Suki Waves!

Ibland får man för sig att testa färgkombinationer som inte borde blivit ok. Som t.ex när man har Smitten Endless Sunset på naglarna och plockar fram Mundo De Unas 72 Mint en lite udda kombo kan tyckas, men jag kunde inte låta bli att testa.

Jag hittade ett mönster på MoYou London Suki Collection 01 plattan som ser ut som vågor och gav mig på projektet.

Och ta mig tusan om det inte funkade riktigt bra ihop!

Sometimes you get ideas of testing color combinations that is not obvious that they will work together. Such as when you have Smitten Endless Sunset on the nails and brings up Mundo De Unas 72 Mint which is a bit odd combo, but I could not resist testing.

I found a pattern on MoYou London Suki Collection 01 plate that looks like waves and started my project.

And I'll be damned they did work really well together!

ABC Challenge - X or a number = Perfect 69

Något lack vars märke eller namn började på X hade jag inte så jag fick köra på en siffra istället. Idag visar jag mitt sista Perfect lack som har nummer 69 (tror jag).

Märket är från Ungern och jag har fått dom genom ett byte för länge sedan. Det här lacket ser ut att vara skiftande mellan grått och lila i flaskan och det är det nog också, men väldigt blygsamt får jag lov att säga. Visst skiftar det, men man får stå där det är bra ljus för att se det.

I vilket fall som helst så var det smidigt att måla med. Täcker på tre lager. Däremot var torktiden lite seg tyckte jag.

Lacket är fint, men inte något som man blir hänförd av direkt. Ett mellanlack helt enkelt.

 

I didn't have any polishes with a brand or name that started on the letter X so I had to take one with only a number instead today. This is the last polish that I have from Perfect and it's called  69 (I think).

The brand is from Hungary and I have got them through a swap long ago. This polish looks as it should be shifting between gray and purple in the bottle and it probably is too, but with a very shy shift. Sure it changes, but one must stand where there is good light to see it.

In any case, it was easy to paint with. Covers in three layers. The drying time is a bit slow though.

The polish is nice but not something that one gets mesmerized by. One of those polishes that you like but maybe wont be using again.

Green & Gold

Grönt och guld blir sällan fel ihop och speciellt inte när man har ett så fint lack som China Glaze Agro som bas. Det är ju ganska mycket guldskimmer i det så jag kunde givetvis inte låta bli att lägga ett mönster i just guld ovanpå.

Jag valde ett mönster från MoYou London Pro collection 06 och stämplade med Mundo De Unas 17 gold.

Tycker själv att det blev väldigt snyggt och trivdes mycket bra i manikyren.

Green and gold are rarely wrong together and especially not when you have such a beautiful polish as China Glaze Agro as the base. It's a lot of gold shimmer in it so I could obviously not resist adding a pattern in gold on top of it.

I chose a pattern from MoYou London Pro collection 06 and stamped with Mundo De Una's 17 gold.

I Think that it became really nice and loved wearing this manicure. 

Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Smitten Polish Endless Sunset

Den här helgen har Katarina på Edgy Polish premiär för sin nya webbdesign för butiken. Snygg uppdaterad butik med mycket kul. Och som av en händelse så är det faktiskt ett för Edgy Polish exklusivt lack som ni valde som denna veckans läsarnas val.

Smitten Polish Endless Sunset är det som ni röstade fram rätt enhälligt kan jag säga. Och nu blev det ju extra kul att visa det just idag.

Endless Sunset är ett persiko/korall färgat lack med prismatiskt glitter. Det är faktiskt nästan lite neonkänsla på det. En riktigt fin färg som jag misstänker blir ännu finare om man fått lite solbränna på sig.

Lacket är väldigt bra att måla med. Täcker på två lager och torkar fort. Jag har ett lager med Digital Flash på fotona också.

Jag brukar inte vara så förtjust i lack som lutar åt korall hållet, men det här gillar jag skarpt. Härlig färg och glittret är helt ljuvligt i solen.

Smitten Polish Endless Sunset is what you voted unanimously for I can say. And this way it became even more fun for me to show this today. 

Endless Sunset is a peach/coral colored polish with prismatic glitter. It's actually almost a little neon sense of it. A really nice color which I suspect will be even nicer if you have some tan.

The polish is very good to paint with. It covers in two layers and dries quickly. I have a layer of Digital Flash over it in the photos.

I tend not to be so fond of polishes that leans towards the coral side, but I like this one a lot. Lovely color and the glitter is absolutely adorable in the sun.

China Glaze - Agro

Idag tänkte jag visa er en av mina absoluta favoriter. Tankarna finns på att kanske göra en favoritvecka igen, men vi får ser hur det blir med det.

Det här är i alla fall China Glaze Agro ett av dom vackraste gröna lacken jag har. Ett olivgrönt lack med guldskimmer. Dessutom är det riktigt bra att måla med. China Glaze när dom är som bäst. Två lager och topplack och sen är du färdig.

Agro släpptes i Capitol City/Hunger Games kollektionen 2012 och jag kan nog säga att det här var ett av mina första stora lack kärlekar. Och har fortsatt vara en favorit. Nu var det faktiskt ganska länge sedan jag bar det och samma härliga känsla infann sig igen när jag satt där och målade.

Det här är helt klart ett lack som jag återkommer till och speciellt om jag har svårt att bestämma vilket jag vill ha eller bara vill ta ett säkert kort på en gång.

Today I will show you one of my absolute favorites. I have some thoughts on having another favorite week, but we'll see what happens with that.

This is in any case China Glaze Agro one of the most beautiful green polishes I have. An olive green polish with gold shimmer. Moreover, it is really good to paint with. China Glaze when they are at their best. Two coats and top coat and then you're done.

Agro was released in 2012 with the Capitol City / Hunger Games Collection and I can say that this was one of my first big polish loves. And has continued to be a favorite. It was some time since I last wore it and the same glorious feeling turned up again when I sat there and painted with it. 

It is a polish that I keep returning too and also a polish that I tend to use when I have problems deciding on what to use or just want to play it safe.
