ABC Challenge - K = Kiko 831

Till att representera bokstaven K har jag valt ut ett av mina Berlin fynd som jag köpte i Oktober när jag var där.

Det här är Kiko 831 ett fantastiskt fin kornblått krämlack. Det påminner en del om HM Blue My Mind och möjligen Essie Butler Please. Ett sånt där lack som man blir glad av tycker jag.

Jag gillar verkligen Kiko lacken. Oftast väldigt bra att måla med och om man kan köpa dom direkt i Kikos butiker så är det bra priser på dom också. 831 täckte utan problem på två lager och har en bra torktid. Jag har ett lager med Digital Flash över också.

 

Det är svårt att inte gilla ett lack med en sån här färg. Jag tycker verkligen det är mycket fint. 

To represent the letter K, I have chosen one of the polishes I bought when I was in Berlin in October.

This is Kiko 831 a wonderful bright blue creme polish. It reminds me of HM Blue My Mind and possibly Essie Butler. One of those polishes that makes you happy, I think.

I really like Kiko polishes. Usually very good to paint with and if you can buy them directly in the Kiko store it's good prices on them too. 831 covered without problems in two layers and have a good drying time. I have a layer of Digital Flash over too.

It's hard not to like a polish with this kind of color. I really think it is very nice

Delush Polish - Glam Squad

Nu har jag faktiskt inte visat något rött lack på ett litet tag så det är dags tycker jag. Och vilket rött lack sen. Det här är Delush Polish Glam Squad och det är bara helt fantastiskt vackert.

Jag hittar faktiskt inte ett enda fel med det här. Det är lätt att lacka med, torkar fort vilket gör att det inte spelar någon roll att man behöver tre lager för full täckning. På bilderna är det ett lager topplack också.

Helt ärligt så har jag njutit av att bära det här. Hade inte mitt chippfinger börjar strula så hade jag lätt kunnat ha kvar det ett antal dagar till. Nu blev det fyra dagar. Och mitt chippfinger är mitt pekfinger på höger hand. Jag har en liten skada på den nageln som gör att alla lack chippar efter några dagar.

Färgen är metallic röd med lite drag åt det oranga. Jag har inte så mycket mer att säga om det här än titta och njut. Och älskar du röda lack är det här ett måste faktiskt.

I haven't shown a red polish for a while so I thinkt it's time now.  And what a red polish this is. I'm talking about  Delush Polish Glam Squad and it is just absolutely amazingly beautiful.

I can't actually find one single fault with this. It's easy to paint with, dries quickly, which means that it does not matter that you need three coats for full coverage. In the pictures I also have a layer of topcoat.

Quite honestly, I have enjoyed wearing this so much. If my chipping finger hadn't started to mess I would easily been able to wear it another couple of days. Now it became four days. And my chipping finger is my index finger of the right hand. I have a little damage to that nail that makes any polish start chipping after a few days.

The color is metallic red with a little touch of orange. I don't have much more to say about this than watch and enjoy. And if you love red polishes this is a must have.

Mentality - Incite

Idag får ni se Mentality Incite ett enligt beskrivningen lila holografiskt jellychrome med skiftningar.
Nu måste jag ju protestera igen, för jag tycker inte alls det här är lila. För mig är det mer isblått med guld-gröna skiftningar och holo.

Fast det här Jellychrome lacket tycker jag är fint. Instigate som jag visade för ett tag sedan gick ju inte riktigt hem, men det gör det här. Jag gillar skiftningarna i det. Dom var svåra att fånga på foto, men dom finns där och är riktigt fina.

Det här lacket är riktigt tjockt så man får se till att dra av penseln mot flaskan rätt bra och ta lite tunnare lager. Annars blir torktiden allt för lång. Två lager räcker gott. På bilderna har jag topplack också.

Jag gillar den något kalla tonen i det här lacket och att det är mer guldigt än silvrigt vilket annars brukar vara grejen i den här färgskalan.

Jag gillar Mentality och tycker absolut att ni ska testa något från märket. Bra lack till bra pris som du hittar hos Edgy Polish.

Today you will see Mentality Incite one as described holographic purple jelly chrome with shifts in it. 
Well I have to protest about that purple thing  because I don't think this is purple. For me it's more ice blue with gold-green shifts and holo.

I showed another Jellychrome a while ago called Instigate and that polish didn't really do it for me but this does. I like the shifts in it. They were difficult to capture in photos, but they are there and are really nice.

This polish is really thick so you have to be sure to pull the brush toward the bottle pretty well and take a little thinner layers. Otherwise, the drying time will get too long. Two layers is enough for coverage. In the pictures I have a layer of topcoat too.

I like the slightly cold tone in this polish and that it's shifting towards gold instead of silver which otherwise tend to be fashionable in this color range.

I like Mentality and definitely think you should try something from the brand. Good polishes for a good price, available from Edgy Polish.

Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Darling Diva Polish Fomalhaut

Lördag igen och inget inplanerat vilket känns rätt skönt. Min röst är inte var den borde så det blir inte någon karaoke i alla fall ;)

Förra veckan fick ni rösta på tre olika Darling Diva lack och jag var faktiskt lite förvånad över hur ojämn röstningen var. Jag trodde nog att det skulle blir ett ganska jämt resultat, men icke för Fomalhaut drog ifrån på en gång och vann överlägset.

Och då var vi tillbaka till ett lack som jag inte kunde låta bli att lägga över svart. Fomalhaut har en lite svarttonad bas och glitter i blått och grönt som jag tror kan vara lite multichroma faktiskt. Det är riktigt fina färger tillsammans tycker jag.

En mycket bra sak med det här lacket är att glittrena sprider sig väldigt lätt över nageln. Inget fiskande här inte. Jag valde att lägga två lager över ett svart krämlack. Och sen bestämde jag mig för att pröva Purrfect Pawlishs Matte Paws. Alltså ett matt överlack på detta. Ofta tycker jag att glittermanikyrer blir riktigt häftiga när man gör dom matta.

Just Matte Paws blir inte supermatt utan mer satinmatt skulle jag nog vilja säga, men jag gillar verkligen hur Fomalhaut blev med matt lack över. Tyvärr så är det ju så att det här är inte snabbtorkande vilket jag inte tänkte på utan målade med det precis innan jag skulle iväg.. Inte så smart. Manikyren åker bort idag.

Men i alla fall måste jag säga att Darling Diva Fomalhaut är en riktigt snygging. Nu är jag rätt säker på att det här kan vara lite svårt att få tag på, men om ni får syn på det någonstans så är det väl värt att äga.

Glöm inte rösta på nästa veckas lack.

It's Saturday again and nothing scheduled, which feels quite nice. My voice is not where it should be so there will definitly be no karaoke ;)

Last week you had three different Darling Diva polishes to vote on and I was actually a little surprised at how uneven the voting was. I thought that it would be a fairly even results, but not at all because Fomalhaut pulled away at once and won convincingly.

And again a polish that I could not help but add over black. Fomalhaut has a little blacktoned jellybase and glitter in blue and green which I think may be a bit multichrome actually. It's really nice colors together, I think.

A very good thing about this polish is that the glitters spreads very easily over the nail. No fishing here for glitter at all. I chose to put two layers over a black creme polish. And then I decided to try Purrfect Pawlishs Matte Paws that is a matte top coat on it. Often I find that glittermanicures gets really cool when you make them matte.

Just Matte Paws is not super matte but more satin I guess I would like to say, but I really like how Fomalhaut turned out with this effect. Unfortunately the fact is that this is not fast drying which I did not think of, but painted with it just before I was going out.. Not so clever. The manicure will be taken of today.

But in any case I must say that Darling Diva Fomalhaut is a real hottie. Now I am pretty sure that this can be a little hard to find, but if you catch sight of it somewhere it is well worth owning.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Inspired By Fashion - Green & Gold

Den här månaden är temat hos The Nail Challenge Collaborativ Inspired By Fashion. Inspirerad av mode alltså. Jag är helt borta när det gäller just mode, så det blev googlande för att hitta lite inspiration. Nu är det ju inget som säger att det skulle vara modern just exakt nu faktiskt, så det kanske blir lite fusk.

Den här manikyren kom egentligen till genom att jag hade Colors By Llarowe Mojito på naglarna och insåg att det skulle se väldigt bra ut med något stämplat i guld över. Så jag sökte helt enkelt på guld och grönt. Bland bilderna på Google hittade jag en klänning med mönstr som är guldblad, men faktiskt så såg dom rätt lika ut som paisley mönster så jag har tolkat lite som jag själv ville.

Grunden till den här manikyren är alltså Colors By Llarowe Mojito som jag sen har stämplat ett mönster från BM 315 plattan med hjälp av Models Own Chrome Gold

Ok, det är inte exakt samma mönster, men jag tycker ändå att det påminner om klänningen och jag är nöjd med resultatet. Tycker att färgerna gifter sig väldigt bra.

This month's theme at The Nail Challenge Collaborative is Inspired By Fashion. I'm not at all interested in fashion so I had to google for inspiration. The god thing is that it doesn't say inspired by this years fashion, just fashion so it might cheat a little.

This manicure really came to life because I had Colors By Llarowe Mojito on the nails and realized that it would look very good with something stamped in gold over. So I simply searched on the internet for gold and green fashion. Among the images on Google, I found a dress with a pattern that looks like gold leaf, but actually if you have a little imagination they do look a bit like paisley as well. That is how I hav interpreted it anyway.

The bas of this manicure is Colors By Llarowe Mojito which I then have stamped a pattern from the BM 315 plate using Models Own Chrome Gold

Ok, it's not exactly the same pattern, but I still think it is reminiscent of the dress and I'm happy with the result. I think these colors goes very well together.
