Polar Bear

Dags för ännu en utmaning från @glamnailschallenge och idag är det isbjörn som är temat. Jag passar även på att använda denna i Nail Challenge Collaboratives blåa månad.

Och se på fasiken om inte jag har gjort lite frihands nail art igen. Inget avancerat men en gullig liten isbjörn och lite dotticure blev det allt.

Det jag använt mig av är CND Creative Play Denim Date, Zoya Purity, A-England Camelot och Essie Frock n' Roll.

Today there is another challenge from @glamnailschallenge and the theme is polar bear. I'm also using this manicure for this months blue theme in Nail Challenge Collaborative.

And I've done another freehand nail art manciure! Nothing advanced but a cute little polar bear and a little dotticure.

What I used for this is CND Creative Play Denim Date, Zoya Purity, A-England Camelot and Essie Frock n' Roll.

Vilken härlig helg det blev med mycket skratt och brädspel. Igår åkte äldste sonen hem igen och kvällen avslutades med ett överraskningsbesök hos min vän som fyllde 50 år. Lite smörgåstårta och ännu mer skratt är ju aldrig fel.

Idag vräker snön ner utanför fönstret så jag är glad att jag inte behöver ut och köra i alla fall. Ägnar mig åt att blogga lite istället.

Just nu har jag CND Creative Play Denim Date på naglarna. Det perfekta jeansblåa krämlacket faktiskt. Suveränt att jobba med och jag tror nog att man kan ha ett lager, men jag slarvade lite så jag har två lager och topplack på bilderna. Riktigt bra torktid också.

Det här är snyggt! Jag är en jeanstjej och lacket tilltalar mig väldigt mycket. Snygg färg och passar vid alla tillfällen enligt mig.

What a great weekend it has been with a lot of laughter and board games. Yesterday the eldest son returned to his home again and the evening ended with a surprise visit to my friend who turned 50 years old. Some food and even more laughter is never wrong.

Today the snow is falling outside the window so I'm glad I don't need to drive anywhere. I'm spending some time blogging instead.

Right now, I have CND Creative Play Denim Date on the nails. The perfect jeans blue cream polish according to me. Great to work with and I probably think that you can have only one layer of it, but I've got two layers and topcoat in the pictures. Really good drying time too.

This is nice! I'm a jeans girl and this polish is pretty perfect to me.  Nice color and I do think that you could wear this on all types of occasions.

Silver

Dagens tema i @glamnailschallenge är silver och jag hade en bra idé som jag inte riktigt tycker blev som jag tänkt mig, men ändå rätt ok.

Jag har kvar Depend 537 som bas, men valde att lägga A-Englanc Excalibur som en accentnagel och även använda det lacket till att stämpla med. Mönstret kommer från Lina Winter 01.

Med facit i hand så skulle jag valt ett något lite tätare mönster. Jag tror det kanske blivit snyggare, men det här funkar väl.

Today's theme in @glamnailschallenge is silver and I had a good idea that I didn't really think turned out the way I thought, but still okay.

I have Depend 537 as a base, but chose to add A-Englanc Excalibur as an accent nail and also use that polish to stamp with. The pattern comes from Lina Winter 01.

If I had thought a bit longer, I would choose a slightly tighter pattern. I think that would have looked nicer, but this works too.

Reader's Choice: Different Dimension And All I Loved, I Loved Alone

Äldste sonen är hemma på besök och vi har haft en fight i Monopol på förmiddagen. Nu smet han iväg en stund och jag passar på att skriva lite inlägg istället.

Denna veckas läsarnas val är Different Dimenson And All I Love, I Love Alone. Ett pumpa orange hololack med guld flakies i. Riktigt bra att jobba med och två lager räcker gott. Torktiden är snabb. På bilderna har jag topplack över. 

Jag tycker det här är riktigt fint, men i ärlighetens namn är jag inte helt sugen på att bära orange just nu. Jag är nog fortfarande inne på lite mörkare färger, men samtidigt så börjar vårlacken dyka upp så jag ändrar mig nog snart. Plus att jag faktiskt tycker att den här typen av färg är snyggare på längre naglar. Lacket i sig är som sagt mycket vackert och jag vill gärna testa det här igen när solen tittar fram lite mer. 

Sonen har valt tre kalenderlack för er att rösta på tills nästa vecka. 

The oldest son is home on a visit and we have had a monopoly battle this morning. Now he went to see some friends and will try to write some blogposts.

This week's readers' choice is Different Dimenson and All I Love, I Love Alone. A pumpkin orange holo with gold flakies in. Really good to work with and two layers are enough. The drying time is fast. In the pictures I have topcoat over.

I think this is really nice, but to be honest,  I'm not really into wearing orange right now. I still crave for a bit darker colors, but at the same time all the spring collections is starting to show up so I think I will change my mind soon. And the other thing is that I do think that this type of color is looking better on slightly longer nails. The polish is very beautiful and I would like to try it again when the sun shows up a bit more.

My youngest son has chosen three calendar polishes for you to vote for to next weeks poll.

Jaha, då börjar vi nya nagelåret med att bryta en nagel riktigt långt ner. Har försökt att laga, men lagningen gick sönder då jag gick och plockade undan julsaker och så mycket att det inte fanns något att göra.

Så nu får ni stubbisar ett tag. Något lite ojämna i längd också eftersom jag inte kunde klippa ner de andra riktigt så långt. Gör så ont att klippa i skinnet...

Men i alla fall så tycker jag att mörka lack gör sig väldigt bra på korta naglar så därför plockade jag fram en snygging från Depends höstkollektion Club Style. Nummer 537 är ett mörkt blågrått krämlack. Två lager räcker och så har jag topplack över.

Något som är lite konstigt med det här lacket är att det verkar bubbla sig lite när man lägger på topplack. Grejen är den att jag hade målat med det här innan jag bröt av nageln. La på topplack, fotade, men dissade bilderna för att jag tyckte det var för mycket bubblor i lacket. Bytte topplack till en helt ny flaska nu när jag målade om, men ser att även nu är det bubblor. Synd, för det här lacket har verkligen en mycket trivsam färg tycker jag. Jag använde HK Girl som topplack, kan vara att det funkar bättre med något annat.

Well, why not start the new nail year by breaking a nail really far down. I have tried to repair it, but the repair broke down when I was cleaning out Christmas and so much that there was nothing to do about it. 

So now you get nubbies for a while. Somewhat uneven in length, too, because I could not cut down the others really so far. Hurt to cut in the skin ...

But in any case, I think dark polishes looks really good on short nails so I picked a nice one from Depend's autumn collection Club Style. Number 537 is a dark blue-gray creamcoat. Two layers are enough and I have topcoat over.

There is something strange about this polish because it seems like it turns out bubbles in it when applying a topcoat. The thing is that I had painted this before I broke the nail. I applied the topcoat and took my photos, but dismissed those pictures because I thought there were too many bubbles in the polish. I replaced the topcoat with a whole new bottle this time painting, but I realize that it didn't make a difference. There is bubbles now too. Too bad, because this polish really has a very nice color I think. I used HK Girl as a topcoat, it may be that it works better with something else.
