Essie - Aruba Blue

När yngste sonen ska ta studenten behöver man ha snygga naglar och vad passar bättre än ett lack som jag fått av honom i julklapp för många år sedan. Ett lack som dessutom passar perfekt till kläderna jag ska ha och är kanonsnyggt.

Jag har Essie Aruba Blue på naglarna ett mörkblått metallic lack som har riktigt trevliga egenskaper. Är lätt att få snyggt utan ränder på naglarna, täcker på två lager och torkar fort. På bilderna har jag topplack över.

Det här är så himla fint och det blir ju givetvis lite extra roligt att bära ett lack som jag fått av V på hans studentdag. Håll nu tummarna för att vi har vädergudarna med oss och att det blir en härlig dag.

Today is my youngest son's graduation day and I of course wanted my nails to look fab. What could be better than a polish that I got from him as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago. A polish that also fits perfectly with the clothes I will wear and also is great looking (that is the polish not me..).

I have Essie Aruba Blue on the nails. This is a dark blue metallic polish that has really nice qualities. Is easy to get smooth and nice on the nails without to many visable brushstrokes, covers in two layers and dries fast. In the pictures I have topcoat over.

This is so great, and of course it's a little extra fun to wear on his graduation since it was a gift from him to me. Please give us a thought and cross fingers that we will ha decent weather and a wonderful day. 

KB Shimmer - Macaw Me Maybe

När man ska gå på sin brorsons student ska naglarna var snygga och jag måste säga att jag inte kunde fått så mycket finare än det här på naglarna.

KB Shimmer Macaw Me Maybe är ett papegojrött holo som täcker på två lager och torkar fort. På bilderna har jag topplack över. Det var suveränt att jobba med kan jag tillägga.

Att jag skulle låta bli att köpa ett lack som har något med papegojor att göra är inte troligt (fast alla har jag faktiskt inte..) och när det dessutom är ett rött så går oddsen för att jag ska låta bli ner betydligt. Det här lacket är bara suveränt på alla sätt faktiskt. Färgen, holon och formulan är underbara allihopa.

When going to my nephew's graduation the nails should be awesome and I have to say that I could not have gotten much nicer than this on the nails.

KB Shimmer Macaw Me Maybe is a parrot red holo that covers in two layers and dries fast. In the pictures I have topcoat over. I can also say that it was amazing to work with. 

The chanses that I wouldn't buy a polish that has anything to do with parrots is unlikely (though I do not really have them all.) And when it's red, the odds for me not to buy is really low. This polish is just superb in every way actually. The color, the holo and the formula are all wonderful.

Depend 7 Day - Shocking Neon

Lite härligt neon behövs för att sätta fart på veckan och idag blir det med hjälp av Depend 7 Day Shocking Neon. Ett riktigt skarpt gult lack, men dock inte riktigt high-lighter gult.

Det här täcker på tre lager eller jag tycker det är helt ok på tre lager, men vill man ha det helt hundra så kanske man måste ta fyra. Torktiden var bra och det torkar matt, men jag kände inte för att ha det så utan la på lite topplack över.

Riktigt härligt och glatt lack som man liksom inte kan låta bli att tycka om. Man blir pigg och glad av att titta på naglarna.

Some awesome neon is always a great way to start the week and today it's Depend 7 Day Shocking Neon that will help to get this week going. A really bright yellow polish, but not really high-lighter yellow.

This covers in three layers or I think it's okay in three layers, but if you want it to be a hundred, maybe you have to take four. The drying time was good and it dries matte, but I didn't feel like wearing it that way so I put some glossy topcoat on top. 

Really colorful and happy polish that is hard not to like and hard not to feel happy when you are wearing. It help me boost a pretty boring Monday. 

Dance Legend - Roz

Men så var det fredag igen! Och jag tänker fira det med att visa er ett fantastiskt fint multichrome lack från Dance Legend som heter Roz. Om jag kommer ihåg rätt så kommer det här lacket från en kollektion där alla lacken hade namn som var inspirerade från en av mina favoritfilmer när det kommer till tecknat. Nämligen Monsters Inc.

Roz är som sagt multichrome och det skiftar från lila, till grönt och till brons. Riktigt tydliga och fina skiftningar som syns i alla typer av ljus. Både naturligt och artificiellt. De flesta multi och duochroma lack är något skira, det här också, men tre lager ger helt ok täckning. Torktiden var riktigt bra och på bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Idag bjuder jag även på en lite dålig video som visar de alldeles ljuvliga skiftningarna. Det här är inte speciellt unikt längre, men jag tror minsann att det väckte upp min kärlek till lack med färgskiftningar igen. Den har annars varit ganska låg ett tag. Jag tycker verkligen väldigt mycket om det är lacket och blir mycket sugen på att skaffa några till ur kollektionen.

It's Friday again! And I'm going to celebrate it by showing you a fantastic multichrome polish from Dance Legend called Roz. If I remember correctly, this polish comes from a collection where all the polishes had names inspired by one of my favorite films when it comes to cartoons. Namely Monsters Inc.

As mentioned, Roz is multichrome and it changes from purple to green and to bronze. Really clear and beautiful shifts that appear in all types of light. Both natural and artificial. Most multi and duochrome polishes are pretty sheer, this too, but three layers provides really good coverage. The drying time was really good and in the pictures I have topcoat on as well.

Today, I also offer a maybe not that good video that shows the beautiful shifts. This is not particularly unique anymore, but I think that it raised my love for multichromes again. It has otherwise been quite low for a while. I really really like this polish and I would love to get some more from that collection.

Essie - Starry Starry Night

Nej, det är inte originalet jag kommer visa för er idag av Essies Starry Starry Night utan nyutgåvan som kom 2015. Den som jag bara tvunget skulle ha och köpte ihop med ett gäng andra lacknördar innan det börjat komma massa swatchbilder och recensioner.

Saken är den att jag var sjukt nära att faktiskt vinna en auktion med originalet för något år sedan för ett riktig bra pris. Tyvärr dog mitt internet och någon annan blev lycklig istället, så självklart blev jag eld och lågor när den här skulle komma ut igen. Innan jag går in på vad jag tycker och tänker så tar vi väl det vanliga tjatet om formula och så vidare. Det här är ett mörktblått jelly lack med glitter i silver och blått. Helt ok att jobba med, men man får se till att lägga lite jämna lager för det var inte så tillåtande när det kom till att rätta till något. Det täcker riktigt bra och jag har bara två lager och topplack på bilderna. Torktiden var också helt ok.

Det här är ett riktigt vackert lack, men varför Essie gjorde ni inte en exakt kopia av det ljuvliga lack som originalet är? Visst är det här snyggt, men jag är inte helt såld och det faktum att det inte satt något vidare bra på mig gör inte att jag blir mer nöjd. Jo det är snyggt, men nej, det var inte värt hypen.

No, it's not the original Starry Starry Night from Essie that I will show you today but the new edition that came in 2015. The one I just had to buy and bought together with a bunch of other polishnerds before it started to get lots of swatches and reviews online.

The thing is that I was so very close to actually winning an auction with the original a few years ago for a really good price. Unfortunately, my internet died and someone else became happy instead, so of course I got all fire and flames when this was about to be re-released. Before I get into what I think of it I will as usual give you some info about the formula.  This is a dark blue jelly polish with glitter in silver and blue. It's okay to work with, but make sure to put some even layers because it was not so permissive when it came to correcting something. It's really nice and I only have two layers and topcoat on in the pictures. The drying time was also ok.

This is a really beautiful polish, but why did Essie not make an exact copy of the lovely one that the original is? Surely this is nice, but I'm not completely sold and the fact that I didn't last any good on me does not make me feel more happy. Well, as I said beautiful, but no, it was not worth the hype.
