Att hålla på med stamping är fantastiskt roligt och ger dig möjligheten till att förändra din manikyr i det oändliga.
Idag tänkte jag inte precis visa hur du får mönstret över till nageln utan snarare hur man kan göra om man har problem med sina stämplar. All den här informationen är sådan som jag fått av mer erfarna stämplare via olika forum på nätet. Det finns oändligt massa hjälp att få bl.a på You Tube.
Alla dom här tre som jag visar idag har jag fått från Edgy Polish. Katarina ville att jag skulle testa hur dom funkade.

I won't show you how to get the pattern on to your nails today but more how to get your stamper to work. All the information that I give to you today is tips I've gotten from much more experienced stampers in different forums on net. If you want to learn more just search You Tube there are endless information there.
All these stampers that I will show you today has been sent to me from Edgy Polish. Katarina wanted me to try them out.
Som ni ser så är dom här stämplarna dels olika stora. Två av dom har dubbla sidor. De två vita är av silikon och den röda är av gummi. Och helt uppenbart så är två runda och en rektangulär. Vilket man föredrar är väldigt individuellt, men jag skulle nog ändå säga att är du helt ny på stamping så känner jag att den i gummi. Alltså den med rosa skaft är något enklare att jobba med.
Den vita i silikon är också ganska mycket större än de andra. De med två ändar har olika storlekar på de två stämpeldynorna.
As you can see these different stampers have different sizes. Two of them has dubble sides. The white ones are of Silicon and the red one is rubber. And it's also obvious that one is not round. Which one you prefer is very individually, but I would say that if you are completely new to stamping the rubber one is what I would recomend.
The white in silicon is also pretty much larger than the others. Those with dubble sides have two different sizes on the stamps.
På bilderna här ovan ser ni också några olikheter mellan de här stämplarna. Den röda är ganska fast och de andra är vad man kallar squishy alltså mjukare. Återigen är det inte någon som egentligen är bättre än den andra utan en smaksak och vanesak.
Skraporna som kommer med till dom här är också olika. Den som följer med gummistämpeln har en metallkant och den andra är helt i plast. Bägge är bra, men den helt i plast skonar plattorna mycket mer.
On the pictures above you can see that there are differences in the stampers when it comes to firmness. The red rubber one is very firm while the other two are what is called squishy or soft. Again I can't really say that any of them is better than the other. It's a question of taste and habitual.
The scrapers are as you can see also a bit different from each other. One has a metalledge and the other is plastic. Both is good but the plastic one keeps the plates without scratches.
Ok, då var dags att testa hur stämplarna verkligen funkar. Jag har Mundo De Unas färg som jag skrapar ut över mönstret och ja det är ok att det ser ut som att all färg inte skulle vara borta. Ibland kan man också testa med en annan färg eller bricka för att se om det blir annorlunda.
Låt oss först testa hur dom tre funkar helt utan att ha rengjort med någonting.
Ok, then it's time to try how these stampers really work. I have Mundo De Unas color that I scrape over the pattern. And yes it is ok that it looks like all extra color hasen't been removed. Sometimes you can also try with another color or plate to see if it makes a difference.
Let us first try how they work without any cleaning or priming.
Jaha, det gick ju sådär faktiskt. Den enda som plockade upp motivet utan problem var den röda. Det är nu man kanske tänker att vilken skitstämpel den här kommer jag aldrig att använda igen, men vänta ska ni få se.
Ok, that didn't go so well. The only one that picked up the pattern was the rubber one. This is the time when you probably starts cursing and saying that you will never try that stamper again. But hold on..
Låt oss först börja med att testa att rengöra med ren Aceton. Nja, lite bättre, men inte bra va!
Let us first try to clean the head with clean Aceton. Well, better but not good.
Alla vi som håller på med naglar har ju någon typ av nagelfil eller buffer. Ta fram den och slipa väldigt lätt på din stämpel. Rengör sen igen med Aceton och se där ja, nu ser det bra mycket bättre ut va! Ge alltså inte upp, det är inte du som inte kan stämpla. Det kanske bara är så enkelt att du behöver prima eller buffra upp stämpeln lite grann.
I guess we all that are into nails do own a nailfile or buffer. Use that to very gently grind against the stamper and after that you clean it again with acetone. And look it suddenly looks much better! So don't give up it's most likely not you that can't stamp but the stamper that needs some priming.
Så kommer då de sista små tipsen för att få er stämpel att funka bäst och hålla längst. När du jobbat med din stämpel och vill ta bort överskottsfärg. Gör det mot en klädvårdsrulle. Sliter mycket mindre på stämpeln än att hålla på att torka av med aceton hela tiden. Och vill man ha något riktigt bra att prima med så rekomenderas Fläcksuddare eller Magic Erasers. Fantastiskt bra till att rugga upp ytan precis lagom.
Some last advises to get your stamper to work the best and the longest. When you have placed your pattern on the nail and wants to remove the polish that is left on the stamper. Use a lint roller. Much nicer for the stamper than to use acetone all the time. And if you want something really good to prime your stamper with use Magic Eraser sponges. Awesome to make the stamper work.
