Purrfect Pawlish - Colour Out Of Space

Förra helgen var vi som sagt på konsert och självklart vill man vara lite extra fin då. Uppklädd med kjol, blus och knalligt lila strumpor ville jag ju matcha med lika fina naglar.

Valet föll på Purrfect Pawlish Colour Out Of Space från The Lovecraft kollektionen som kom tidigare i år. Det här lacket matchade mina strumpor alldeles perfekt faktiskt.

Det här är ett glitterlack byggt på en klar bas med massor av microglitter i lila, rosa och prismatiskt. Det är riktigt suveränt att måla med och täcker med två lager. Däremot så är det som många andra glitterlack ett sånt man behöver mycket topplack till. På bilderna har jag två lager topplack. Inte för att det egentligen blir så ojämnt utanför att lacket helt enkelt äter upp topplacket och blir matt.

Colour Out Of Space är helt fantastiskt vackert och jag tyckte själv att jag hade snyggast naglar i hela arenan.

Last weekend we were, as I said at a concert and of course I wanted to dress up and be extra nice looking. All dressed up with a skirt, blouse and a pair of bright purple stockings I wanted to match with just as nice nails.

The choice fell on Purrfect Pawlish Colour Out Of Space from The Lovecraft collection, which came earlier this year. This polish matched my stockings absolutely perfectly.

This is a glitter polish built on a clear base with lots of micro glitter in purple, pink and prismatic. It's quite superior to work with and covers in two layers. However, it does need lot's of topcoat but that is not uncommon for a glitterpolish. In the pictures I have two layers of topcoat. Not that it really becomes a very uneven surface but simply because it seems like the glitter eats up the topcoat and leaves the surface a bit dull. 

Colour Out Of Space is absolutely amazing beautiful and at least I thought I had the best looking nails in the whole stadium.

OPI - Green On The Runway

Idag blir det ett lack från förra årets Coca Cola kollektion som OPI gav ut. Jag har bara två lack från den och mer lär det inte bli men dom där två är riktiga höjdare.

Dagens lack är Green On The Runway som ska vara inspirerat av Sprite och är duochrome från grön till en rödtonad brun nyans. Formulan var det absolut inget fel på, men jag har ändå tre lager för full täckning och bilderna är det topplack också. Torktiden var helt ok.

Ni har hört det förr och ni kommer få höra det hur många gånger som helst från mig förmodligen, men varför lät jag det här stå i lådan så länge, det är ju riktigt snyggt!

För jag gillar verkligen det här lacket. Skiftningarna i det är superfina och färgerna i sig tilltalar mig väldigt mycket. Ett sånt där lack som får en att känna sig elegant på något sätt utan att för den delen egentligen vara speciellt märkvärdigt. En höjdare även för en som inte dricker läsk.

Today I will show you a polish from last year's Coca Cola collection from OPI. I only have two polishes from it and I don't think there will be more but those two are really nice ones.

Today's polish is Green On The Runway that is said to be inspired by Sprite and is duochrome with shifts from green to a reddish brown. The formula was perfectly normal, but I still have three coats for full coverage and also topcoat in the photos. The drying time was ok.

You have heard it before and you will hear it many more times from me,  but why have I let this stand in the drawer for so long, it's really neat!

Because I really like this polish. The shifts in it are super nice and the colors themselves appeals to me very much. One of those polishes that makes you feel stylish in  a way without for that matter actually be especially remarkable. A treat even for one who doesn't drink soda.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents- Funky French #1

Den här månadens tema i The Nail Challenge Collaborative är Funky French ett tema som jag kanske inte är så supertaggad över. Jag kan väl i och för sig tycka att det är fint med fransk manikyr, men samtidigt lite tråkigt kanske. Fast som sagt nu var det ju Funky det hette och då kanske det trots allt inte behöver bli så trist...

I alla fall så tycker jag inte själv att min första manikyr är tråkig på något sätt, sen är det väl kanske ett gränsfall om det kan ingå i fransk eller inte, men jag bestämde att den fick göra det.

Det jag har gjort är en waterfall manikyr med Sealore Beluga Blizzard som bas. Sen har jag gjort smala streck från nagelkanten och nedåt med ett gäng rosa lack. För det är ju trots allt Oktober och vi börjar närma oss vår temavecka United In Pink. Men hela Oktober är ju faktiskt en rosa månad så jag tyckte det var passande att använda det till den här manikyren också.

De rosa lacken jag har använt är: Zoya Rory, Smitten Date Night, OPI Girls Love Ponies och Purrfect Pawlish Fresh Sorbet.

Det här tycker jag blev snyggt!

This month's theme in The Nail Challenge Collaborative is Funky French a theme that I might not be so super psyched over. It's not that I don't like French manicures but I might think they are a bit boring. Though as I said this is Funky French so maybe after all it might not be so boring...

Anyway, I don't think that my first manicure is boring in any way but perhaps it's a borderline case if it can be part of a French or not, but I decided that it could.

What I have done is a waterfall manicure with Sealore Beluga Blizzard as a base. Then I made narrow streaks from the nail edge and down with a bunch of pink polishes. For it is after all October and we are approaching our theme week United In Pink. But the whole October is actually a pink month so I thought it was fitting to use that color for this manicure too.

The pink polishes I have used are: Zoya Rory, Smitten Date Night, OPI Girls Love Ponies and Purrfect Pawlish Fresh sorbet.

I think this turned out really great!

Fairy-Flowers!

Appeal4 Fairy-tale var allt för lockande att lägga ett mönster över för att låta bli.

Jag har använt ett mönster från MoYou London Pro 06 och stämplat med China Glaze Emotion.

Själv tycker jag att det här blev en mycket lyckad kombo, både färg och mönstermässigt.

I have used a pattern from MoYou London Pro 06 and stamped with China Glaze Emotion.

Personally, I think this was a very successful combo, both color and pattern wise.

China Glaze - My Way Or The Highway

Om man inte visat lacken man köpte ur vårkollektionerna är det kanske på tiden nu. Idag blir det China Glaze My Way Or The Highway ur deras Road Trip kollektion. Det här var det enda lacket som jag köpte från den faktiskt.

Det här beskrivs som turkost och det kanske man kan säga även om jag kanske tycker det är i grönaste laget för det. Formulan var lite knepig. Liksom lite rinnig på något sätt och ändå blev det bäst om man tog lite tjockare lager. Fast just det här har vi varit med om på China Glaze lack förut.

Täckte bra gjorde det i alla fall och på bilderna har jag två lager utan topplack, så ni ser att det är en himla fin glans i lacket precis som det är.

Jag gillar det här. Färgen är fin och vilsam och ett snyggt krämlack tycker jag är något av det bästa som finns faktiskt. Kanske för att jag alltid får massa nailart idéer.

 

If you haven't shown the polishes from the spring collections by now maybe it's time to do that. Today, it's China Glaze My Way Or The Highway from their Road Trip collection. This was the only polish I bought from it in fact.

This is described as turquoise and perhaps one can say that even though I may think it's a bit too green for that. The formula was a bit tricky. Like a little runny in some way and yet it was best if you took thicker layers. But we have seen that before in China Glazes polishes right?.

It covers relly nice anyway I only needed two layers and that is what I have in the pictures and no topcoat. So you see that it is a really nice finish in this polish. 

I like this. The color is nice and restful and I always likes nice cremes one of my favorite finishes actually. Maybe because I always get lot of nail art ideas.
