CND Vinylux - Alpine Plum

Jag fortsätter med vinterlack och dagens lack kommer ur CND Vinylux vinterkollektion Glacial Illusion.

Alpine Plum är ett ljust syrenlila något lite frostigt lack. CND har ändrat formulan på sina Vinylux lack som nu ska ha en bättre sammansättning som andas mer på naglarna. Hur nu det går till. I vilket fall som helst så var det suveränt bra att applicera och täcker på två lager. Kanske till och med på ett om man tar tillräckligt tjockt. På bilderna har jag topplack över.

Jag tänker så här: Om vatten hade varit ljust lila istället för blått så hade en frusen sjö haft den här färgen. Att det är lite frostigt gör att det inte blir en storfavorit hos mig, men jag tycker ändå att det är en ganska perfekt vinterfärg.

I continue with winter polishes and today's one comes from the CND Vinylux winter collection Glacial Illusion.

Alpine Plum is a light lilac slightly frosted polish. CND has changed the formula on the Vinylux polishes, which now has a better composition that breathes more on the nails. Don't ask me how that works.  In any case, it was great to apply and covers in two layers. Perhaps even one if you take one pretty thick layer. In the pictures I have topcoat over.

I'm thinking like this: If water had been light purple instead of blue, then a frozen lake would have had this color. I think it's a nice color but the frosty part of it stops it from hitting my favorite list. but I still think it's a pretty perfect winter color.

Depend 7 Day - Bedtime Stories & Magical Ice Rink

Jag tänkte koncentrera mig mest på jullack och lite vintrig nail art härframöver, men det lär smyga sig in även andra lack misstänker jag. Dagens två lack kommer från årets julkollektion från Depend 7 Day som heter Just Like Magic. Ett av de här lacken fanns faktiskt med i förra årets kollektion också. Det svarta Bedtime Stories, men det känns helt ok för det är väldigt fint. Även i Depend O2s julkollektion finns det i alla fall en gammal goding som fått komma tillbaka.

I alla fall så visar jag idag Bedtime Stories som är ett svart jelly lack med massor av glitter i. Jag tyckte att två lager var lite för lite det tredje gjorde lacket mycket svartare tycker jag. Det var väldigt smidigt att jobba med. Det som förvånade mig lite var att Magical Ice Rink som är ett silvrigt microglitter lack täckte utan problem på två lager. Jag hade nog förväntat mig tre. På bilderna har jag topplack över.

Jag gillar bägge det här två lacken riktigt mycket. Hela den här manikyren känns som en som hade passat riktigt bra på nyårsafton tycker jag. Magical Ice Rink är glittrigt och passar enligt mig utmärkt både till hel manikyr och som accentnagel.

I thought I'd concentrate most on Christmas polishes and a little winter nail art in the weeks before Christmas, but I guess I might sneak in some other polishes too. Today's two polishes come from this year's Christmas collection from Depend 7 Day called Just Like Magic. One of these  was actually included in last year's collection as well. The Black Bedtime Stories, but it feels quite ok because it's very nice. Even in Depend O2's Christmas collection there is an oldie but goldie that has  come back.

In any case, today I show Bedtime Stories which is a black jelly with a lot of glitter in. I didn't think it was black enough after two layers, but the third fixed that. It was very easy to work with. What amazed me was that the Magical Ice Rink, a silvery microglitter covered in two layers without any problems. I was sure I was going to need three. In the pictures I have topcoat over.

I like this two polishes really much. This whole manicure feels like something that would be perfect for New Year's Eve. And I do think that Magical Ice Rink works perfect both for a whole manicure and as a accent nail.

Reader's Choice - Kolt Tension

Lacket som ni har valt åt mig den här veckan kommer från ett märke som jag inte vet ett dugg om. Det heter Kolt och jag vet faktiskt inte alls när eller var jag köpte det här, men i min låda har det stått ett tag i alla fall. Jag hittar inte ens speciellt mycket info när jag googlar.

Nåja, Kolt HD Tension trodde nog jag skulle ha lite mer holo i sig, men det har det inte alls. Istället är det ett skarpt rosa lack med lila skimmer. Riktigt bra att måla med och egentligen räcker nog ett lager, men jag har två på bilderna. Ville nog mest kolla om det gjorde någon skillnad och det tycker jag nog inte det gjorde.

Alltså det här är ju en helt ok färg, men kanske inte något som jag är superimpad av. Däremot så är jag nog benägen att testa mer från märket om jag hittar några för det var en bra pensel och superbra formula.

Det blir ytterligare tre slumpmässiga att välja på till nästa vecka.

The polish that you have chosen for me this week comes from a brand that I don't know anything about. It's called Kolt and I really don't even know when or where I bought this, but it's been in my box for a while. I didn't even find any useful information when I googled this. 

Well, Kolt HD Tension is this weeks reader's choice and I probably thought there would be a little holo in this, but no, not at all. Instead, it's a bright pink with purple shimmer. Really good to paint with and actually a one coater, but I have two in the pictures. I wanted to see if there was any difference in the color with two instead of one coat, but there really isn't. 

So this is a perfectly ok color, but maybe not something I'm superimpressed of. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind try more from the brand if I find some because it was a good brush and super good formula.

OPI Turn On The Northern Lights!

Idag blir det ännu en tur till Jönköping och kanske vidare till Linköping. Förra veckans besök resulterade i att läkaren var 99% säker på att jag har artros i knät, men för säkerhets skull vill han att jag gör en MR också. Tyvärr fanns det inga tider när jag var där, men det känns rätt ok att köra dit upp istället för att vänta 6 månader på den lokala sjukvården.

På naglarna sitter mitt sista lack från OPIs Iceland kollektion och jag måste säga att det är stjärnan i kollektionen som jag sparat till sist. Det här mina vänner är Turn On The Northern Lights. Ett blålila lack med ett fantastiskt lilarosa skimmer. Det är sånt galet djup i det här lacket. Det påminner mig faktiskt lite om effekten man fick med lacket alla ville ha för något år sedan nämligen Max Factor Fantasy Fire.

Bra att måla med och för mig täckte det på två lager. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Det här är urtjusigt och även om det redan visats på många bloggar och många Instagram konton så är det verkligen värt att visas om och om igen. En klar vinnare som jag är så himla glad att jag har i min samling.

Today we will take another trip to Jönköping and maybe on to Linköping. At my visit last week the doctor was 99% sure that I have osteoarthritis, but to no for certain he wants me to do an MR. Unfortunately, there were no free times when I was there, but it feels okay to drive up again instead of waiting 6 months at the local hospital.

On my nails is my last polish from OPI's Iceland collection and I have to say that it's the star in the collection that I saved for last. This my friends are Turn On The Northern Lights. A kind of blurple polish with a fantastic pink/purple shimmer. There is such crazy depth in this polish.  It actually reminds me of the effect that you got with the coat everyone wanted a couple of years ago, namely Max Factor Fantasy Fire.

Good to paint with and for me it covered in two layers. On the pictures I have topcoat on.

This is so beautiful and although it has already been shown on many blogs and many Instagram accounts, it's really worth showing over and over again. A clear winner I'm so happy I have it in my collection.

Reindeer nails!

För ett litet tag sedan fick jag ett kul paket från Born Pretty Store med lite blandade grejer och idag tänker jag skriva lite om två av dem.

Som bas till det här har jag det underbara China Glaze Royal Pain In The Ascot. Två av produkterna var liksom gjorda för att testas tillsammans. En stämpelplatta med fina renmotiv. Perfekt nu när det börjar bli dags med julmanikyrer och ett stämpellack i en roséguldig färg.

Låt oss börja med plattan som har nummer 192 och är en rund platta med tre heltäckande mönster och fem olika mindre renar. Bra etsad och mycket smidigt att få upp mönstret från. Kommer helt klart att användas mer gånger.

Jag har testat en del stämpellack från BPS innan och jag måste säga att jag verkligen gillar de här. Ingen konstig lukt och mycket täckande. Så ja, det här kommer absolut också att användas igen.

För att sätta pricken över i:et så gjorde jag en liten röd mule med en dottingtool också. Jag hade lätt kunnat bära den här manikyren på julafton. Är supernöjd med färger, mönster och helheten.

A little while ago I got a fun package from Born Pretty Store with a little mixed stuff and today I'm going to write a little about two of them.

As a base for this, I have the wonderful China Glaze Royal Pain In The Ascot. Two of the products were also made for testing together. A stamping plate with nice reindeers. Perfect since it's time for Christmas manicures and a stamping polish in a rosegold color.

Let's start with the plate that has number 192. It's a round plate with three full designs and five different smaller reindeer. Good etched and very easy to pick up the patterns from. I will definitely be using this again.

I've tested some stamping polishes from BPS before and I have to say I really like them. No strange smell and very covering. So yes, this will definitely be used again.

To make it a little extra cute, I did a little red mule with a dotting tool too. I could easily see myself wear this Christmas Eve. I'm super pleased with both colors, patterns and the whole manicure.
