Depend 7 Day - The Nutcracker

Två av de snyggaste julkollektionerna i år kommer kanske något oväntat från Depend. Båda deras har många fantastiskt fina lack.

Idag tänkte jag visa ett från Depend 7 Day som heter The Nutcracker. Det här är ett grafitgrått lack med massor av fint, fint pristmatiskt glitter i. Jag har tre lager på bilderna, men jag tror att det räcker med två om man har något kortare naglar än vad jag har just nu. Måste också tillägga att jag verkligen gillar Depends lite bredare borste, riktigt trevlig att jobba med. Torktiden var helt ok och på bilderna har jag som vanligt topplack på.

Det här gick verkligen hem hos mig. Återigen så blir betyget enligt julskalan en stjärna i toppen av granen vilket är ett mycket gott betyg.

Two of the best looking Christmascollections this year comes from, at least in my opinion, Depend. Both of those consists of really amazing polishes.

Today I will show one from Depend 7 Day called The Nutcracker. This is a graphite gray polish with lots of fine, fine pristmatic glitter. I have three layers on in the pictures, but I think that two might be enough if you have shorter nails than what I have right now. I must also add that I really like Depends wider brush it's really nice to work with. The drying time was ok and in the pictures I have as usual topcoat on.

This certainly spoke to me. I like it a lot. Again according to the Christmas scale this is the star in the top of the tree, which is a very good rating.

 

Winter Nail Art Challenge - Wrapping Paper & Bows

Idag kan man välja mellan omslagspapper eller rosetter som tema eller kan man ju förstås kombinera de båda om man känner för det. Själv gjorde jag först rosetter, men dom ville jag inte visa för allmänheten, så istället blev det en julpappersinspirerad manikyr.

Här är i Sverige har det ju ett tag varit väldigt trendigt med brunpapper som omslagspapper och på senare år har det dykt upp en hel del julpapper som är brunt med olika tryck och ett av alla dessa är min manikyr baserad lite löst på.

Basen är China Glaze What She Dune, mönstret kommer från BP-L015 och stämplat har jag gjort med ett grönt Konad lack.

Today you can choose from doing wrapping paper or bows on your nails or one can of course combine the two if you feel like doing that. At first I did bows, but they didn't turn out looking like something I wanted to show in public so instead it became a wrapping paper inspired manicure.

Here in Sweden it has been very trendy to use brown paper as wrapping paper for the last couple of years and now it also has come a lot of brown paper with Christmas patterns on and it's on of those that my manicure is kind of based on.

The base is China Glaze What She Dune, the pattern comes from BP-L015 and I have stamped with a green Konad stampingpolish.

Reader's Choice - Dreamland Lacquer Out, Damned Clot!

Lördagskväll och vi fick oväntat men väldigt välkommet besök från Linköping. På naglarna sitter lacket som ni röstade fram förra veckan och jag känner att om jag skulle gått på julfest så hade manikyren varit redo.

Dreamland Lacquer Out, Damned Clot! är ett rött holo. Kanske inte riktigt julrött, men helt underbart vackert är det i alla fall. Som vanligt när det gäller lack från det här märket så är formulan fantastisk och två lager räcker utan problem. Torktiden är snabb och jag har topplack över på bilderna.

Jag är så sjukt svag för den här typen av röda lack och det här är verkligen inget undantag. Har absolut snyggaste naglarna i byn ikväll!

Till nästa vecka tonar vi ner färgen lite och det blir gråa lack som ni får rösta på.

Saturday evening and we got a very unexpected but very welcome guest from Linköping. And on my nails is the polish that you voted as this weeks reader's choice and I feel that if should have gone to a Christmas party my manicure would have been ready.

Dreamland Lacquer Out, Damned Clot! is a red holo. Maybe not quite Christmas red, but absolutely wonderfully beautiful. As usual when it comes to polishes from this brand the formula is awesome and two layers is enough without problems. The drying time is fast and I have a topcoat over in the pictures.

I'm such a sucker for this kind of red polishes and this is certainly no exception. I'm pretty sure that I have the absolute best looking nails in my village tonight!

For next week, there will be a little more toned down color and you will have gray polishes to vote on. 

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Holiday Season

Det blir mera jul/vinterinspirerad nail art hos mig idag. Temat hos The Nail Challenge Collaborative är Holiday Season och i Twelve Days of Christmas så var temat Snowman alltså ser jag till att kombinera dessa två.

Jag tror det är Color Club Over The Moon som det blåa hololacket heter. Min etikett är skadad, men det är det blåa från de första Halo Hues som Color Club släppte i alla fall. Zoya Purity har jag som vanligt använt till den vita basen och mönstret kommer från ÜberChic Christmas 02 plattan.

Först när jag var färdig med manikyren insåg jag att det här blev ju ganska Frozen inspirerat med det något isblå lacket och snögubben, men vad gör väl det. Jag är i alla fall nöjd och glad.

You will get more Christmas / winter inspired nail art from me today. The theme of The Nail Challenge Collaborative this month is the Holiday Season and in the Twelve Days of Christmas it's Snowman today therefore I decided I could combine these two.

I think it's Color Club Over The Moon that I've used for the blue nails. My label is damaged, but it's the blue from the first Halo Hues collection that Color Club released. As usual it's Zoya Purity that I've used for the white base and the pattern comes from the ÜberChic Christmas 02 plate.

When I was finished with this manicure I realized that it became pretty Frozen inspired because of that icy blue holo and the snowman, but who cares. I'm really satisfied and happy with this.

Winter Nail Art Challenge - Christmas Candy or Food

Idag är temat julgodis och julmat och jag tog kanske en enkel väg ut, men jag gillar röd/vita julmanikyrer och polkagrisar.

Basen är Zoya Ash och jag har hittat mönstren på ÜberChic Christmas 02 och MoYou London Festive 06. Stämplade gjorde jag med MoYou London White Knigt som täcker riktigt bra för att vara ett vitt stämpellack. Att stämpla ränder är lite lurigt så mina blev lite svängda, men inte så att jag tyckte det blev misslyckat.

Jag gillar den här manikyren riktigt mycket. Tycker om hur Zoya Ash gör det hela lite mer levande med sin metallic finish.

Today, the theme in Winter Nail Art Challenge is Christmas Candy or Food and maybe I took an easy way out, but I like red /white Christmasnails and candy canes.

The base is Zoya Ash and I found patterns on ÜberChic Christmas 02 and MoYou London Festive 06 plates. I stamped with MoYou London White Knigt that is covering really good for a white stamping polish. To stamp stripes is a bit tricky and mine became a little bit curved, but not so much that I thought it was unsuccessful.

I like this manicure really much. I Think Zoya Ash makes it a little more alive with its metallic finish.
