Reader's Choice - Glam Polish Wingardium Leviosa

Vilken slöhelg vi haft. Inte gjort någonting vettigt faktiskt. Vilket var väldigt skönt. Nästa helg kommer att ägnas åt en hemtenta och sen är det julfixning som gäller helgen innan julafton, så det passade bra med en liten vilohelg. Ikväll ska på en julkonsert med en kör från staden där en av mina klasskompisar är med. Ska bli mycket trevligt.

Det är så klart rött lack som gäller och det var två som fick lika många röster denna veckan. Som enväldigt domare bestämde jag mig för att visa det som var otestat, alltså blev det Glam Polish Wingardium Leviosa som nu sitter på mina naglar. Underbart att jobba med, fick ta 3 lager. Kanske hade det räckt med 2, men jag kände att det sista spädde på glöden i det här lacket.

Det här riktigt skriker jullack och jag fullkomligt älskar det! Och ja, jag är sugen på att göra något julmönster över det.

Det blir två gamla favoriter och ett otestat som ni får att rösta på denna veckan också.

What a lazy weekend we had. Haven't really done anything actually. Which was very nice. Next weekend will be devoted to a home exame and then it is Christmas fixing that applies to the weekend before Christmas Eve, so it fits well with a little rest weekend. Tonight I'm going to a Christmas concert with a choir in the city where one of my classmates is singing. Should be very nice.

It is obviously red polish that applies and there were two who got the same number of votes this week. As a single judge, I decided to show the one that was untested, so it is Glam Polish Wingardium Leviosa who now sits on my nails. Wonderful to work with, had to take 3 layers. Maybe it had been enough with 2, but I felt the last really added to the glow in this polish.

This really screams Christmas to me and I absolutely love it! And yes, I am eager to make a Christmas pattern over it.

There will be two old favorites and one untested that you get to vote for this week as well.

Gingerbreads

Egentligen sitter jag och skriver på vårt examensarbete... Nåja, ska strax sätta igång med det, men först hade jag lite grejer jag behövde fixa. Tänkte att vi skulle ha en lugn och skön helg denna helgen för nästa behöver jag sitta med en hemtenta som jag har för avsikt att vara klar med innan jul.

Jag visade Depend O2 602 häromdagen och direkt när jag målade med det insåg jag att det skulle vara perfekt bas till en pepparkaks nail art. Mönstret hittade jag på Über Chic Holiday Spirit och jag har stämplat med MoYou London White Knight. Jag hade tur och hittade en liten flaska Seche Vite bland mina grejer vilket betyder att jag kunde lägga på topplack utan att färgen smetade ut sig.

Jag har fått många positiva kommentar på den här manikyren och själv tycker jag att den är riktigt söt.

I should really be sitting writing on our exame... Well, I'll start with that right away, but first I had some stuff I needed to do. Thinking that we will have a nice weekend this weekend for the next, I need to sit with a home exame that I intend to be done with before Christmas.

I showed Depend O2 602 the other day and immediately when I painted with it I realized it would be the perfect base for a gingerbread nail art. The pattern comes from Über Chic Holiday Spirit and I have stamped with MoYou London White Knight. I was lucky and found a small bottle of Seche Vite among my stuff which means I could put on top coat without smudging the pattern.

I have received many positive comments on this manicure and I think it is really cute.

Depend O2 - 602

Dagarna springer förbi väldigt fort, jag har bara 3 ynka dagar kvar på min nuvarande praktikplats. Känns overkligt att det snart bara är 1 termin kvar tills jag är färdig med utbildningen. En ganska tuff termin dock.

Jag fortsätter att försöka delta i lite olika challenge på Instagram och en som jag varit med i några veckor i rad nu är den när man ska hitta ett lack som så mycket som möjligt matchar en Pantone färg. Denna veckan var det Sugar Almond. Lacket jag hittade var kanske i mörkaste laget, men det närmaste jag kom. Det här är Depend O2 602 som är ett brunt skimmerlack från Recycle kollektionen. Mycket bra att arbeta med och som vanligt så är det två lager och topplack ni ser på bilderna.

Det här är ett riktigt härligt brunt lack. Skimret gör verkligen att lacket får det där lilla extra.

The days pass very fast, I only have 3 days left at my current internship. It feels unreal that there will only be 1 semester left until I finish my education. A pretty tough term though.

I keep trying to participate in different challenges on Instagram and one that I've been with for a few weeks in a row now is the one were you need to find a polish that matches as much as possible a Pantone color. This week it was Sugar Almond. The polish I found was perhaps a bit dark, but the closest I had among my untried. This is Depend O2 602 which is a brown shimmer from the Recycle collection. Very good to work with and as usual there are two layers and top coat you see in the pictures.

This is a really lovely brown polish. The shimmer really makes it get that little extra.

Christmas Candles

Igår var det första advent och det var också en challenge på Instagram med tema ljus, hann inte lägga upp det här igår, men tänkter att ni kanske kan tycka att det är kul med en 1:a advents manikyr även idag. 

Basen är China Glaze Living In the Elmo-ment, mönstret kommer från Über Chic Holiday Jingle och så har jag stämplat med olika lack från MoYou London och Hit the Bottle. Tyvärr har jag insett att mitt topplack från Essie inte funkar på stämpling. Det drar med sig färgen oavsett om jag tycker jag väntat tillräckligt länge eller inte.

I alla fall så tycker jag att det blev en fin helgkänsla i den här manikyren. 

Yesterday was the first of advent and it was also a challenge on Instagram with a theme candles, did not have time to post this yesterday, but I thought that you might think it was nice to see an 1st of Advent manicure today as well.

The base is China Glaze Living In the Elmo-ment, the pattern comes from Über Chic Holiday Jingle and so I have stamped with different polishes from MoYou London and Hit the Bottle. Unfortunately, I have realized that my top coat from Essie does not work on stamping. It drags the color with the brush, regardless of whether I think I've waited long enough or not.

In any case, I think it became a nice holiday feeling in this manicure.

Reader's Choice - China Glaze Living In the Elmo-ment

Vilken fin helg vi haft. Hunnit städa huset och fixa med pynt för advent, ätit pizza med härliga vänner. Varit hos min mamma och planerat inför julen. Nytt för i år är att vi inte ska samlas hos henne, det börjar bli för trångt där, utan vi ska vara hos mig istället och alla hjälper till med mat och godis. Nu sitter jag här med nymålade naglar och lyssnar på julmusik under tiden jag skriver.

Det är 1:a advent och även 1:a december och naglarna pryds med månadens första röda lack. Ett som ni valt åt mig. Det blev China Glaze Living In the Elmo-ment som vann omröstningen. Det här är ett körsbärsrött lack med massa prismatiskt glitter i. Jag blev lite förvånad när det faktiskt täckte på två lager, kändes lite tunt först, men som sagt två lager och topplack är vad jag har på bilderna.

Det här blev verkligen en bra början på mina röda läsarnas val. Lacket är inte riktigt julrött utan lite ljusare, det kommer ju faktiskt inte från någon julkollektion, och jag tycker att det passar perfekt så här i början av december. Det är verkligen ett härligt glitter i det också.

Vi fortsätter med röda lack. Lite blandat av otestade och gamla favoriter den här veckan.

What a great weekend we had. Having cleaned the house and fixed with decorations for advent, eaten pizza with lovely friends. Been to my mom and planned for Christmas. New for this year is that we will not gather at her place, it is getting too crowded there, but instead take the traditions to my house at Christmas Eve and everyone helps with food and sweets. Now I sit here with newly painted nails and listen to Christmas music while I write.

It is the 1st of Advent and also the 1st day of December and the nails are adorned with the first red polish of the month. One that you have chosen for me. It was China Glaze Living In the Elmo-ment that won the poll. This is a cherry red polish with lots of prismatic glitter in it. I was a bit surprised when it actually covered in two layers, felt a bit sheer at first, but as I said two layers and top coat is what I have in the pictures.

This really was a good start to my red readers' choices. The polish is not really Christmas red but a little lighter, it actually doesn't come from any Christmas collection, and I think it fits perfectly in this early December. There is really a lovely glitter in it too.
