ABC Challenge - N = Nubar Dusk Till Dawn

Hörrni det blev visst bara blåa lack denna veckan i ABC Challenge inläggen! För idag visar jag Nubar Dusk Till Dawn ännu ett lack som jag skulle kunna beteckna som jeansfärgat.

Ett lite dammigt mörkblått crelly lack som jag vid första lagret inte för mitt liv trodde skulle täcka på mindre än tre lager, men se där hade jag fel. Två räckte alldeles utmärkt. Torktiden var riktigt bra. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Jag gillar ju verkligen den här typen av blåa lack, så egentligen är det väldigt konstigt att dom ändå får stå otestade länge. Just det här vet jag att jag beställde i Augusti 2014..

Nä, det är inte unikt på något sätt, men väldigt fint tycker jag.

Somehow it only became blue polishes in this weeks ABC Challenge polishes! For today I show Nubar Dusk Till Dawn a polish that I would describe as another denim colored.

A little dusty blue crelly polish which I at first layer couldn't believe would cover in less than layers, but see I was wrong. Two was enough without a problem. The drying time was really good. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

I do really love this kind of blue polishes, so it's really very strange that they still has a tendency to be standing untested for a long time. This one I know for sure that I bought in August 2014 ..

No, it's not unique in any way, but very nice, I think.

More Waterdecals from Born Pretty Store

Idag blir det sista recensionen av saker från Born Pretty Store på ett tag. Just nu har jag inget mer som dom skickat till mig som inte redan är recenserat.

Det här blev i alla fall en riktigt färgglad manikyr med hjälp av OPI Girls Love Ponies och Superficially Colorful Lacquer The sacred Tsaheylu.

Även dom här lossnade lätt från det skyddande pappret och jag tyckte att dom här fastnade lättare på nageln än vad dom svart/rosa som jag visade sist gjorde. Jag klippte inte till dom så värst noggrant den här gången heller utan smälte bort överflödig dekal med ren aceton på en pensel.

Det här blev en glad och vårig manikyr som jag tycker blev väldigt fin.

As the last ones I reviewd these also came off easily from the protective paper and I thought that these easier stucked to nails than what the black / pink as I showed last time did. I did not cut them into the right size very carefully this time either, but melted away excess decal with pure acetone on a brush.

This is such a happy and perfect for spring manicure and I think it's a really nice one.

Depend - 4085 Apricot Sorbet

Häromdagen fick jag en stor låda med massa roligt innehåll från Depend. Bland annat låg där den nya Five Shades Of Sorbet kollektion som nyss har lanserats.

Den består av fem stycken lack i pastellfärger som torkar lite halvmatt.

Jag började måla med det som lockade mig minst av de här fem nämligen 4085 Apricot Sorbet och som ni förstår av namnet är det här aprikosfärgat, men en väldigt ljus pastell aprikos.

Jag tyckte att det var riktigt bra att måla med för att vara ett så ljust lack. Om man tar lite tjockare lager så räcker det gott och väl med två lager och det blir faktiskt inte speciellt strimmigt alls. Kul eftersom den här typen av färgen ofta blir det annars.

Jag gillade färgen mycket mer än förväntat måste jag säga. Tycker den ser riktigt vårfin ut. Jag gillar den lite halvmatta finishen också, men för att ni ska få se hur det ser ut med topplack så har jag valt att visa både helt utan topplack och både med glansigt och matt topplack. Bilderna utan flaska med är som det ser ut utan topplack alls.

Min favoritversion blev den med matt lack på. Tycker verkligen om hur mjukt och fint det ser ut så.

Ett tips är dock att först måla med "vanligt" topplack och sedan det matta. Jag testade bägge varianterna. Den ni får bild på är när jag tagit glansigt först. Utan det såg lacket väldigt ojämnt ut i matt version faktiskt.

The other day I got a big box with a lot of fun contents from Depend. Among other things the new Five Shades Of Sorbet collection that has just been launched.

It consists of five polishes in pastel colors that dries semi-matte.

I started painting with the one that attracted me the least of these five namely 4085 Apricot Sorbet and as you can understand from the name this is apricot-colored, but a very light pastel apricot.

I thought it was really great to paint with for being such a light color. If you use a little thicker layer you can easily get away with two layers and it actually doesn't become very streaky at all. That is really nice considering that this type of colors often does get very uneven before you put on topcoat. 

I liked the color much more than expected, I must say. I think it looks very fresh and perfect for spring. I like the little semi-matte finish, too, but for you to get to see how it looks with top coat on too I have chosen to show both without topcoat and with both glossy and matte topcoat. The pictures without bottle in is how it looks without topcoat. 

My favorite version is the one with matte top coat on. I really think it looks soft and smooth like that.

One tip is if you want to wear this with matte look is to first paint with "ordinary" glossy topcoat and after that has dried put a layer of matte top coat on. I tested both variants. The picture you get is when I took glossy first. Without it looked very uneven in matt version actually.

OPI Soft Shades 2016

Jag brukar inte precis visa pressbilder på kommande kollektioner som jag själv inte äger något från, men jag blev lite smått förtjust i bilderna på OPI Soft Shades 2016 som kommer att finnas i svenska butiker i början av April. Och om man surfar runt på nätet har jag faktiskt redan sett dom i vissa utländska nätbutiker och på ebay.

Jag tycker i alla fall att dom här ser väldigt fina ut. Kanske inte unika precis, men vårfina och härliga färger.

Ser ni fram emot den här kollektionen eller är det kanske någon annan som lockar er?

I don't usually show press photos of upcoming collections that I don't own any from myself. But when I saw this years Soft Shades collection from OPI I really got happy because they all look amazing. And these will be released in Sweden in the beginning of April. But I have already seen them in some webstores and on eBay. 

Well I think all of these looks very nice. Maybe not unique but very spring perfect och lovely colors.

ABC Challenge - M = Moo Moo's Signatures - Once In A Blue Moo-n

Dags för ännu ett bidrag till vårt ABC Challenge och idag är det bokstaven M som gäller. Det här är mitt första lack från Moo Moo's Signatures och vilket lack sen!

Alltså jag gillar ju kor och älskar att fota kossor så ett lack som har en söt liten kossa på loggan och lack med ko namn är ju helt underbart. Det här lacket heter Once In A Blue Moo-n och är ett royal blått lack med små flakies i  som gör att det får ett fantastiskt djup. Det torkar lite halvmatt så för att få fram djupet krävs topplack.

Det var trevligt att jobba med och täcker på två lager. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Alltså det här är verkligen hur vackert som helst. Den blå färgen är helt ljuvlig och jag tror jag är kär!

Time for yet another contribution to our ABC Challenge and today it's the letter M that is the challenge. This is my first polish from Moo Moo's Signatures and what a polish it is!!

So I like cows and loves to take pictures of cows and when a polish has a cute little cow on the logo and often polishes with names that relates to cows it has to be quite wonderful. This polish is called Once In A Blue Moo-n and is  royal blue crelly with small flakies in that gives it a great depth. It dries a little semi-matte so to make the depth occur you need to put on a topcoat.

It was nice to work with and covers in two layers. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

So this is really so, so beautiful. The blue color is absolutely lovely and I think I'm in love!
