Cupcake Polish - Mr.Green In the Lounge

Idag är det grön Onsdag hos Karin och jag hänger på.

Lacket ni får se här hos mig är från Cupcake Polish och heter Mr.Green In the Lounge och som ni säkert förstår är namnet inspirerat av brädspelet Cluedo.

Det här är ett gräsgrönt holo som var jättebra att måla med. Jag tror man kan få det att täcka på ett lager, men jag fick nån liten kal fläck så jag har två + topplack på bilderna. Torktiden var mycket bra.

Egentligen skulle jag inte alls visat det här lacket idag, men efter att försökt att få ett av Depends Candy Craves lack att se någorlunda vettigt ut gav jag upp tog bort alltihopa och plockade fram ett säkert kort istället. Jag tycker att det här är en riktigt trivsam färg. Det är inte någon superholo, men det gör mig absolut ingenting.

The polish you will see today is from Cupcake Polish and is called Mr.Green In the Lounge, and as you can imagine the name is inspired by the board game Cluedo.

This is a grass green holo that was great to paint with. I think you can get it to cover in one coat, but I got some bald spots on my first so I have two coats + topcoat in the images. The drying time was very good.

Actually, I wasn't supposed to show this polish at all today, but after trying to get one of Depends Candy Craves polishes to look reasonably sensible out, I gave up. Took it all of and pulled a safe card from my drawer instead. I think this is a really pleasant color. There is no superholo, but that doesn't bother me at all.

Jag håller på att mixtra lite med ljussättningen till mina nagelbilder, i slutändan hoppas jag att det ska bli kanonbra, men bara så ni vet så kan nog bilderna skilja sig lite ett tag tills jag känner att jag hittat rätt med min nya för mig något för avancerade blixt. Dessutom kommer jag nog att skippa bilden där jag bara visat tre naglar.

Idag blir det ett riktigt härligt vårlack här på bloggen. OPI No Tan Lines är ett orange krämlack som mina ögon säger har lite brunt i sig. Vi är tillbaka på gammal god OPI kvalitet när det kommer till krämlack. Det här var som smör i solsken att måla med. Två lager och topplack har jag på bilderna.

Det är kanske inte den mest smickrande färgen till min hudton, men jag gillar den och man blir ju glad av sådana här färger.

I'm about to tinker a bit with the lighting on my nail images, in the end, I hope that it will be Super, but just so you know you can probably expect some differences in the photos for a little while. Just until I feel I have found the right settings with my new for me a bit to advanced flash.

Today I have a great spring polish for you. OPI No Tan Lines is an orange creme polish that in my eyes have a little brown hue in it. We are back in the good old OPI quality when it comes to cream polish. This was like butter in sunshine to paint with. Two coats and top coat is what I have in the pictures.

It's perhaps not the most flattering color to my skin tone, but I like it and I think this kind of color makes you happy.

Nail Art Sunday 19/3

Idag blir det ännu en svart/vit manikyr som får representera både Nail Art Sunday och Nail Challenge Collaborative.

Det är även en liten recension av en stämpelplatta från Born Pretty Store med nummer BPL-022. Jag tycker att de allra mesta plattorna jag testat från BPL håller riktigt bra kvalité och är bra etsade så även den här.

Reader's Choice - HM Snowy Night

Härligt med helg, även om jag mest tänker ägna mig åt att bli av med min förkylning.

Igår visade jag ett ljusblått lack och en av anledningarna till att det blev just det lacket var för att jag behövde ett bra underlag till denna veckas läsarnas val som blev HM Snowy Night. Ett glitterlack som jag först trodde hade blåa och silvriga glitter, men så var det inte. Basen är blå jelly och sen är det enbart silvriga glitter i olika storlekar.

Jag har lagt två lager av Snowy Night över det ljusblåa Depend 503 och det man klart kan se är att det blir en mörkare bas av det hela. Man fick skaka flaskan lite för att det skulle bli lite jämn fördelning mellan de olika storlekarna på glitter. Över det hela har jag topplack.

Jag gillar den här kombinationen oväntat mycket faktiskt. Jag är glad att det inte var blåa glitter utan enbart silvriga för det gör att jag gillar det bra mycket mer än om det varit blandat. Nu blir det enkelt, men ändå något extra. Precis vad jag tycker om.

Yesterday I showed a light blue polish and one of the reasons of that was because I needed a good basis for this week's Readers' Choice that is HM Snowy Night. A glitter polish that I first thought had blue and silver glitter, but I was wrong. The base is blue jelly and then it's only silvery glitter in various sizes.

I added two layers of Snowy Night over the light blue Depend 503 and one can clearly can see that it changes the base color to a darker blue. You had to shake the bottle a bit to get a good balance between the different sizes of glitter. Over it all, I have a topcoat.

I like this combination unexpected much actually.  I'm glad it was not blue glitter but only silver that makes me like it a lot more than if it had been mixed. Now it's simple, but still something extra. Just what I like.
