Idag är jag extra glad för jag har fått chansen via CND Sverige att dela med mig av CND Vinylux Nightspell kollektionen med en av mina läsare. Japp ni läste rätt en Giveaway där man kan vinna hela kollektionen.

CND Vinylux - Berry Boudoir

När jag häromdagen målade med OPI Suzi & The Arctic Fox blev jag lite lurad på färgen, men det är absolut inte fallet när det kommer till CND Vinylux Berry Boudoir från höstens NightSpell kollektion. Det här är ett mörkt rödlila jellylack som jag faktiskt tycker påminner en del om ett av mina favoritlack som är OPI Honk If You Love OPI.

Färgen på det här är ursnyggt och jag gillar den riktigt mycket, men varför kan jag inte lära mig att måla med jellys? Det blir ju så fantastiskt snyggt glansig yta med dom och ändå kan jag inte få till det riktigt. Detta gjorde att ett lack som jag egentligen tror ska räcka med två eller tre lager istället fick bli fyra i mitt fall. Allt för att få det att se jämnt och fint ut.

Hade jag inte haft lack som är väldigt lika det här så hade jag absolut tyckt att fyra lager hade varit värt mödan för färgen är verkligen en sådan som jag älskar att bära.

When I painted with OPI Suzi & The Arctic Fox the other day  I was a bit puzzled by the color, but it's definitely not the case when it comes to CND Vinylux Berry Boudoir from the autumn's NightSpell collection. This is a dark red-purple jelly that I actually think reminds me of one of my favorite polishes namely OPI Honk If You Love OPI.

The color of this is gorgeous and I like it very much, but why can't I learn to paint with jellys? The finish has such a wonderful glossy surface and yet I can't get it right. This meant that a polish that I really think you could paint with two or maybe three layers in my case had to be four to make it look even.

If I hadn't already had a polish very similar to this, I would definitely have thought that four layers was worth the effort because the color is really one that I love to wear.

Depend O2 - 5061 Galaxy Highway

Depend O2 har precis släppt en otroligt fin LE kollektion som heter Across the Universe bestående av 8 olika lack i lite foil och metallic finish alla inom den gröna och blåa färgskalan.

Det är ju faktiskt Karins gröna onsdag idag och till det passar många av lacken ur den kollektionen fantastiskt bra. Jag valde att börja visa 5061 Galaxy Highway som jag är helt övertygad hade räckt med ett lager av, men jag har två för att kolla om färgen djupnade något. Det kanske den gjorde, men väldigt marginellt. Jag har topplack över.

Det här är enhelt fantastiskt fin grön färg med en finish som jag skulle vilja säga ligger mitt emellan foil och metallic. Något som är bra för att lacket har inte minst tendens till att lämna ränder efter borsten i sig. Jag kan lova att mina bilder inte ens är i närheten av hur fint det här i verkligheten. Jag säger helt enkelt ut och leta upp de här lacken i butik för dom är väl värda att ha i sin samling.

Depend O2 has just released an incredibly nice LE collection called Across the Universe consisting of 8 different polishes in foil and metallic finishes all within the green and blue color scale.

In fact, it's Karin's green Wednesday today, and many of the polishes in that collection fits very well for that occasion. I chose to start displaying 5061 Galaxy Highway, which I'm completely convinced could be used as a one coater, but I have two to check if the color deepend something. Maybe it did, but very marginal. I have topcoat over.

This is a uniquely beautiful fine green color with a finish that I would like to say lies between foil and metallic. Something that is good because there are no visible brush strokes which it probably would have been with a straight up metallic polish. I can promise that my pictures are not even close to how fine this is in reality. I simply tell you go out and find this collection in a store because they are well worth having in your collection.

Det blev lite tyst här på bloggen i ett par dagar. Helgen spenderades ihop med mannen min. Han jobbar oftast 7-19 (är egenföretagare) i veckorna så det behövdes lite kvalitetstid. Igår var jag och fick en kortisonspruta i min knäled och blev liggande på soffan efter det, men förhoppnings så ska den göra susen så jag kan komma igång ordentligt igen.

Men, nu till lacket som jag burit ett par dagar. OPI Suzi & The Arctic Fox ett lack som när jag såg det i flaskan trodde var riktigt mörkt lila. Och det är det nog egentligen, men på naglarna syns inte den nyansen mer än när man är ute i solen. Oftast ser det mer brunt ut, men i vissa lägen till och med lite grönaktigt ut. Mycket skumt för det här är ett krämlack utan någon som helst mening att vara skiftande.

Nu låter det som att jag inte gillar det här lacket, men det är helt fel. Jag tycker tvärtom mycket om det och kanske just för att det inte alls var vad jag förväntade mig. Förutom när det gäller målandet för det var lika bra som OPI brukar vara när det gäller krämlack. Som sagt det här är höstigt, mustigt och intressant.

It got a little quiet here on the blog for a couple of days. The weekend was spent with my husband. He usually works 7-19 (has his own company) in the weeks, so some quality time was needed. Yesterday I went to the doctors and got a cortisone injection in my knee joint and was lying on the couch the rest of the day, but I really hope it will make some difference so I can get back to my normal life again.

But, now on to the polish I have had on my nails the last couple of days. OPI Suzi & The Arctic Fox a polish that I thought was a really dark purple when I looked at it in the bottle. And that's probably the case, but on the nails you don't really see that nuance more than when you're out in the sun. Usually it looks more brown, but in some lights it's even greenish. Very strange because this is a cream without any intention to be duochrome.

You might get the impression that I don't like this polish, but that's completely wrong. On the contrary, I think this is a great polish and maybe just because it was not what I expected. Except when it comes to painting with it. It's just as good as OPI usually is when it comes to creams. As said this is perfect for autumn, rich and interesting.

United In Pink - 2017

Oktober är redan här och om ni inte redan sett det i diverse Facebook grupper så kommer det även i år hållas en rosa tema vecka under namnet United In Pink där vi som bloggar, Instagramar eller på andra sätt visar våra manikyrer uppmärksammar att vi är inne i årets rosa månad. Den månad då vi uppmärksammar kampen mot bröstcancer lite extra.

I år är det den 16-22 oktober som temaveckan hålls och om ni är aktiva på Facebook så finns det en speciell grupp för ändamålet. Ni som fortfarande har lite vett kvar och inte finns på Facebook får gärna maila mig på lackycorner@gmail.com för mer info. För givetvis är alla lika välkomna att delta!

Något som också är viktigt att veta är att du absolut inte behöver visa nail art. Vanliga manikyrer går bra eller en rosa sminkning eller kanske något rosa som du har gjort själv.

October is already here and you might already seen in various Facebook groups, that we will once again run a pink theme week under the name United In Pink, where we, who blogs, posts on Instagrams or other ways, shows our manicures give our attention to this year's pink month. The month when we pay extra attention to the fight against breast cancer.

This year the theme week will be held October 16-22 and for those of you who are active on Facebook, there's a special group for the purpose. Something that is also important to know is that you absolutely don't need to show nail art. manicures works perfect or a pink makeup or maybe something pink that you have done yourself.
