Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Orly Space Cadet

Idag blir det en klassiker. Ni valde Orly Space Cadet som veckans läsarnas val. Ett duokromt lack som kom innan det fanns en hel uppsjö av denna typen av lack på marknaden. Och dessutom ett lack som håller än. Jag tycker det här har åldrats med stil. Det tillhör Cosmic FX kollektionen från 2010.

Space Cadet skiftar mellan guld och lila. Relativt tydliga skiftningar. Man kan ju inte annat än tycka att det är vackert. Ett superfint lack, det enda jag inte gillar är att det är aningen skirt. Jag har fyra lager på för att få full täckning på det. Torktiden var helt normal och över det hela har jag ett lager av Insta-Dri.

Gillar jag det här då? Absolut gör jag det även om jag hade för mig att det var mer lila än vad det är. Det är ett vackert lack som jag är glad att jag har i min samling. Skulle gärna ha mer från den kollektionen måste jag säga.

Den här gången har min något febrige son valt ut tre lack i färgen grönt för er att rösta på.

Today you will get swatches of  a classic polish. You chose Orly Space Cadet for this week's readers' choice. A duochrome polish that came out before there was a whole bunch of this type of polishes on the market. And also a polish that still stands up to the competition. I think this has aged with style. It belongs to the Cosmic FX collection from 2010. 

Space Cadet shifts between gold and purple. Relatively clear shades. One can not but think that it is beautiful. A super nice polish the only thing I don't like is that it is slightly sheer. I have four layers on four full coverage. The drying time was completely normal and above it all, I have a coat of Insta-Dri. 

Do I like it then? Absolutely! Even if I rememberd it as morme purple than it is. It is a beautiful polish that I'm glad that I have in my collection. Would love to have more from the Cosmic FX collection, I must say. 

This time my slightly feverish son has chosen three green polishes for you to vote on.

OPI - Care To Danse?

Ibland är det bara väldigt skönt att ha något neutralt och enkelt på naglarna. Ett lack som jag ständigt återkommer till vid sådana tillfällen är OPI Care To Danse? Det här lacket är ett skirt något lite lila tonat lack som absolut inte är tänkt att bli täckande på egen hand. Nej, tanken är att det mer ska se ut som välvårdade naturella naglar.

Jag har valt att lägga tre lager vilket då gör att det ändå syns ganska väl att jag har lack på, men det är ju självklart upp till var och en hur mycket man vill att det ska synas. Det är lite knepigt att få det här jämt kräver lite teknik faktiskt. Jag har ett lager med Poshe över också vilket gör att det jämnar ut sig lite.

Jag tycker verkligen att det är fint med den här typen av lack och definitivt en typ av lack som nästan är ett måste att ha i sin samling. Det är ju inte vid alla tillfällen som man kan ha färgglada lack på naglarna och då kommer det här väl till pass.

Har ni något liknande favoritlack?

Sometimes it's just really nice to have something neutral and soft looking on the nails. A polish that I continually return to on such occasions is OPI Care to Danse? This polish is a sheer slightly purple toned tinted polish that is absolutely not meant to be opaque on its own. No, the idea is that it should look more like well-groomed natural looking nails. 

I have chosen to put three layers on, the polish then get pretty visuable on the nails, but that's obviously up to each one how much you want it to appear. It's a little tricky to get this even it requires a little technique actually. I have a layer of Poshe over too which makes it evens out a bit. 

I really like this this kid of polishes and I do think it's a must to have at least one polish in your stash like this. It's not at all times that you can have colorful polishes on the nails and then this comes handy.

Purple Flowers

Ett av mina favoritlack när det gäller krämlack är det mörkt lila Honk If You Love OPI eller Auberginfärgat kanske man ska säga och när jag såg att OPI hade en tävling där man skulle visa lila manikyrer kunde jag ju inte låta bli att plocka fram det och fixa till en lila accentnagel för att piffa upp det hela.

HIYLO är krämlack när det är som bäst. Mycket lätt att applicera. Man behöver inte mer än två lager för täckning och det torkar bra. Ja, och så är ju färgen väldigt fin och det känns perfekt nu till hösten.

Accentnageln är gjord med hjälp av en vit bas bestående av Zoya Purity ett mönster från Infinyt Nails stamping platta 42 och färgerna är Mentality Purple, Red-Purple & Green från deras Glass art collection. Över alltihipa har jag Insta-Dri.

Det är verkligen kanonkul att göra den här typen av accentnaglar tycker jag. Dessutom blir det ju riktigt fint.

One of my favorite polish when it comes to cream polish is the dark purple Honk If You Love OPI or maybe I should say Aubergine colored and when I saw that OPI had a contest where you should do purple manicures, I definitly felt like doing something with this polish and a purple accent nail to spruce up the whole thing. 

HIYLO is cremes at it's best. Very easy to apply. One does not need more than two coats for coverage and it dries well. Yes, and then of course the color is very nice and it feels perfect now for the fall. 

The Accent nail is made using a white base consisting of Zoya Purity a pattern from Infinyt Nail stamping plate 42 and the colors are Mentality Purple, Red-Purple & Green from their Glass Art collection. And to finish it all a layer of Insta-Dri. 

It really is a blast to do this type of accent nails I think. Moreover, it is of course quite nicely looking. 

CrowsToes - An Edgy Ocean Dream

Tisdag, inte min favoritdag på veckan kan jag meddela. Men den går väl som vanligt fort och så är det snart onsdag!

Idag ska jag visa er ett speciellt lack. Speciellt för att det är custom made för Edgy Polish. Lacket heter An Edgy Ocean Dream och kommer från CrowsToes. På Edgys sida beskrivs det som Aqua färgat med holo och det stämmer ju bra tycker jag. Dessutom är det guldflakes i det. Färgen är väldigt fin och dessutom är det smidigt att lacka med.

Jag har tre lager på. Torktiden är helt normal. Kanske hade det räckt med två lager, men jag var lite osäker så det blev tre i alla fall. Över detta har jag Insta-Dri.

Det här gillar jag. Färgen är fin och det är en väldigt fin lyster i lacket.

Tuesday, not my favorite day of the week, I can tell. But it usually goes pretty fast and it's soon Wednesday! 

Today I'll show you a special polish. Special because it's custom made for Edgy Polish. The polish is called An Edgy Ocean Dream and is from CrowsToes. On Edgys page it is described as Aqua colored with holo and I think that describes it pretty well.. Furthermore it has goldflakes in it. The color is very nice and it's also easy to paint with. 

I have three coats on. The drying time is completely normal. Perhaps it would have been enough with two coats, but I was a little unsure so a third went on. Over this I have Insta-Dri. 

I like this. The color is nice and it's a very nice depth in the polish.

China Glaze - City Siren

Lack i den här färgen är något som alla borde ha och själv har jag ingen problem med att ha flaskor av olika märken med ungefär samma nyans, för det är ju bara så snyggt med en klassisk röd.

Just det här är lite mörkare och nästan lite vampigt. Helt underbar färg helt enkelt. Lacket är City Siren från China Glaze. Det här lacket kommer från deras Metro kollektion från 2011.

Lacket var lättarbetat och täcker på två lager. Jag har ett lager Poshé över också.

Polishes in this color is something that everyone should have and I myself have no problem with having bottles of various brands with approximately the same hue, because it's just so neat with a classic red. 

This one is a bit darker red and almost a little vampy. It's simply absolutely gorgeous. The polish is City Siren from China Glaze. This polish is from their Metro collection from 2011. 

The polish was easy to work with and covers in two layers. I have a layer of Poshe too.
