Här kommer då lack nummer två från Purrfect Pawlishs The Anniversary Duo och helt ärligt så kunde det här lika gärna vara custom made för mig för om jag skulle be att få ett lila holo från någon tillverkare så skulle det nog sett ut så här.

PurrPurr är alltså ett lila holo, inte världens starkaste holo, men en väldigt fin effekt och så finns det faktiskt lite rött skimmer också. Och det är just det som jag tycker så mycket om med det här lacket. Skimret alltså.

Två lager räcker utmärkt och torktiden var mycket bra. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Alltså för mig är absolut det här stjärnan i duon. Om jag fick välja mellan att bära glitter eller holo resten av mitt liv skulle jag välja holo utan att tveka.

Det är väl kanske inte ett superunikt lack, men vad spelar det för roll när det är så här snyggt! För mig blir det ett stort tummen upp.

Today I have number two from The Anniversary Duo that Purrfect Pawlish will release the end of this week. And quite frankly, this could just as well be custom made for me because if I could ask to get a purple holo from any manufacturer it would probably look something ike this.

PurrPurr is as I said a purple holo, not the world's strongest holo, but a very nice effect, and there are actually some red shimmer too. And that is exactly what I like so much with this polish. The shimmer that is.

Two layers is  definitly enoug for coverage and the drying time was very good. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

This is in my opinion definitely the star of this duo. If I had to choose between wearing glitter or holo for the rest of my life I would choose holo without hesitation.

It's perhaps not a super unique polish, but what does that matter when it's this neat! For me it's a big thumbs up.

Purrfect Pawlish firar 1-år den 30/1 med att släppa The Anniversary Duo. En duo bestående av lacket jag tänker visa idag och ett holo som ni får se snart också.

Pawesome är tänkt att användas som topper, man kan säkert använda det på egen hand, men jag har faktiskt inte testat detta. Det är ett lack som i huvudak är bestående av klar bas, microholo och lila/rosa flakies.

Jag valde att lägga det här över mörklila Zoya Monica som jag visade igår. Jag testade på sticka att måla över vitt eller svart. Över svart blir det magiskt vackert, men över vitt tyckte jag att det försvann. Anledningen till att jag valde att visa över lila är att jag tyckte dom funkade så himla bra ihop.

Jag har endast ett lager Pawsome! och så topplack över det och som ni kan se så blir det en ordentlig effekt och täckning av bara ett lager. Det var jättebra att måla med och spred ut sig utan problem på nageln.

Jag både älskar och hatar glitterlack. Älskar dom för att det är ju glitter och hur vackert som helst. Hatar dom för att det är så svårt att fota och få det att se lika snyggt ut som det är i verkligheten. För det här är snyggt, väldigt snyggt och mycket blingigt må jag säga.

Purrfect Pawlish celebrates 1-year since the release of the first collection on the 30th of January with the release of The Anniversary Duo. A duo consisting of the polish I will show today and a holo that will be posted soon.

Pawesome! is meant to be used as a topper, you can certainly use it on it's own, but I have not actually tested that. It is a polish composed with a clear base and then mostly microholo and purple / pink flakies.

I chose to put this over the dark purple Zoya Monica that I showed yesterday. I did paint with it over both black and white on displaysticks. Over black it becomes magically beautiful, but over the white, I thought it kind of disappeared. The reason I chose to show over purple is that I thought they worked so amazingly well together.

I have only one layer of Pawsome! in the pictures and top coat over it and as you can see you get a really good effect with just one layer. It was great to paint with and spread out without any problem on the nail.

I both love and hate glitter polishes. Love them because it's glitter and is gorgeous any time. Hate them because it's so difficult to photograph and make it look just as stylish as it is in reality. Because this is neat, very pretty and sparkly I must say.

Zoya - Monica

Idag har jag semester och jag hade tänkt att hinna fixa mycket till bloggen, men jag blev först sittande letande nytt ljustält. Nåja, det har ju faktiskt med bloggen att göra det också.

Idag tänkte jag att ni skulle få se ett lite äldre lack från Zoya. Om jag minns rätt så har jag bytt mig till det här, men det kan vara helt fel. I vilket fall som helst så är det Monica jag tänker visa.

Monica är ett mörkare lila krämlack. Jag tänkte först att det nog är rätt likt ett av mina andra favoriter som är OPI Honk If You Love OPI, men jag tror att det här är något lite ljusare i nyansen. I vilket fall som helst så tillhör bägge två den där typen av mörklila krämlack som jag tycker mycket om.

Det här är av Zoya kvalité när den är som allra bäst. Lätt att applicera och kontrollera på nageln och täcker på två lager. Torktiden är ok, på bilderna är det utan topplack så ni ser ju att det är väldigt glansigt och fint i sig självt.

Jag gillar verkligen den här nyansen, trivs som fågeln i skyn med att bära detta på naglarna. Och även om lacket är från 2012 så finns det i Zoyas ordinarie sortiment. Alltså går det fortfarande att få tag på.

 

I have vaccation today and I was going to work a lot with the blog, but I somehow got stuck searching for a better light box than the one I have for quite a bit of time. Well, I guess that's blogrelated as well. 

Today, I thought I would show you a little older polish from Zoya. If I remember correctly I got this through a swap long time ago. But my memory could fail me. In any case, it is Monica I am going to show.

Monica is a darker purple creme polish. At first I thought that it probably is very similar to one of my other favorites OPI Honk If You Love OPI, but I think this is a little lighter in shade. In any case both of them belong to that kind of dark purple creme polish which I like very much.

This is Zoya quality when its best. Easy to apply and control on your nail and it covers in two layers. The drying time is ok. There are no topcoat on in the pictures so you can see that it is very glossy and nice by itself.

I really like this hue and feels happy as a bird in the sky wearing this on the nails. And even if the polish is from 2012 it's in Zoyas core collection so you can still get it. 

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Purple #3

När en ny månad börjar och så även ett nytt tema i The Nail Challenge Collaborative tänker jag alltid att det är ju lugnt jag har gott om tid på mig att ordna med det här, men varje månad så sitter jag sista veckan och konstaterar att oj då, nu är ju månaden nästan slut och jag har inte visat fyra manikyrer på valt tema!

Så även denna gången för det är ju faktiskt bara en vecka kvar på Januari och jag visar idag manikyr nr 3 så en till bör dyka upp denna veckan.

Min tanke var att det inte bara skulle bli stamping bland dom fyra manikyrerna, två har ju redan varit sådana även om dom har varit av olika typ av stamping, så idag blir det en dotticure istället.

Jag har valt att ta det ljust lila China Glaze Sweet Hook som bas, en lack som jag för övrigt nästan använt upp flaskan av, prickarna är sen gjorda av NYX Girls Between Mauve and Purple och Zoya Monica.

En gullig manikyr där jag tycker att färgerna blev riktigt bra tillsammans.

When a new month begins and also a new theme in The Nail Challenge Collaborative I always think that it's cool, I have plenty of time to fix this. And then it's the same every month. I sit and realize that oops it's the last week of the month and I have not showed four different manicures on the chosen theme!

So, the last week of January starts tomorrow and by showing manicure #3 today that means that one more purple manicure will show up later the upcoming week. 

My thought was that it would not only be stamping among the four manicures, two have already been such even if they have been of different types of stamping, so today there will be a dotticure instead.

I have chosen to take the bright purple China Glaze Sweet Hook as a base, a polish which I actually almost have used up the whole bottle of, and the dots are then made of NYX Girls Between Mauve and Purple and Zoya Monica.

A cute manicure where I think the colors looks really good together.

Reader's Choice - Powder Perfect Ghostlike Charm

Det första jag gjorde när jag hade ätit frukost imorse var att klä mig varmt och ut och fota soluppgången bakom snöklädda träden. Det är så gudomligt vackert ute och idag var det inte så fruktansvärt kallt heller.

Sen satte jag mig och målade med dagens läsarnas val lack, så det är nylackat jag bjuder på idag. Lacket är Powder Perfect Ghostlike Charm från Color4Nails Holiday Box 2015. Ett gråbrunt holo som även har guldskimmer.

Det här var riktigt trevligt att måla med och täcker utan problem på två lager. Torktiden var också bra. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Färgmässigt så skulle jag kalla det här för jordtonat eller neutralt, men sen har det ju tillsatts en jättevacker holoeffekt och ett skimmer på det. Så även om färgen är neutral, så skulle jag inte kalla lacket för det. Nä, det är en riktig lite pärla måste jag säga. Powder Perfect är fantastiskt duktiga på att göra gråa, bruna och lite ljusare färger intressanta, men ändå behålla den lite nedtonade stilen.

Jag gillar det här massor och faktum är att jag dras lite till den här typen av lack just nu. Lite svalare, nedtonat, lugna lack.

Veckans omröstning är med lack som random.org har valt ut åt mig.

The first thing I did when I had eaten my breakfast this morning was to dress warm and go out and take pictures of the sunrise behind the snow-covered trees. It is so divinely beautiful out there and today it wasn't so horribly cold either.

Then I sat down and painted with today's readers' choice polish so this is really fresh pictures. The polish is Powder Perfect Ghostlike Charm from Color4Nails Holiday Box 2015. A brown/grey holo which also has a gold shimmer.

This was really nice to paint with and covers without trouble in two layers. The drying time was also good. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

Color wise, I would call this earth toned or neutral, but then it also has this beautiful holo and a very nice shimmer to it. So even if the color is neutral, I would not call the polish that. Nah, it's a real jewel, I must say. Powder Perfect is incredibly talented at making gray, brown and a little lighter colors interesting, but still keep it toned down.

I like this a lot and for some reason I'm really drawn to this type of colors right now. The earthtoned, calm, cooler polishes.
