Reader's Choice - China Glaze Ahoy!

Jaha, ännu en vecka som gick fort som tusan. Igår var maken på ölprovning med den manliga delen av sin familj och vi andra samlades hos hans systerdotter och hade en trevlig kväll med god mat. Idag ska vi åka och lyssna på Henrik Widegren, ska bli riktigt kul. Måste försöka läsa lite mer litteratur om distansarbete också, men att läsa rapporter och skrivelser är inte världskul faktiskt.

Jag målade faktiskt om till veckans läsarnas val redan igår kväll, ville ju vara fin när jag skulle iväg. Lacket ni valde åt mig är en gammal klassiker, ChinaGlaze Ahoy! Det här är ett ganska skarpt rosa glass fleck lack som kom ut med en vårkollektion redan 2011. Det är smidigt att jobba med och jag tyckte två lager funkade bra.

Jag vet att jag inte var så förtjust i det här lacket när jag målade med det första gången sommaren 2012, nästa gång 2017 var det bättre. Färgen är fin och det är absolut inget fel på det här lacket, men någon favorit blir det inte hur klassiskt det än är bland oss lacksamlare.

Vi kör på rosa till nästa vecka också.

Well, another week that just passed by fast as usuall. Yesterday my husband was on a beer tasting with the male part of his family and the rest of us gathered at his niece house and had a nice evening with good food. Today we will go and listen to Henrik Widegren, will be really fun. Must try to read some more literature on telework, too, but reading reports and scientific articles is not fun at all.

I actually repainted to the readers' choice last night already, wanted to be nice when I was going out. The polish you chose for me is an old classic, ChinaGlaze Ahoy! This is a pretty sharp pink glass fleck polish that came out with a spring collection already in 2011. It is easy to work with and I thought two layers worked well.

I know I was not so fond of this polish when I painted with it the first time in the summer of 2012, the next time in 2017 it was better. The color is nice and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this, but it still ain't no favorite of mine no matter how classic it is among us polish collectors.

We will be running on pink for next week as well.

Depend O2 - 5092 In Control

Halva veckan avklarad. Mycket diagnoskoder i huvudet just nu vill jag lova. Hade en trevlig kväll med gänget som jag praktiserade hos på Öron igår. Så kul att träffa allihopa, saknar det härliga gänget. Har pratat med bägge barnen idag, saknar dom så oerhört mycket, men snart får jag träffa dom igen.

Jag sitter och bloggar med alldeles nymålade naglar. Lacket jag valde är ännu ett från Depend O2s Mrs Gray kollektion. Det här heter 5092 In Control och är ett gråbrunt lack med kopparskimmer. Suveränt bra formula och två lager räcker utan problem. Jag har topplack över.

Det här lacket är verkligen supersnyggt, ännu ett som jag är tveksam på om jag har något liknande i samlingen. Skimret gör det här väldigt speciellt och jag gillar det riktigt mycket.

Half a week completed. A lot of diagnostic codes in my head right now, that's for sure. Had a nice evening with the gang that I had my first internship at ENT yesterday. So fun to meet everyone, missing the lovely gang. Have talked to both kids today, miss them so much right now, but soon I will meet them again when we go to Uppsala in a couple of weeks. 

I sit and blog with freshly painted nails. The polish I chose is yet another from Depend O2's Mrs Gray collection. This is called 5092 In Control and is a gray-brown polish with copper shimmer. Superb formula and two layers are enough without problems. I have top coat over.

This polish is really super gorgeous, yet another one I doubt if I have anything similar to in my collection. The shimmer makes this very special and I really like it.

Reader's Choice - Purrfect Pawlish Pink Champagne

Oj oj vad jag har varit slö den här helgen, faktiskt inte gjort något vettigt alls. Igår kväll kollade vi äntligen på A Star Is Born, bra, men kanske inte så bra som jag hade förväntat mig. Bakat lite har jag ju faktiskt hunnit göra också. Lite kakor är ju aldrig fel att ha i frysen.

Söndagskväll igen och jag sitter här med nymålade naglar i ett lack från ett märke som jag saknar. Purrfect Pawlish var ett svenskt Indiemärke som jag samarbetade med. Fantastiskt fina lack och bra kvalité. Jag har ju sagt att det ska vara rosa läsarnas val lack nu i oktober så därför är det Pink Champagne från sagda märke som ni får se idag. Det här lacket släpptes i en sommarduo 2015 och är ett mörkt gammelrosa holo. Fortfarande lika bra att jobba med och två lager räcker. Jag har som vanligt topplack över också.

Det är verkligen en vacker rosa färg på det här lacket, inte någon superstark holo direkt, men den finns där och tillför väldigt mycket till lacket.

I've been really lazy this weekend, actually haven't done anything of all that I should have done. Last night we finally looked at A Star Is Born, good, but maybe not as good as I expected. I have actually been able to do some baking too. A little cookies are never wrong to have in the freezer.

Sunday night again and I'm sitting here with freshly painted nails in a polish from a brand I really miss. Purrfect Pawlish was a Swedish Indie brand that I had a close collaboration with. Fantastic polishes and good quality. I have said that it should be pink readers' choice while in October so that's why it is Pink Champagne from said brand that you see today. This polish was released in a summer duo in 2015 and is a dark old fashioned pink holo. Still really good to work with and two layers are enough. As usual, I have top coat over.

It really is a beautiful pink color on this polish, not a super strong holo, but it is there and adds a lot to the polish. 

We are running some old goodies among my pink polishes for next week.

Essie - With the Band

Vilket ruskväder det är ute! Skönt att få vara inne i värmen. Jag har varit en sväng inne på skolan idag och träffat min vän som jag ska skriva examensarbete med. Vi tog en tur till biblioteket för att hitta lite böcker i ämnet distansarbete. Eftermiddagen blev lite oplanerat spenderad på soffan. Var så himla trött och det var skönt att slöa lite.

Gubben har åkt på hockey och jag roar mig med att måla naglar nu ikväll. Valet föll på ett lack som jag tyckte kändes lagom höstaktigt. Essie With the Band fick jag i förra årets adventskalender ett rödbrunt krämlack. Just det här lacket var faktiskt lite trixigt att måla med. Färgen ville gärna rinna ner i nagelbanden och jag målade faktiskt om ett par naglar. Det slutade i alla fall med två lager och topplack.

Färgen på det här lacket tycker jag är väldigt väldigt fin. Inte på något sätt diskret, men ändå lite lugn liksom. Mycket snyggt!

What a aweful weather it is outside! Nice to be inside in the heat. I have been in the school today and met my friend with whom I will write our examepaper. We took a trip to the library to find some books on the topic of telework. The afternoon was a little unplanned spent on the couch. Was so very tired and it was nice to sleep a little.

The old man has gone to hockey game and I enjoy painting my nails tonight. The choice fell on a polish that I felt was very autumnlike. I got this in last year's Advent calendar, Essie With the Band is a reddish-brown cream polish. This particular polish was actually a bit trixy to work with. The color liked to run down the cuticles and I actually repainted a few nails. In any case, it ended with two layers and topcoat.

The color of this polish I think is very very nice. Not in any way discreet, but still a bit quiet in some way. Very beautiful!

Vi har börjat vår klassificeringskurs i skolan och det är riktigt kul måste jag säga. På praktiken har jag haft det bra som vanligt, jag fick vara med på neurokonsultationsdagen igår och jag lovar att det var superintressant. Snart helg igen och jag har inget särskilt planerat, vilket är rätt skönt.

Jag målade faktiskt om naglarna för ett par dagar sedan, men har inte riktigt haft tid och ork att hinna blogga, men ikväll har jag det. Lacket kommer från Depend O2s nya Mrs Gray kollektion och har både namn och nummer. Det heter 5094 Graphite Motion. Ett grafitgrått lack med lite diskret blått skimmer i. Skimret syns mer på bilderna än i verkligheten tycker nog jag. Mycket lätt att jobba med. Två lager + topplack.

Jag trivs alltid fantastiskt bra i grå naglar och det här lacket är absolut inget undantag. Mycket snyggt tycker jag.

We have started our classification course at school and it is really fun I must say. At my intership I have had a good time as usual, I got to participate in the neuroconsultation day yesterday and I promise it was super interesting. Soon it's weekend again and I have nothing special planned, which is pretty nice.

I actually repainted the nails a couple of days ago, but haven't really had the time and energy to catch up on blogging, but tonight I have. The polish comes from Depend O2's new Mrs Gray collection and has both name and number. It's called 5094 Graphite Motion. A graphite gray with a little discreet blue shimmer in. The shimmer is more visible in the pictures than in reality I think. Very easy to work with. Two layers + topcoat.

I always enjoy wearing gray nails and this polish is absolutely no exception. I think this is really great.
