Reader's Choice - HM Russet Spice

Vi har börjat prata om vetenskapliga metoder i skolan och helt ärligt känns det inte något vidare spännande. I fredags hade vi bokseminarium på engelska, skönt att ha det gjort då det är betygsgrundande när det gäller kommunikation. Tror det gick helt ok. Nu i helgen har vi inte gjort så värst mycket. Städat huset, träffat grannarna och haft det allmänt bra.

Idag kombinerar jag läsarnas val med ytterligare en Instagram utmaning. Ni valde HM Russet Spice åt mig. Ett kopparfärgat skimmerlack. Jättebra att jobba med och det täcker på två lager. Dock bråkade jag med en av naglarna så den blev omgjord ett antal gånger. Inget som egentligen hade med lacket att göra, men bortstrå i lacket, stötte emot precis innan jag skulle fotografera etc.

Det här är så himla vackert och dessutom funkar det utmärkt att stämpla med. Jag la ett rosmönster på en av naglarna för att kunna vara med i en utmaning. Mönstret kommer från Born Pretty Store St. Valentines BP-L001 och som sagt jag har stämplat med HM Russet Spice.

Lite blandade Indielack blir det som ni kan rösta på till nästa gång.

We have started talking about scientific methods in the school and quite frankly it does not make me  feel very excited. Last Friday, we had a book seminar in English, nice to have done that since it is part of the grading in terms of communication. Think it went perfectly ok. Now this weekend we have not done so much. Cleaned up the house, met the neighbors and just enjoyed beeing home.

Today I combine the readers' choice with another Instagram challenge. You chose HM Russet Spice for me. A copper colored shimmer polish. Great to work with and it covers in two layers. However, I fought with one of the nails so it was redone a number of times. Nothing that really had to do with the polish, but brushstraws in the polish, smudged it just before I would photograph etc.

This is so beautiful and it also works excellent to stamp with. I put a rose pattern on one of the nails to be able to participate in a challenge. The pattern comes from Born Pretty Store St. Valentines BP-L001 plate and as mentioned I have stamped with HM Russet Spice.

A little mixed indie polishes is what you can vote on for next time.

Igår fick jag vara med på ett flertal patientbesök och undersökningar på min praktikplats. Så himla intressant att se vad det är man faktiskt sitter och skriver om. Sen blev det ju faktiskt riktigt bra väder. Här i Kronoberg är det eldningsförbud, men vi grillade lite korv ihop med grannarna på en alldeles vanlig grill istället, funkar ju det också. Trevligt var det i alla fall. Idag hade jag tänkt att få en massa gjort, men jag var lite trött och struntade i det. Vi har i alla fall fått igång vår lille gräsklippare för säsongen.

Jag hittade en liten utmaning på Instagram där man skulle göra manikyr med solrosor och visa idag. Jag fick för mig att jag hade vattendekaler liggande som skulle passa och mycket riktigt så hittade jag fina gula solrosor i min dekalhög. Nu behöver man ju något som matcher dessa och i Depend 7 Days senaste kollektion fanns det solgula Levels. Ett härligt gult krämlack som täcker på två lager. Inte illa för ett gult lack.

Det här påminner mig mycket om ett av mina favoriter när det gäller gula lack, nämligen My Twin Mimmy från OPI, samma härliga glada färg och jag tycker det passade väldigt fint med solrosen till.

Yesterday I participated in a number of patient visits and examinations at my internship. So very interesting to see what I'm actually are writing about. Last night the weather was actually really good. Here in Kronoberg there is a fire ban, but we barbecued some sausages together with the neighbors on an ordinary barbecue instead, it works well too. It was nice anyway. Today I was going to get a lot done, but I was a little tired and ignored that the house needs cleaing. We have in any case started our little lawn mower for the season.

I found a challenge on Instagram where you should do a manicure with sunflowers and show today. I was pretty sure that I had water decals lying around that would fit and quite rightly so I found nice yellow sunflowers in my decal heap. Now you need something that matches these and in Depend 7 Days latest collection there were the sun yellow Levels. A lovely yellow cream coat that covers in two layers. Not bad for a yellow polish.

This reminds me a lot about one of my favorites when it comes to yellow polishes, namely My Twin Mimmy from OPI, the same lovely happy color and I think it suited very well with the sunflower to.

Essie - Roses are Red

Haft en mycket bra dag på praktiken, känns verkligen som att man börjar komma in i verksamheten och man behöver inte fråga saker precis hela tiden längre. Idag skulle jag egentligen tränat, men när jag kom till gymmet så var skorna hemma, så himla typiskt. Nåja, får väl försöka få det gjort imorgon innan det blir lite valborgsfirande. 

Idag har jag haft Essie Roses are Red på mina naglar. Ett mörkrött jelly med glitter i. Det var smidigt att jobba med och täckte faktiskt på två lager. Dock blir det här ganska matt och tråkigt utan topplack, nu har jag i och för sig alltid topplack, men för dem som inte har det blir det inte något roligt faktiskt. Dessutom blir det en ganska skrovlig yta, inte som ett textur lack utan ett där glittren sticker upp. 

Färgen på det här är fantastiskt fin, men det föll mig ändå inte alls i smaken. Tror det har med den ojämna ytan att göra eller att glittren ändå drunknar lite i lacket. Inte en höjdare i mina ögon. 

I have had a very good day at my internship it really feels like I'm starting to really get to know the different assignment you get to do as a secretary at the ENT clinic and I don't have to ask about things all the time anymore. Today I should have gone to the gym, but when I got there I realized that the shoes were at home, so very typical me. Well, may well try to get it done tomorrow before there will be a little valpurgis night celebration.

Today I have had Essie Roses are Red on my nails. A dark red jelly with glitter in. It was easy to work with and actually covered in only two layers. However, this turns out pretty dull and boring without topcoat, not a big problem for me since I always have top coat, but for those who do not have it it will not be a very fun polish. The surface also was something that bother me a bit, it becomes a rather rough surface, not as a texture polish but one where the glitter sticks up.

The color of this is amazingly nice, but it didn't really hit home for me at all. Think it has to do with the uneven surface or that the sparkles still drown a little in the polish. Not a top polish in my eyes.

Reader's Choice - China Glaze Who Wonder

Vi har haft en så härlig helg! Sonen var hemma och hade lite eldshow på grannsamhällets familjedag. Vi var och tittade på en uppsättning av Aniara som Kulturskolan satte upp. Martins bäste kompis var regissör och Martin hade skrivit musiken till föreställningen. Idag har vi hälsat på och tagit en fika hos min mamma innan det var dags att återigen vinka hej då. Den här gången kändes det jobbigt, för nu vet jag inte alls när vi ses nästa gång.

Ni hade tydligen svårt att bestämma er denna veckan, för två lack hade samma antal röster. Jag valde det av dem som jag mest kände för att bära just då. Det blev China Glaze Who Wonder ett rosa glasfleck lack som skiftar lite i lila. Bra att jobba med och två lager + topplack är vad jag har.

Först fick jag för mig att det här påminde väldigt mycket om China Glaze Ahoy!, men det har inte alls den här fina lila tonen i sig. Det här lacket fick mig att bli glad, härligt vårigt lack fastän det kommer från en julkollektion.

We had such a lovely weekend! The son was at home and he had a little fire show at a family day that was arranged in the city were my husband has his company. We also went to see a theater version of Aniara that the Cultural School set up. Martin's best friend was director and Martin had written the music for the show. Today we have visited my mother before it was time to once again wave good bye at the train station. This time it felt sad, because now I do not know at all when we see each other the next time.

You obviously had a hard time determining this week, because two polishes had the same number of votes. I chose the one that I felt most like wearing from those two. It became China Glaze Who Wonder a hot pink glasfleck that changes slightly in purple. Good to work with and two layers + topcoat is what I have on.

At first I thought that this was very similar to China Glaze Ahoy !, but that does not have this nice purple tone in it. This polish made me happy, lovely springy color although it comes from a Christmas collection.

CND Vinylux - Exquisite

Det var som jag trodde, ena glaset var lite fel optiskt sett, jag är alltså inte galen utan ser faktiskt suddigt! Rätt skönt att få bekräftelse på. Något som också var skönt var att gå en liten stund tidigare från skolan för att ta mig till optikern. Det där med att sitta i en datasal och traggla excel en hel dag är rätt jobbigt faktiskt.

Idag får ni se ett av lacken från CND Vinylux vårkollektion. Det här heter Exquisite och har en mysig vaniljsåsgul färg. Jag trodde först att jag skulle behöva tre lager, men två visade sig räcka. Så två plus topplack har jag på bilderna.

Jag tycker oväntat mycket om det här lacket. Färgen är så mjuk och len och jag blir sjukt sugen på äppelpaj med vaniljsås.

It was as I thought, one glass was a bit wrong optically, so I'm not crazy, the glasses made me see blurry! Right to receive confirmation. Something that was also nice was to go a little earlier from school to go to the optician. Sitting a whole dayg in a computer room working with excel is pretty hard indeed.

Today you will see one of the polishes from CND Vinylux spring collection. This is called Exquisite and has a cozy custard color. At first I thought I would need three layers, but two turned out to be enough. So two plus topcoat is what I have in the pictures.

I like this unexpectedly much. The color is so soft and smooth and I get sickly hungry for apple pie with custard.
