OPI - Thank Glogg It's Friday

Blir ju lite fel att visa det här lacket en tisdag, men nu blir det så i alla fall.

OPI Thank Glogg It's Friday fick följa med mig till Linköping helgen som var och jag måste säga att jag trivdes alldeles utmärkt i det. Dock kan jag nog inte tycka att det är riktigt glögglikt. Möjligen i skugga när det nästan ser lite grumligt ut. Nästan som glögg, men mer magentafärgat. För lacket är röd/magenta lite beroende på ljuset man ser det i. I skugga ser det mer glögglikt ut och med lite ljus på så blir det mer magentalikt och ett fint skimmer framträder.

Det var mycket trevligt att lacka med och täcker på två lager. Torkar fort. Ett lager Seche har jag på också.

Ok, jag erkänner att jag köpte det först och främst för namnet skull, men jag gillar det verkligen. Det här lacket blev även det sista mina fina långa naglar fick bära för långfingernageln fick en spricka lååångt ner och nu är alla kapade och kommer bli ännu kortare misstänker jag. Snyft...

Well it feels a little wrong to show this polish on a Tuesday, but that is the way it will be any way.

OPI Thank Glogg It's Friday was the polish I wore when we were in Linköping the last weekend and I must say I liked it. However, I don't think it looks like Glogg because it's way to much magenta in it for that. Possibly in the shade when it almost looks a little turbid. Almost as Glogg does when you have pourded it in to the pot to warm it, but still more magenta. I think this shifts from looking totally magenta to a very dull kind of red depending on the light you see it in. In the shadow it looks more like Gloggg and with a little light on it becomes more like magenta and a very fine shimmer emerges.

It was very nice to paint with and covers in two layers. Dries quickly. I have a coat of Seche over it. 

Ok, I admit that I bought it primarily for the name sake, but I really like it. This polish was also the last thing my beautiful long nails were covered by because I got a bad crack in my middle finger nail looong down and I had to cut them all of and repair as much as I Could, but I suspect that I might have to cut even more when the nasty crack have grown closer to the edge of the finger. Sob ...

NailArt Sunday - Rutor (Squares)

Söndag och dagens tema i NailArt Sunday är Rutor. Jaha, det här kan bli intressant för det här temat går att tolka hur som helst. I alla fall tycker jag det.

Själv så bestämde jag mig för att göra en ganska klassisk rutmanikyr, men en färgglad sådan. Jag har använt mig av Nubar Lemon Sherbert som bas. La på Nail Vinyls och målade de fyra rutorna med Orly Fresh, China Glaze Tart-y For The Party, Essence Snow White Grumpy och Powder Perfect With My High Heels On.

Kanterna blev inte helt raka, men jag gillar faktiskt att det blev nästan en lite suddig effekt. Glad manikyr blev det i alla fall.

Sunday and today's theme of NailArt Sunday is Square. Well, this could be interesting for this theme can be interpreted in so many ways. At least I think so.

I decided to make a fairly classic square manicure, but a colorful one. I am using Nubar Lemon Sherbert as the base. Put on Nail Vinyls and painted the four boxes with Orly Fresh, China Glaze Tart-y For The Party, Essence Snow White Grumpy and Powder Perfect With My High Heels On.

The edges were not completely straight, but I like the fact that it almost became a little blurred effect. It's a Happy manicure anyway.

Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Zoya Blaze

Välkomna till ännu en lördag med Läsarnas Val hos mig. Jag måste säga att jag ser fram emot lördagarna. Älskar ju statistik och det här med att kolla ställningen i omröstningen är en sån sak som jag tycker är löjligt kul.

Just idag får jag ju dessutom visa er en liten juvel i min samling för det var Zoya Blaze som vann förra veckans omröstning. Kollektionen som det här kom ifrån heter Ornate och är fylld av vackra lack. Bra mycket roligare än vad Zoya presterade till årets julkollektion enligt mig i alla fall.

Blaze är mer rödaktigt i verkligheten än vad som syns på bilderna. Det prismatiska glittret visar det nästan lite åt magentahållet. Jag har två lager på och Seche över det.

Jag har burit det här lacket i tre dagar och skulle kunna fortsätta ha det på längre än så utan problem. Vackert och bra hållbarhet. Bra kombo :)

Welcome to another Saturday with Reader's Choice here at Lacky Corner. I must say that I look forward to Saturdays. I'm a big lover of statistics and checking the status of the poll is a thing that I think is ridiculous fun.

Today I get the pleasure of showing you a little jewel in my collection because it's Zoya Blaze who won last week's poll. The collection this came from is called Ornate and is filled with beautiful polishes. A lot more fun than Zoya performed at this year's Christmas collection according to me, anyway.

Blaze is more reddish in real life than what is seen in the pictures. The prismatic glitter makes it look almost a little to the magenta side. I have two coats and Seche over it.

I have been wearing this polish for three days and could continue to have it on longer than that without problems. Beautiful and good durability. Good combo :)

Winter Nail Art Challenge

Lägger ut det här inlägget igen då jag känner att jag gärna vill att vi blir fler som kommer delta.

Tiden går vansinnigt fort mina vänner och snart så är vi inne i December. Förra året deltog jag i en kul Nail Art Challenge med jultema och eftersom jag inte hittade något liknande som var lagom mycket så bestämde jag mig för att skapa ett eget Winter Nail Art Challenge.

Den här lilla utmaningen kommer att vara två dagar i veckan med bestämda teman. Som vanligt kommer det finnas Inlinkz så vi alla kan dela med oss av våra manikyrer.

I'm publishing this post again since I really want us to be many that participates. 

Time flies so fast my friends and soon December is upon us. I participated in a fun Nail Art Challenge last December and when I couldn't find anything similar this year I decided to create my own Winter Nail Art Challenge. 

This little challenge will run two days a week with different themes each day. As usuall there will be Inlinkz so that we all can share our manicures.

Ellagee - Shake A Poor Sinners Hand

Äntligen fredag och det innebär Skimmerskuggans Holofredag!

Och idag visar jag ett lack som jag verkligen gillar. Det första Ellagee lacket jag testar dessutom. Det här är Shake A Poor Sinners Hand ett underbart mörkt lila lack med en fin holoeffekt i sig.

Det är ju alltid kul att testa nya märken och när det dessutom är smidigt att måla med och täcker utan problem på två lager med bra torktid, ja då är det extra kul tycker jag. Ett lager med Seche har jag på också.

Känns ju skönt att efter visat en del lack som fick svalare bemötande av mig i veckan få visa ett som jag verkligen tycker om. Älskar ju den här typen av färger.

Finally Friday and that means Skimmerskuggans Holofriday!

And today I show a polish that I really like. And also my first Ellagee polish. This is Shake A Poor Sinners Hand a wonderful dark purple polish with a fine holoeffect.

It's always fun to try new brands and when it's also easy to paint with and covers without problems in two layers with good drying time, well then it's pretty cool I think. I have a layer of Seche over as well.

It feels nice to show a polish that I really like after some polish that got cooler responses from me earlier this week. I Love this type of colors.
