Green Stamping!

Idag är det grön onsdag hos Karin och jag deltar med en grön nail art.

Mönstret kommer från en stämpelplatta som jag fått utskickat för recension från Nurbesten. En Born Pretty platta med nummer BP-104. Mitt intryck av plattan är att den är bra etsad och att det är lätt att få upp mönstret från den. Jag har dessutom fått tillsänt en borste som jag tänker använda som clean-up borste. Ett lite rundat huvud med ganska mjuka borst. Jag tycker storleken är perfekt och stråna följde med fint när jag rengjorde efter stämplingen. Jag gillar dessutom att det är lite tyngd i själva skaftet så den ligger fint i handen. Lacken jag har använt till manikyren är A-England Camelot som bas och stämplat har jag gjort med Hit The Bottle Absinth Minded.

Sent out for review

Today we celebrate green Wednesday at Karin's and I have a green nail art for you.

The pattern comes from a stamping plate that I got sent out for review from Nurbesten. A Born Pretty plate with number BP-104. My impression of the plate is that it is well etched and it is easy to pick up the pattern from the plate. I have also gotten a brush sent to me that I intend to use as a clean-up brush. A slightly rounded head with quite a soft brush. I think the size is perfect and the straw followed the edge of the cuticle very nicely when I cleanded up after the stamping. I also like that there is little weight in the handle that makes the brush rest very nicely in the hand. The polishes I used for this manicure is A-England Camelot as the base and then I stamped with Hit The Bottle Absinth Minded.

OPI - Can't Read Without My Lipstick

Jag längtar till 1:a Advent och därför känns det rätt perfekt att visa ett jullack idag. Det här är Can't Read Without My Lipstick från OPIs Breakfast at Tiffany's kollektion.

Lacket är mörkt oxblodsrött och en crelly skulle jag nog säga. Jag har två lager på bilderna, men ångrar att jag inte tog ett tredje faktiskt. Jag och crellys är inte alltid kompisar, så det blev lite ojämnt. Det är topplack över också. Som sagt ett tredje hade kanske varit bra, men egentligen tror jag att två är tillräckligt om man är lite mer noggrann än vad jag var på första lagret. Mitt var lite ojämnt och strimmigt vilket också återspeglas lite i det andra.

Kanske inte min favoritformula, men färgen däremot den gillar jag skarpt. Snygg, klassisk och vampig. Låter som tre rätt i mina öron.

I long for the first Advent Sunday and therefore it feels perfect to display a polish from a Christmas collection today. This is Can't Read Without My Lipstick from OPIs Breakfast at Tiffany's collection.

The polish is dark oxbloodred and a crelly I would say. I have two coats in the pictures, but actually regrets that I didn't take a third. Me and crellys are not always good friends, so it became a little uneven. I have topcoat on too. That said a third might have been good, but I really think two is enough if one is a little more careful than I was on the first layer. Mine became a little uneven and streaky which also is reflected a bit in the second.

Maybe not my favorite formula, but the color is a one that I like a lot. Stylish, classic and vampy. Sounds like three right in my ears.

Winter Nail Art Challenge

Under December kommer jag att pausa Nail Art Sunday för att istället ha lite julkul. Det blir tredje året som jag håller i Winter Nail Art Challenge. Precis som förra året blir det två tema dagar per vecka. Måndagar och Torsdagar, men jag kommer vara väldigt generös med tiden för att länka till era inlägg, så skulle ni inte hinna med inlägget på måndagen, men på tisdagen så är det helt ok för min del. Julstress har man nog av ändå, det här ska var kul och inspirerande.

Det kommer att finnas inlinkz som man kan lägga till sin egen manikyr på. Vill man kan man även ha länkkoden på sin egen sida om man bloggar.

I will host a Winter Nail Art Challenge again this year. This will be my third year doing this. We will have two themes a week on Mondays and Thursdays. I will be very generous with the posting time so if you don't have the time to post on the Monday it will be ok to do it on the Tuesday. I think there will be enough stress before Christmas without postingstress. This is just supposed to be fun and inspiring.

Nail Art Sunday - Dots

Jag gör som vanligt och slår ihop Nail Art Sunday med The Nail Challenge Collaborative. Temat denna söndagen är prickar och återigen har jag varit dum nog att låta min son bestämma vilka färger som skulle användas.

Detta har nu resulterat i en manikyr som skulle kunna vara en smittsam sjukdom!

I'm doing as usual and is combining our Nail Art Sunday with The Nail Challenge Collaborative. This weeks theme is dots and I have again been stupid enough to let my son decide the colors of the manicure.

This has now given me a manicure that could as well be a very contagious disease!

Depend O2 - 5040 Unicorn Dream

Huset börjar se presentabelt ut och jag tog mig tid att fixa till naglarna. Dagens lack fick bli ett ur Depend O2s HOLO Fantasy kollektion.

Det här är 540 Unicorn Dream ett snyggt lila lack med fin holo. Trevligt att jobba med och täcker som sina kompisar i kollektionen på två lager. Torktiden är bra. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Unicorn Dream har visats på rätt många bloggar vid det här laget, men nu finns ju lacken ute i butikerna också så är man sugen på något av lacken därifrån ska man nog passa på, för vad jag förstår så är det en limited edition kollektion.

Jag gillar det här väldigt mycket även om jag som lacknörd har sett en hel del liknande lack med tanke på alla som Indiemakarna släpper. Men det jag tycker är kul är att det är ett svenskt märke både till ägandeskap och tillverkning som släpper ett sånt här lack. Det tillhör inte vanligheterna och att man som icke nörd som inte ägnar sig åt att beställa lack från alla världens hörn faktiskt kan gå till en butik och köpa holo det är riktigt roligt enligt mig.

The house starts to look presentable and I took the time to fix my nails. Today's polish is one from Depend O2s HOLO Fantasy collection.

This is 540 Unicorn Dream a stylish purple polish with fine holo. Nice to work with and covers as it's buddies in the collection in two layers. The drying time is good. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

Unicorn Dream has been displayed on quite a few blogs by now, but by now this collection has hit the stores so if you are keen on any of the polishes you should probably take the opportunity, for what I understand it's a limited edition collection.

I like this very much although I as a polishnerd have seen a lot of similar since all the Indiebrands have been making this kind of polishes for a while by now. But what I find great is that it's a Swedish brand both in ownership and production which releases this kind of polish and collection. That is certinaly not a common thing and that a non-geek that doesn't order online from all the corners of the world actually can go to a store and buy holo that is really nice according to me.
