Top Polishes 2021 - Part 1

 Välkomna till mitt 10-års jubileum av att lista förra årets favoritlack. Det har blivit en trevlig tradition att sammanställa de här listorna. I år var det kanske lättare, men också svårare än på länge. Lättare för att jag inte har visat så många lack och därför också lättare att välja, men svårare just av samma anledning. Det finns färger och finishar jag upptäckte att jag faktiskt inte haft på naglarna under året. Som vanligt så blir det en lista för favoritfärger och en för favoritfinishar. 

Som traditionen bjuder så är det listan med favoritfärger som får vara först ut. Jag har försökt att välja bland lack som inte är visade tidigare på bloggen, men det kan ha smugit sig med någon nygammal favorit (kan vara för att jag bara hade ett lack i aktuell färg....). Som tidigare år är det alltså inte bara lack från årets kollektioner utan från alla lack jag visat på bloggen. 

Så låt oss börja! Jag uppskattar verkligen om ni kommenterar vad ni tycker om mina val och även om ni har någon egen favorit som ni tycker att jag har missat. 

Welcome to my 10th anniversary of listing last year's favorite polishes. It has become a nice tradition to compile these lists. This year it was perhaps easier, but also more difficult than in a long time. Easier because I have not shown so many polishes and therefore also easier to choose, but more difficult for the same reason. There are colors and finishes I discovered that I did not actually have on my nails during the year. As usual, there will be a list for favorite colors and one for favorite finishes.

As tradition dictates, it is the list of favorite colors that must be first out. I have tried to choose from polishes that have not been shown before on the blog, but it may have gotten some old favorite too (maybe because I only had one polish to choose from in the current color ....). As in previous years, it is not just polishes from this year's collections but from all the polishes I have shown on the blog.

So let's get started! I really appreciate if you comment on what you think of my choices and even more if you share your own favorite that you think I have missed.

 En riktigt god fortsättning på det nya året vill jag önska er allihopa!

Vi har haft en fantastisk jul, vi lyckades hålla oss på benen och kunde fira ihop med våra familjer. Så fint att äntligen ha bägge pojkarna här hemma samtidigt. Nyår, ja det blev väl kanske inte lika kul. Åkt på värsta förkylningen på flera år, nej inte covid, tack och lov. Fortfarande rätt hängig så jag har inte riktigt orkat att uppdatera här. 

Vet ni jag är faktiskt inne på mitt 10:e år som bloggare. Har lite planer om hur detta ska firas i februari. Idag kommer jag visa lacket jag bar på julafton, men ni kan vara lugna det kommer topplistor över förra årets favoriter även om jag inte målat alls så mycket som tidigare år. 

Nåväl, på julafton vill man vara fin och jag kände för ett härligt julrött lack som jag hittade oanvänt i en av alla mina lådor. Det kommer från Depend 7 Day och heter 70062 Oh My Dear och kommer från förra årets julkollektion Holiday Cheer, eller förförra året blir det ju nu. 

Lacket är ett klassiskt rött med fint skimmer i. Som vanligt lätt att måla med och täcker utan minsta problem på två lager. Tja, finns inte så mycket mer att säga om det här än att det är helt underbart.

We have had a fantastic Christmas, we managed to stay on our feet and were able to celebrate with our families. So nice to finally have both boys here at home at the same time. New Year's, well it might not been as fun. I have got the worst cold in several years, no not covid, thank goodness. Still quite effected by that so I have not really had the energy to update here.

You know I'm actually on my 10th year as a blogger. Have some plans on how this will be celebrated in February. Today I will show the polish I wore on Christmas Eve, but you can rest assured there will be top lists of last year's favorites, even if I did not paint as much as previous years.

Well, on Christmas Eve you want to be nice and I felt for a lovely Christmas red that I found unused in one of all my drawers. It comes from Depend 7 Day and is called 70062 Oh My Dear and comes from last year's Christmas collection Holiday Cheer, or actually it's the year before last year now.

The polish is a classic red with fine shimmer in. As usual, easy to paint with and covers without the slightest problem on two coats. Well, there is not much more to say about this than that it is absolutely wonderful.

China Glaze - Now or Nova

 Nä, jag tänker sluta be om ursäkt för att det inte blir så frekventa inlägg. Det är så livet ser ut just nu, orken finns inte alltid och dessutom bär jag ju så lite lack i veckorna. Blir inte så mycket att visa här. Just nu sitter jag och väntar på att mina nytorkade golv ska torka, sen blir det julpyntning av huset.

Förra helgen var jag på julbord med mannens jobb och givetvis måste naglarna vara fina då. Valet föll på ett av lacken från China Glaze Halloween kollektion. Det heter Now or Nova och är ett rödbrunt skimmerlack. Täcker jättebra och två lager är allt som behövs. Däremot märker jag att när man inte målar så ofta längre så blir det lätt lite kladdigare. 

Helt underbar färg på det här lacket. Kände mig väldigt vacker vill jag säga, dessutom var det roligt att klä upp sig lite och måla naglarna, händer ju inte så ofta nu för tiden. 

No, I'm going to stop apologizing for not posting so often. This is what life looks like right now, the energy is not always there and besides, I wear so little polish in the weeks. Won't be so much to show here. Right now I am sitting and waiting for my freshly cleaned floors to dry, then it will be Christmas decoration of the house.

Last weekend I was at a Christmas party with the man's job and of course the nails must be nice then. The choice fell on one of the polishes from the China Glaze Halloween collection. It is called Now or Nova and is a reddish-brown shimmer. Covers very well and two layers are all that is needed. On the other hand, I notice that when you do not paint that often anymore, it easily becomes a little messier.

Absolutely wonderful color on this polish. Felt very beautiful, I want to say, in addition, it was fun to dress up a little and paint the nails, does not happen so often nowadays.'

Depend 7 Day - 70004 Santa Wishes

Tisdag och jag är ledig och sjuk, typiskt. Har i alla fall fått negativt provsvar vilket är det viktigaste. Firar annars 1 år tillsammans med Covid och post-Covid denna veckan. Vill helst inte ha eländet igen. Nåja, jag är bara lite snuvig och hes så ingen större fara på taket. Väntar på en möbelleverans till ett rum som vi (eh min man..) målat och gjort i ordning. Vill att barnen ska få ha det lite mysigt när de kommer hem till jul. Kan bli lite bakning också idag, är sugen på att baka blåbärsgrottor. 

Det var ju andra helgen i advent alldeles nyss och som adventstraditionen bjuder hade jag ett rött lack på mig. Jag har faktiskt inte riktigt koll på om jag visat det här tidigare eller inte, men det kommer i alla fall från Depend 7 Days julkollektion 2016 och heter 70004 Santa Wishes. Ett riktigt tomterött lack med ett diskret glitter i. Jag har två lager på bilderna, tre kanske hade varit bättre, men jag tror faktiskt inte det. 

Underbart härlig färg på det här lacket. Ett alldeles perfekt jullack tycker jag. 

Tuesday and I are free from work and sick, typically. Has in any case received a negative test result, which is the most important thing. I will celebrates 1 year together with Covid and post-Covid this week. Would rather not have try that virus again. Well, I'm just a little snotty and hoarse so no major thing. Waiting for a furniture delivery to a room that we (eh my husband ..) painted and put in order. Wants the children to have a little cozy when they come home for Christmas. Can be a little baking even today, is eager to bake blueberry caves.

It was the second weekend in Advent just recently and as the Advent tradition offers, I wore a red nails. I actually do not really know if I showed this before or not, but it comes from Depend 7 Days Christmas collection 2016 and is called 70004 Santa Wishes. A real Santa red polish with a discreet glitter in. I have two layers in the pictures, three might have been better, but I actually do not think so.

Wonderfully beautiful color on this polish. I think a really perfect Christmas red.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes - Hatchling #10

 Hoppas alla har en riktigt fin 1:a advent, jag har det i alla fall. Det tog sin lilla tid, men nu är alla ljusstakar och stjärnor på plats och huset är mysigt. En lussebulle har minsann slunkit ned också och julmusiken hörs i högtalarna. Jag har som tradition att absolut inte lyssna på julmusik förrän 1:a advent. 

Egentligen får jag inte ha målade naglar på jobbet, men ibland fuskar jag lite, vi sekreterare har ju inte någon direkt patientkontakt och imorgon är en fuskdag för vem vill inte ha röda naglar när det närmar sig jul?

Jag köpte ett gäng lack när Chrissy på Turtle Tootsie Polishes skulle byta namn på sitt företag och bland dessa var ett perfekt jullack. Det är ett lack som aldrig kom i produktion och heter därför helt enkelt Hatchling #10. Ett julrött lack med glitter i lite olika storlekar och former i. Lacket var ganska tjockt, men inte jobbigt att arbeta med. Jag har två lager och topplack på bilderna. 

Älskar röda lack! Det här är absolut inget undantag, så julig och fin röd färg och lite lagom glittrigt tycker jag. 

Hope everyone has a really nice 1st of Advent, I have it anyway. It took its little time, but now all the candlesticks and stars are in place and the house is cozy. A "lussebulle" has slipped down to my stomach as well and the Christmas music can be heard in the speakers. My tradition is to absolutely not listen to Christmas music until the 1st of Advent.

Actually, I am not allowed to have painted nails at work, but sometimes I cheat a little, we secretaries do not have any direct patient contact and tomorrow is a cheating day for who does not want red nails when Christmas is approaching?

I bought a bunch of polishes when Chrissy at Turtle Tootsie Polishes was going to rebrand the name of her company and among these was a perfect Christmas polish. It is a polish that never came into production and is therefore simply called Hatchling # 10. A Christmas red polish with glitter in slightly different sizes and shapes. The polish was quite thick, but not hard to work with. I have two coats and topcoat on the pictures.

Love red polishes! This is by no means an exception, such perfect Christmas red color and a just as much glitter as you need I think.
