The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents - Travel #3

Dags för manikyr nummer 3 på ämnet resor. Jag har verkligen tolkat det här ämnet väldigt fritt, för idag tar jag er med på en resa ut i rymden. Många drömmer om att kunna göra detta, dock inte jag. En flygresa då och då är ok, men ändå ut i rymden har jag ingen längtan att ta mig.

Jag är faktiskt grymt nöjd med att bara vara hemma och faktiskt ha vatten i kranarna!

Det här är mitt första försök till Galaxy Nails. Jag följde en tutorial av Nails By Kizzy på YouTube. Vill inte precis påstå att mina blev likadana, men jag är ändå rätt nöjd får jag lov att säga.

Lacken jag har använt är följande: Misa A Sin Worth Committing, Gosh Blue Ballon, China Glaze Electric Beat, Depend 335, Zoya Raven & Purity.

Får jag godkänt?

Time for manicure number 3 on the subject travel. I really have interpreted this subject very freely, for today I take you on a trip into space. Many people dream of being able to do this, but not me. A flight now and then is ok, but all the way into space is not for me

I'm actually really satisfied with just being at home and actually have water in the taps!

This is my first attempt at Galaxy Nails. I followed a tutorial of Nails By Kizzy on YouTube. I wouldn't say that mine turned up like hers but I am still quite satisfied I must say.

The polishes I have used are: Misa A Sin Worth Committing, Gosh Blue Ballon, China Glaze Electric Beat, Depend 335, Zoya Raven & Purity.

The Neverending Story Challenge - Superficially Colorful Lacquer Utral Aymokriyä

Jag har gått in i lite semesterläge så det lär inte bli inlägg varje dag ett tag framöver. Bl.a så kan jag inte lova att det blir något läsarnas val denna veckan för om allt går som det ska, vilket det inte gör just nu då vi är utan vatten... så ska vi befinna oss på Öland i helgen.

Min tanke hade var att måla med förra veckans vinnare i läsarnas val och förbereda det inlägget, men plötsligt så sitter jag med ett helt annat lack på naglarna och ett som istället passar in i veckans The Neverending Story Challenges tema.

Superficially Colorful Lacquers Life Of Pandora kollektion innehåller helt fantastiska lack och Utral Aymokriyä är ett av dom. Det här är ett lilarött holo som gränsar till neon skulle jag säga. Det torkar matt och är riktigt skarpt i färgen. Holoeffekten är dock ganska svag, men lyfter ändå lacket på ett fint sätt.

Formulan är jättebra och två lager kändes lagom. Torktiden är också riktigt bra. Det här torkar som sagt matt, men det var inte jag sugen på så på bilderna har jag topplack på.

Det här är verkligen ett lack i min stil. Lite ettrigt lila som gnistrar fint solen. Då känner jag mig lycklig.

I have gone into vacation mode so it is not likely that I will post every day for a while. Among others, I can't promise that there will be a readers' choice this week because if all goes as it should and not like right now because we are without water ... we will find ourselves on Öland this weekend.

My idea was to paint with last week's winner of the readers' choices and prepare the post, but suddenly I sit with a completely different polish on the nails and a polish that instead fits into this week's The Neverending Story Challenge theme.

Superficially Colorful Lacquers Life Of Pandora collection contains absolutely stunning polishes and Utral Aymokriyä is one of them. This is a purple polish with lots of red in it bordering to a neon I would say and also with a subtile holo.. It dries matte and is really sharp in color. The holo is as I said subtile but still gives the polish something extra.

The formula is great and two layers is enough. The drying time is also really good. This dries as I said matte but I felt like something shiny so I have topcoat on in the pictures. 

This is really a polish in my style. A little fiery purple that sparkle nicely in the sun. That makes me feel happy.

The Neverending Story Challenge - Celestial Blitzen's Budgie Smuggler

Idag tänker jag visa mitt bidrag till veckans tema i The Neverending Story Challenge som är Holo eller Rosa. Eller en kombo om man nu känner för det. Det kanske blir mer inlägg i utmaningen under veckan, men jag är lite dålig på planera just nu.

Men i alla fall så sitter jag här och nästan skäms lite över att jag inte använt det här lacket tidigare. Jag hade sucktat efter det Celestial Blitzen's Budgie Smuggler ett tag när Edgy Polish fick in det i lager precis när jag behövde något extra fint att trösta mig själv lite med. Det här var i Februari 2014, men som så ofta med dom där lacken som vill ha allra mest så blev det stående i lådan tills idag. För nu sitter det på mina naglar och ser ljuvligt ut när jag ska åka till en jobbarkompis och fika.

Blitzen's Budgie Smuggler är ett mörkt lila lack med klart röda toner. Jag har sett att en del tycker det är vinrött med lila, men jag hävdar nog att det är lila i botten i alla fall. Lacket har riktigt starka och fina regnbågar, men jag tycker det är riktigt fint även när man har klorna i skuggan.

Jag har tre lager och topplack på bilderna. Antar att det skulle kunna räcka med två lager också, men jag tyckte det blev lite mer djup i lacket med tre. Torktiden var riktigt bra och det var mycket trevligt att måla med.

Det här mina vänner är ett helt fantastiskt lack som jag visar er med lite skam eftersom jag tyvärr inte tror det går att få tag på längre. Så får du syn på det här i någon blogsale eller liknande slå till fort!

Today I will show my contribution to this week's theme in The Neverending Story Challenge which is Holo or pink. Or a combo if you feel like doing that. It might become more posts in the challenge during the week, but I'm so not planning anything right now. 

But anyway, I sit here and almost feel a bit embarrassed over the fact that I have not used this polish before. I had longed for Celestial Blitzen's Budgie Smuggler a while when Edgy Polish had it in stock again just when I needed something extra nice to console myself a little. This was in February 2014, but as so often with those polishes that are your biggest lemmings I have just let it stand unused until today. Because this is on my nails right now and it looks lovely. Perfect manicure for a visit to a workmate after lunch. 

Blitzen's Budgie Smuggler is a dark purple polish with clear red tones. I have seen that some think it is burgundy with purple, but I do think it is purple as a base color. The polish has really strong and fine rainbows, but I think it's really nice even when you have your claws in the shade.

I have three coats and top coats in the pictures. I guess it could be enough with two layers too, but I thought that it got more depth in the polish with three. The drying time was really good and it was very nice to paint with.

This my friends is an absolutely fantastic polish that I show you with a bit of shame because, unfortunately, I dont think you can buy it anymore. So if you find it in a blog sale or similar just buy it!

Purrfect Pawlish - Fresh Sorbet

Purrfect Pawlish släpper sin Summer Date Trio kollektion den 24/7 och idag visar jag lack nummer tre från den. Och jag tror att jag sparat godbiten till sist.

Det här är Fresh Sorbet och ni som följer mig vet att jag älskar bl.a Dagon från Purrfect Pawlish och det här är Dagons syster. Helt ljuvligt hallonrosa glitterlack. Färgen stämmer faktiskt rätt väl överrens med hallonsorbet som namnet antyder tycker jag. Det här är ju dessutom fullproppat med prismatiskt glitter och jag kan bara säga att det är helt ljuvligt.

Det är tjockt så man skulle kanske kunna få det att täcka på två lager, men jag har två något tunnare. Som de flesta glitterlack så äter det topplack. På bilderna har jag två lager topplack och dagen efter skulle jag mycket väl kunnat lägga på ett lager till. Torktiden är snabb.

Fresh Sorbet har suttit på mina naglar ett antal dagar och jag tycker det är urtjusigt. Speciellt soliga dagar när man är ute och verkligen ser hur mycket det här gnistrar.

Purrfect Pawlish releases its Summer Date Trio collection on the 24th of July and today I show you the last of the polishes from the collection. And I think I saved the best for last. 

This is Fresh Sorbet and you who follow me know that I love Dagon from Purrfect Pawlish and this is Dagon's sister. Totally sweet raspberry pink glitter polish. The color line is actually right well with raspberry sorbet as the name suggests. This is totally packed with prismatic glitter and I can only say that it's absolutely adorable.

It is thick so I guess you could get it to cover in only one layer, but I have two slightly thinner. As most glitter polishes it eats topcoat. In the pictures I have two layers of topcoat and the day after I could easily added another layer. The drying time is quick.

Fresh Sorbet has been sitting on my nails a number of days and I think it's simply gorgeous. Especially on sunny days when you are out and really see how much this sparkle.

Purrfect Pawlish - Pink Champagne

Idag visar jag lack nummer två ur Purrfect Pawlishs Summer Date Trio kollektion som släpps den 24/7.

Pink Champagne var nog det lacket av dom tre som jag var minst imponerad av när jag såg dom i flaskorna, men jag måste säga att det här blev väldigt snyggt på naglarna. Det här är ett mörkt gammelrosa lack med en svag holoeffekt i. Två lager räcker för full täckning och torktiden är bra. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Utan holo hade det här lacket förmodligen varit rätt tråkigt, men nu blir det helt annorlunda. Jag gillade det här bra mycket mer än förväntat.

Kollektionen heter ju Summer Date Trio och är inspirerad av allt som gör en riktigt romantisk sommardate perfekt och självklart ingår ju rosa Champagne i en sådan. Själv är jag mer imponerad av lacket än av riktigt rosa Champagne.

Today I have polish number two from Purrfect Pawlishs Summer Date Trio collection, which will be released on the 24th of July.

Pink Champagne was probably the polish of the trio that attracted me the least from just looking at the bottles but I must say that I changed my mind once I got it on the nails. This is a dark pink polish with a soft holoeffect. Two layers is enough for full coverage and the drying time is good. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

Without the holo I think this polish probably would have been quite boring, but now it's a completely different story. I liked this a lot more than I expected.

The collection is called the Summer Date Trio and is inspired by everything that makes a really romantic summer date perfect and obviously that includes pink champagne. I'm actually more impressed by the polish than the the taste of real pink Champagne.
