Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Autumn #2

Jag tyckte att gårdagens Gingerbread Disaster skulle göra sig utmärkt som grund till lite höstmanikyr. Nyligen fick jag hem Über Chic Lovely Leaves 2 och på den hittade jag ett utmärkt mönster som jag har stämplat med Hit The Bottle Be-Cider-Self.

Det här blev enligt mig en riktigt bra manikyr som passar perfekt in på Nail Challenge Collaboratives hösttema.

I thought yesterday's Gingerbread Disaster would be great as a base for a autumn manicure. Recently I got the Über Chic Lovely Leaves 2 plate and on that I found an excellent pattern that I have stamped with Hit The Bottle Be-Cider-Self.

In my opinion, this turned out really good and a manicure that fits perfectly into the Nail Challenge Collaborative Autumn theme.

Häromdagen dök Depend 7 Days julkollektion ner i min brevlåda vilket fick mig att tänka att det var dags att visa resterande av förra årets kollektion. Jag har fyra kvar från den. Eller nu är det ju bara tre för jag visar ju ett idag!

Det här Gingerbrad Disaster och jag måste ju på en gång säga att det här lacket är långt ifrån någon katastrof. Absolut inte. Det är riktigt snyggt och ett lite annorlunda lack tycker jag. Grundfärgen är brunt, men sen finns det rött glitter och något som jag först trodde var silverskimmer, men på naglarna ser det ut att vara guldskimmer. Två eller tre lager är lagom. Jag har tre och topplack över på bilderna.

Men hörrni det här lacket är ju helt fantastiskt snyggt och jag är helt säker på att jag inte har något liknande i min samling. Älskar det!

The other day I got this years chrismas collection from Depend 7 Days in my mailbox, which made me think it was time to show the rest of last year's collection. I have four left from it. Or now it's only three because I'll show one today!

This is Gingerbread Disaster and I must say at once that this polish is far from any disaster. Absolutely not. It's really nice and I think almost a unique polish. The primary color is brown, but then there are red glitters and something that I thought was silver shimmer,  but on the nails it appears to be gold shimmer. Two or three layers are what you need. I have three and  top coat over in the pictures.

This polish is absolutely amazing and I'm absolutely sure I don't have anything similar in my collection. I love it!

CND Vinylux - Viridian Veil

Jag har påbörjat ett jätteprojekt! Min pappa var en flitig amatörfotograf, när han dog för över 16 år sedan lämnade han ett jättebildarkiv efter sig, men i form av diabilder. Dom där har stått i min garderob och sorgligt nog kan jag säga att jag kanske tagit fram projektorn en eller två gånger på de här åren. Nu har jag skaffat grejer så bilderna ska skannas in och kunna njutas av på dator eller tv eller kanske framkallas. Vi pratar om en sisådär 20-25000 bilder så jag har att göra.

Men idag är det grön onsdag hos Karin på Vacker & Underbar och självklart vill jag vara med. Lacket jag visar kommer från CND Vinylux Nightspell kollektion och jag hoppas att ni inte missat att man kan vinna hela den kollektionen här hos mig. Det inlägget hittar ni här! 

Viridian Veil är ett tealfärgat metalliclack. Riktigt bra att måla med och ett lager kan nog räcka på korta naglar. På bilderna har jag två och topplack. Man får vara lite petig när man målar så man får raka fina linjer för det blir lite borstmärken, men dock inte alls lika tydliga i verkligheten som på mina bilder. 

Det här tycker  jag är en riktigt vacker färg som absolut funkar året om. Jag tänker mot härliga höstlöv, gnistrande snö, mot en vacker vårhimmel och så klart vid poolen på sommaren.

I have started a massive but fun project! My dad was a diligent amateur photographer, when he died more than 16 years ago, he left a huge archive with images, but in the form of slides. Those have since then sadly been stored in one of my closets and I can honestly say that I might have taken out that slideprojector only once or twice these years. Now I have bought equipment to scan the pictures  so that we can enjoye them on a computer or tv or even make papercopies. We are talking about 20-25000 photos so I have some work to do.

But today it's Green Wednesday at Vacker & Underbar and of course I want to join. The polish I show comes from the CND Vinylux Nightspell collection and I hope you haven't missed that you have the chanse to win the entire collection. You can find that post here!

Viridian Veil is a teal-colored metal polish. Really good to paint with and one coat may be enough on short nails. In the pictures I have two and topcoat. You should be a bit careful when painting so that your brushstrokes makes straight nice lines because there are some brush marks, but not as clear in reality as in my pictures.

This I think is a really beautiful color that definitely works all year long. I am thinking of this with lovely autumn leaves, sparkling snow, against a beautiful spring sky and clearly at the pool in the summer.

Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Autumn #1

Ny månad och nytt tema i Nail Challenge Collaborative, passande nog valde vi höst. Och höst det har det blivit på riktigt där ute. Kvällarna är mörka och löven faller i stora mängder från träden. Faktum är att jag gillar hösten. Jag gillar den där härligt höga luften och alla vackra färger.

Nå i alla fall min första manikyr blev en med gårdagens Depend 7 Day 7142 Believe In Me lack som bas. Just det lacket föll mig ju inte alls i smaken, men med lite mönster från ÜberChic Lovely Leaves 01 stämplat med Hit the Bottle My Suitor Wears Pewter blev det ju inte alls så tokigt.

New month and a new theme in the Nail Challenge Collaborative. This month we will make autumn manicures. And the autumn has certinaly come now. The evenings are dark and the leaves fall in large amounts from the trees. In fact, I like the fall. I like that beautifully high air and all beautiful colors.

Well, my first manicure is one with yesterday's Depend 7 Day 7142 Believe In Me polish as base. That polish didn't fit my taste at all, but with a little pattern from ÜberChic Lovely Leaves 01 stamped with Hit the Bottle My Suitor Wears Pewter it turned out pretty nice.

Något är lite skumt med det här lacket, mer än färgen alltså! På själva flaskan så står det 7142 Confidence, men i broschyren som är medskickad och på Depends hemsida så heter lacket 7142 Believe In Me så jag får väl anta att det är det korrekta namnet. Det här gäller även fler lack i höstkollektionen Celebrate Personality, kanske ska vara en kul grej helt enkelt.

Som vanligt så var det trevligt att lacka med och täcker på två lager. Torktiden är ok och på bilderna har jag topplack över.

Så var det då färgen. Har ni eller har haft småbarn? Anledningen till att jag frågar är nämligen att jag direkt tänker på bebisbajs när jag ser färgen. Och nej, det känns inte så positivt. Så tyvärr är det här inte alls en färg som jag gillar även om den är perfekt till hösten och förmodligen borde kallas för senap eller något sådant.

Something is a weird with this polish, more than the color! On the bottle itself it says 7142 Confidence, but in the brochure that is included and on Depend's website, it's called 7142 Believe In Me so I guess that's the correct name. This also applies to more polishes in the Celebrate Personality collection, maybe just a fun thing.

As usual, it was nice to work with and covers in two layers. The drying time is ok and in the pictures I have topcoat over.

Then it was this thing with the color. Do you have or have had a toddler? The reason I ask is that I'm thinking about the babys first poop right away when I see the color. And no, it doesn't feel so positive. So unfortunately this is not a color I like, even if it is perfect in the fall and probably should be called mustard or something.
