A-England - Fated Prince

Det var länge sedan jag visade ett A-England lack här så det är väl absolut på tiden. Finns en hel del från deras nyare kollektioner som jag gärna skulle vilja ha, men har inte riktigt kommit mig för att köpa några.

Idag blir det i alla fall Fated Prince ett fantastiskt fint grått holo med klara stänk av grönt i sig. Som vanligt så tycker jag att det är suveränt att måla med. A-England är ju trots allt ett av mina favoritmärken. Täcker utan problem på två lager och torkar fort.

Jag har ett lager med topplack över också.

Det här är ett lack som jag tycker väldigt mycket om. Jag trivs verkligen i den här typen av grå ton.

 

It's been a long time since I showed an A-England polish so it's about time I think. There are a lot of polishes from their newer collections that I would like to have, but haven' bought yet.

Today anyway I will show you Fated Prince a fantastic gray holo with traces of green in it. As usual, I think it's great to paint with. A-England is after all one of my favorite brands. Covers effortlessly on two coats and dries quickly.

I have a layer of top coat over too.

This is a polish that I like very much. I feel really comfortable in this type of gray.

Darling Diva Polish - GTO

Igår var vi på Elmia Custom Motor Show hela dagen efter att ha bestämt det lite hastigt och lustigt på morgonen. Därav avsaknaden av inlägg igår.

Passande nog så bestämde jag mig för att fortsätta på motortemat och har idag lackat med Darling Diva Polish GTO ett av lacken ur Muscle Car kollektionen.

GTO är ett glitterlack med klar bas och sen packat med härligt gräsgrönt glitter i olika storlekar. Man kan lägga det här över något annat lack eller använda på egen hand. Bägge delar funkar lika bra. Jag har valt att visa det på egen hand.

Tre lager är vad som krävs. Torktiden är helt ok och glittret sprider ut sig utan problem på nageln. Däremot är det här som många andra lack lite topplacks slukare. På bilderna har jag ett lager av Digital Flash, men jag kommer nog lägga på ett till tror jag.

Vad ska jag säga om det här lacket mer än att det är suveränt. Nä, det finns inte så mycket att tillägga. Det är fin färg, härligt bling-bling och från ett av mina favorit Indiemärken.

Yesterday we were at the Elmia Custom Motor Show here in Sweden the whole day after a hast desicion in the morning. Hence the lack of posts yesterday.

To keep to motor theme running I decided to paint with Darling Diva Polish GTO one of the polishes from the Muscle Car collection.

GTO is a glitter polish with clear base and is then packed with beautiful grass green glitter in various sizes. You can put this over another polish or use it on it's own. Both parts work just as well. I have chosen to use it on it's own.

Three layers is what is required. The drying time is quite ok and the glitter spreads out without any problems on the nail. However, this is a glitterpolish and it does eat the topcoat. In the pictures, I have one layer of Digital Flash, but I will probably add one more.

What should I say about this polish more than that it is gorgeous. Nah, there's not much to add. It's a nice color, beautiful bling-bling and from one of my favorite Indie Brands.

Glad Påsk! - Happy Easter!

Idag är det Långfredag och solen skiner därute på makens nya orangefärgade bil! Snart dags att göra sig i ordning för påsklunch hos mamma.

Självklart kunde jag ju inte låta bli att göra lite kycklingar på naglarna så här lagom till påsken. Kom på efteråt att jag nog skulle gjort svarta ögon med vita prickar, men nu blev det inte så och jag gillar dom som dom är. Dessutom blev dom poppis på jobbet.

Det jag använt mig av är: Zoya Purity, Raven, Thandie och Dreamy plus Nail Vinyls för att få snygga kanter på äggskalet.

Today is Good Friday and the sun shines outside on my husband's new orange car! Soon time to get ready for Easter lunch with mum.

I could not resist doing little chickens on the nails to celebrate Easter. I realised afterwards that I probably should have done black eyes with white dots, but well I didn't and I like them as they are. And they got some attention at my work as well.

I used: Zoya Purity, Raven, Thandie and Dreamy plus Nail Vinyls to get fancy edges of the egg shell.

ABC Challenge - R = Rica Unicorn Dandruff

Sista jobbardagen för denna veckan. Känns väldigt skönt, det har i och för sig funkat bra att jobba, men jösses vad trött jag är!

Idag är det bokstaven R som gäller i vårt ABC Challenge och jag passade på att plocka fram ett glitter som jag tänkte skulle passa över China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint som redan satt på naglarna. 

Lacket är från ett för mig nytt märke. Det är Rica Unicorn Dandruff som jag plockat upp ur lådan. Ett glitterlack med klar bas, neongrönt, tealfärgat och vitt glitter. En kul och glad kombination som jag dessutom tycker blev bra över det mintgröna. 

Däremot så var det återigen ett lack som inte var speciellt samarbetsvilligt. Glittren flyter inte alls ut smidigt utan man får sitta och dutta dit dom och fiska upp ur flaskan. Synd för jag gillar verkligen färgerna i det här. 

Last working day of this week. That feels very good, I was a bit nervous about starting work again but it has been good. But I am so tired!

Today we have the letter R in our ABC Challenge and I took the opportunity to pick up a glitter that I thought would fit over China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint who I already had on the nails.

The polish is from a for me new brand. It is Rica Unicorn Dandruff which I picked up from the drawer. A glitter polish with clear base, neon green, tealcoloured and white glitter. A fun and happy combination that I also think worked well over the mint green.

In contrast, it was again a polish that was not very cooperative. The glitter didn't spread easily at all you had to dabb them on to the nail and fish them up from the bottle. Too bad because I really like the colors in this.

Grön Onsdag - China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint

Idag blir det en klassiker här hos mig. Och dessutom ett lack som passar in på Karins Gröna Onsdag.

För det tycker jag absolut man kan kalla China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint för. Ett alldeles perfekt vårlack tycker jag som släpptes med kollektionen Up & Away 2010.

Re-Fresh Mint är ett ljust pastelligt mintgrönt krämlack. Som många andra pasteller så blir det lätt lite strimmigt när man målar med det här, men topplack jämnar ut det hela.

Jag har två lager av lacket och ett lager med Digital Flash. Och jag måste säga att det här är så fint. Verkligen en härlig färg som tilltalar mig. Det finns givetvis en hel uppsjö med liknande färger hos andra märken, men jag tycker verkligen att det är värt att äga i alla fall någon av dom om man som jag gillar grönt.

Vilken är er favorit när det gäller mintgröna pasteller?

Today I'm going to show you a classic polish. And also a polish that fits in to Karins Green Wednesday. 

Because I absolutely think that you can call China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint that. An absolutely perfect polish for spring I think. This polish was released with the Up & Away collection in 2010.

Re-Fresh Mint is a bright pastel mint green creme polish. Like many other pastels it does become a bit streaky when you apply it, but topcoat smooths it all out.

I have two layers of Re-Fresh Mint and a layer of Digital Flash. And I must say that this is so nice. Truly a lovely color that appeals to me. There are of course a whole bunch of similar colors on other brands, but I really think it is worth owning at least one of them if you like green.
