Läsarnas Val / Readers Choice! - Sensinity no 45 Té Verde

Ett sent inlägg idag igen. Tog en liten utflykt med mannen, ena barnet och min mamma till Linnés Råshult som ligger inte så långt ifrån där vi bor. Har aldrig varit där förut, men det var helt klart värt en liten utflykt. Härligt väder god hemlagad mat gjord på lokala råvaror och trevligt sällskap är ju aldrig fel.

Förra veckan så röstade ni fram Sensinity som har nummer 45 och doften heter Té Verde som veckans lack. Ett av lacken jag fick i födelsedagspresent och ett neonlack kändes väldigt rätt idag tycker jag. Problemet är att jag struntade i att måla på det innan vi åkte och när jag väl skulle fota var det lite väl mycket kvällssol så det var lite svårt att få bra bilder. Jag upplever det nog lite mörkare i verkligheten.

Jag har kollat på det här lacket på andra bloggar och kommit underfund med att det bästa är nog att grunda med vitt lack under vilket jag gjorde. Det är nog så att färgen poppar upp lite extra i och med detta. För färgen är det absolut inget fel på. En härligt neonig grön, men äkta neon är väl tveksamt. Det torkar inte matt i alla fall.

Problemet som jag ser med det här är att det var skirt så även efter tre lager så kändes det som att det vita faktiskt fortfarande sken igenom lite grann och gjorde det hela lite strimmigt. Nu blev ju det här mycket bättre med ett lager Seche på toppen, men det stör mig lite. Sen är det ju också ett doftlack. Jag har faktiskt ingen aning om vad det ska dofta och att måla när man har en riktigt skön huvudvärk sen innan kanske inte var det ultimata. Nu när det suttit på naglarna en stund tycker jag att det är en helt ok doft. Lite konstgjort äpple liksom.

A late post today again. Took a little trip with the husband, one of the kids and my mother to Carl Von Linnés birthplace Råshult located not so far from where we live. I've never been there before, but it was totally worth a little excursion. Beautiful weather good homemade food made from local produced vegtebles and great company is never wrong.

Last week you voted Sensinity no 45 with the sent Té Verde to be swatch for this week. One of the polishes I got as a birthday present and a neon polish is always right in the summer. The problem is that I didn't care to paint this before we went, and when I would take the pictures, it was a little too much evening sun so it was a bit difficult to get good pictures. I feel it is probably a little darker in reality.

I've looked at this polish on other blogs and found out that the best is to paint with it over a white base. So I did that. The color pops out a bit more that way. The color is absolutely nothing wrong with. A wonderfully neonish green, but genuine neon is doubtful. It does not dry matte, anyway.

The problem I see with this is that it was sheer so even after three coats it felt like the white actually still shine through a little and made ​​it all a bit streaky. Now,  it did get better with a coat of Seche on top, but it bothers me a bit. And then it's also a scented varnish. I actually have no idea what it supposed to smell like and painting when you have a really nice headache since before maybe was the wrong thing to do. Now that it sat on my nails for a while, I think it is an ok scent. A little artificial apple kind of.

Holofredag med A-England Rose Bower

Ett ganska så sent inlägg blidde det idag. Själv har jag och en kär vän varit på Make Up Store på sminkkurs. Trodde nog aldrig att jag skulle sitta med röd ögonskugga och faktiskt tycka att det ser riktigt snyggt ut på mig själv. Fast som vanligt blir man nedtagen på jorden rätt fort när man kommer hem och yngsta sonen blänger på mig och säger att jag ser läskig ut! Nåja, vi hade kul i alla fall.

Något annat som jag tyckte var väldigt kul var att måla med A-England Rose Bower som jag har på naglarna idag. Som vanligt på ett A-England lack så var formulan alldeles utmärkt. I mitt tycke i alla fall. Jag gillar ju både den något tjockare formulan och borsten på dom här. Två lager med bra torktid är vad jag har på. På bilderna ser ni dessutom lacket utan topplack.

Rose Bower är ett rött lack med ganska mycket dragning åt rosa, men där finns även lite lila i det. Först när jag fick det på naglarna tyckte jag det kändes för ljust och lite för rosatonat, men det gick fort om. Tycker det här är väldigt fint och visst är det holografiskt även om det inte är det som framkommer mest i lacket. Efter att ha haft det på större delen av dagen så kan jag konstatera att det är ett mycket vackert lack. Ett som jag är glad att jag har i mina ägor. A quite as late posts from me today. Me and a dear friend has been at Make Up Store on a makeup course. I don't think I ever would have imagined myself with red eye shadow and actually think it looks really nice on. Though, as usual, I was taken down to earth pretty quickly when I got home and the youngest son stared at me and said that I look scary! Oh well, we had fun anyway.

Something else that I thought was really fun was to paint with A-England Rose Bower that I have on my nails today. As usual with the A-England polishes the formula was perfect. In my opinion anyway. I do like both the slightly thicker formula and the brush on these. Two layers with good drying time is what I have on. In the pictures you can see the polish without topcoat.

Rose Bower is a red polish with pretty much hint of pink, but there are also some purple in it. At first when I got it on my nails, I thought it felt too bright and a little too pink toned, but I quickly changed my mind. I think this is very nice and it there certainly is some holographic effect in it even though it's not that strong. Having had it on for most of the day I can honestly say that it is a very beautiful polish. One that I am glad that I have in my stash. Dollish Polish - It's a me Mario!

Dags för att vissa ännu ett lack från Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros. kollektionen. Den här gången föll valet på It's a me Mario av den enkla anledningen att det stämde så himla väl ihop med Essie Aruba Blue som redan satt på naglarna.

Mario består av rött och blått glitter i olika storlekar och prismatiska stjärnor. Småglittren följde med utan problem på penseln och spred ut sig bra, stjärnorna däremot dom fick man fiska efter i flaskan. Men så är det ju i princip alltid med lite större glitter kan jag känna. Dessutom så tycker jag att det blir snyggare med inta allt för många av stjärnorna, men några stycken förhöjer lacket.

Det här får mig osökt att tänka på Mario Party spelen som gått varma i det här huset. Där ska man ju samla stjärnor fast roligast är när man snor dom från någon annan spelare!

I alla fall så störtgillar jag det här lacket. Färgkombon är superfin och just över Aruba Blue så blev det en riktigt hit måste jag säga. Jag tog två lager av Mario och avslutade med Seche över det hela. Säga vad man vill om Seche, men till glitterlack är det suveränt för bättre glans kan man inte få med något annat topplack.

Bland oss bloggare verkar det finnas väldigt mycket kattälskare och jag har vid ett par tillfällen nämnt i kommentarer hos andra och även här att vi haft katter och att jag saknar dom väldigt mycket så idag tänkte jag att ni skulle få se hur våra små pälsbollar såg ut. Eller ser ut för Sten (den gråa) är fortfarande i livet och mår finfint. Sally däremot förstod inte att alla bilarna ute på vägen inte var snälla utan blev överkörd bara en vecka efter hon flyttat till sitt nya hem. Vi kunde tyvärr inte ha kvar dom då vi till slut insåg att det var dom som gjorde vår son sjuk hela tiden.

Time for another polish from Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros. collection. This time the choice fell on It's a me Mario! for the simple reason that it seemed to be working out well with Essie Aruba Blue that I already had on the nails.

Mario is composed of red and blue glitter in various sizes and prismatic stars. The smaller glitter was no problem applying the came up nicely on the brush and spread out well, the stars, however, you had to fish for in the bottle. But then it's almost always like that with those bigger glitters at least that is what I think. Anyway, I think it looks better when you don't have too many of the stars, but a few pieces enhances the polish.

This made me think of  the Mario Party games that has been played lots and lots of times in this house. You know in that you're suppose to collect stars, but the best part is when you steal them from other players! Yes, I am a mean one!

In all cases I really love this polish.  The color combo is super-fine and over Aruba Blue it became a real hit, I must say. I took two layers of Mario and finished with Seche over it. You can say what you want about Seche, but over glitter paint it's the best, you can't get that shine with any other topcoat.

Among us bloggers there also seems to be a lot of cat lovers and I have on a few occasions mentioned in comments on others blogs, and here as well that we had cats and that I miss them very much so today, I thought you'd get to see how our little fur balls looked . Or look for Sten (the gray one) is still alive and doing just fine. Sally however, did not understand that all the cars on the road was not kind but was run over just a week after she moved to her new home. I'm sad that we could not keep them, but we finally realized that it was them who made our son sick all the time. 

Essie - Aruba Blue

Ibland känns det bra dumt att ha väntat länge med att använda ett visst lack. Just det här lacket är ett sånt. Anledningen är att jag fick det här i julklapp av yngsta grabben! Hur kan jag vara så taskig att jag låter något som han valt ut på alldeles egen hand bara stå ända tills Augusti? Och när det dessutom är så himla fint som det här är?

Essie Aruba Blue ett helt ljuvligt blått skimmer lack. Något lite frostigt torkar det faktiskt, men med ett bra topplack som t.ex Seche som jag tog på så blir det helt fantastiskt fint. Två lager med en riktigt bra formula och i mitt var det den breda Essie penslen. Det ni ser på bilderna är som det blev helt utan någon städning. Alltså trivdes jag med både pensel och formula.

Kan också tillägga att det här var skitsnyggt till korta vita linnebyxor och ett kornblått linne. Idag får ni också en liten extra bild från min ampel som hänger vid vårt uterum.

Sometimes it feels rather silly to have waited a long time to use a certain polish. This particular polish is one of those. The reason is that I got this as a Christmas gift from my youngest son! How can I be so mean to let this stand so long. He picked this out all by himself and I have waited to use it until now! And for no reason because I really love this shade. 

Essie Aruba Blue an absolutely adorable blue shimmer paint. Dries a bit frosty but nothing that shows with a good top coat on top. I used Seche and the result is amazing! Two layers with a really good formula and with the wider Essie brush that I like a lot.  What you see in the pictures is what it looked like after application. Absolutely no cleaning up was needed. So I'm very pleased with both brush and formula.

Can also tell you that this looked great to white linen trousers and a cornflower blue top. Today, you also get a little extra picture from my hanging basket.

Mentality - Eeny Stamping

Nästan alla bilder jag sett med det här lacket som stamping lack har varit på en mörk bakgrund så just därför var jag ju givetvis tvungen att testa på något ljust istället.

Den här gången tog jag Zoya Purity som bas. Ett vitt krämlack. Eeny är svagt duokromt det är guldigt och rosaaktigt och jag blev lite överraskande sugen på en riktigt flickig manikyr. Så fram med Bundle Monster platta BM314 och lite blommor (igen). Motivet var faktiskt lite knepigt att få upp på stämpeln. Och jag är rätt säker på att det inte har med lacket att göra, för det kändes precis som de andra Mentality lacken väldigt bra att jobba med. 

Resultatet blev en manikyr som får mig att tänka på bröllop. En krispig, skir och feminin manikyr som jag mycket väl skulle kunna se på en brud. 

Almost all the pictures I've seen with this polish used for stamping has been on a dark background so just because that I was curious to se how it would look over a lighter background.

This time I took Zoya Purity as the base. A white cream polish. Eeny is slightly duochrome it shifts between gold and pink. I was a little surprisingly craving a really girly manicure. So I found a pattern on a Bundle Monster plate (BM314) with flowers (again). The design was actually a bit tricky to get up on the stamp. And I'm pretty sure that it does not have to do with the polish, it felt just like the other Mentality stamping polishes, very good to work with.

The result was a manicure that makes me think of weddings. A crisp, sheer and feminine manicure that I could very well see on a bride.
