The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Inspired By Fashion - Red Roses

Dags för sista posten med manikyr inspirerad av mode. Jag hittade en klänning som jag kände direkt att den här vill jag göra en manikyr utifrån och jag måste säga att jag är väldigt nöjd med hur det hela blev.

Klänningen har ett svart läderliv och svart kjol med ett tunt spetstyg med tryckta röda rosor på. Jag hade först tänkt att ha ett svart krämlack som bas, men när jag hade lagt på Picture Polish Starry Night tänkt jag att det kunde nog bli bra med lite glittrig bakgrund.

Rosorna kommer från Bundle Monster 323 och den röda färgen är Mundo De Unas 32 Reddish.

Jag gillar både klänningen och naglarna. Satt faktiskt och smålog för mig själv när jag gjorde det här för jag var så nöjd.

Time for the last post with a manicure inspired by fashion. I found a dress that I immediately felt that I wanted to do a manicure based on and I must say I am very pleased with how it all turned out.

The dress has a black leathertop and black skirt with a thin lace fabric with printed red roses over. I had originally planned to have a black creme polish as a base, but when I had put on Picture Polish Starry Night I thought that why not a sparkly one instead. 

The roses come from Bundle Monster 323 and the red color is Mundo De Unas 32 Reddish.

I like both the dress and nails. I actually sat and smiled to myself when I did this because I was so happy with the outcome.

ABC Challenge - P = Picture Polish Starry Night

P får representeras av Picture Polish Starry Night ett lack som är skapat i samarbete med ägare till nätbutiken Llarowe. Det här är ett sånt där lack som jag alltid faller för. Svart och mystiskt på något sätt. Eller som en svart stjärnhimmel precis som namnet föreslår.

Och visst är det ett jättefint lack. Jag tycker absolut det, men jag är ändå inte riktigt kompis med det. För återigen så har jag gått och köpt ett jelly lack. För att få det så svart som man vill ha det krävs fyra lager. Torktiden är bra som tur är och över det hela har jag topplack.

Jag måste ju säga att jag tycker det finns andra svarta lack med prismatiskt glitter som jag nog hellre rekommenderade som t.ex Zoya Storm och detta är enbart för de fyra lagren skull för färgmässigt så har jag absolut inget att klaga på. Nä, det är vackert som en stjärnklar natt.

P is represented by Picture Polish Starry Night a polish that is created in cooperation with the owner of the online store Llarowe. This is one of those polihses that I always fall for. Black and mysterious in some way. Or as a black starry sky just as the name suggests.

And it is a very nice  polish. I definitely think so, but I'm still not really friendly with it. For once again I've gone and bought a jelly polish. To make it look really black you need to have four layers on. The drying time is good, fortunately, and over it all, I have a layer of topcoat.

I have to say that I think there are other black polishes with prismatic glitter that I would rather recommended such as Zoya Storm for an example and this is only for the four layers sake because the colors is not something have anything to complain about. Nah, it's beautiful like a starry night.

Grön Onsdag - Mentality Provoke

Kallt och blåsigt ute, typiskt när jag ville fota vårblommor.

Idag har jag målat med Mentality Provoke en blekt grön holo jellychrome med glassfleck och trevliga skiftningar i.

Provoke är nog det av Jellychrome lacken jag provat som jag gillar mest. Mina bilder visar tyvärr inte riktigt hur det här skiftar över i rosa/lila på ett mycket trevligt sätt.

Lacket var bra att måla med och jag har två lager som räcker bra. Inte supersnabb torktid, men med ett bra topplack är det inga problem. Jag har Digital Flash över.

Jag gillar det här lacket. Trevlig färg och fina skiftningar. Dessutom så passar det ju in på Karins Gröna Onsdag också.

It's cold and windy outside, typically when I wanted to take pictures of spring flowers.

Today I have painted with Mentality Provoke a pale green holo jellychrome with glass fleck and shifts between green and pink/purple.

Provoke is probably the one of the Jelly Chrome polishes that I tried that I like the most. My pictures doesn't really show how this changes over to pink / purple in a very nice way.

The polish was good to paint with and I have two layers on and that is enough. Not super fast drying, but with a good topcoat is no problem. I have Digital Flash over.

I like this polish. Pleasant color and nice shiftings. And it also fits in on Karins Green Wednesday.

ABC Challenge - O = OPI DS Extravagance

Jag har faktiskt använt det här lacket en gång tidigare, men då i en nail art och tro mig det här förtjänar att visas på egen hand också.

Lacket som får representera bokstaven O är OPI DS Extravagance. Jag vet att jag fick hem det här i Januari 2013 för jag hittade nämligen den gamla beställningen som det här var med i på Phoenix Beauty Lounge och jag vet också att det här var ett sånt där lack som jag var bara var tvungen att ha för det var så vackert.

Och det är verkligen magiskt vackert. En mörk lila färg med holo. Det står ju för tusan Helena på det här. Jag kan faktiskt inte förstå att jag låtit detta stå och vänta så här.

Smidigt att lacka med var det också. Två lager räcker och det torkar fort. Jag har Digital Flash på det också.

Ljuvligt lack som jag definitivt inte ångrar att jag köpte.

 

I've actually used this polish once before, but then in a nail art and believe me this deserves to be shown on it's own as well.

The polish that will represent the letter O is OPI DS Extravagance. I know I got this is in January 2013 because I found that particular order at Phoenix Beauty Lounge and I also know that this was one of those polishes that I just had to have because it looked so beautiful.

And it really is magically beautiful. A dark purple color with holo. It's one of those polishes that has my name written all over the bottle. I actually can't believe I let this stand and wait like this.

It was really smooth to paint with it. Two coats is enough and it dries fast. I've Digital Flash on it too.

This is soo beautiful and stylish and I definitely do not regret that I bought it.

Endless Stripes!

Jag skrev ju att Misa Endless Keys inte föll mig riktigt i smaken på grund av att det blev för mycket VNL.

Vad göra? Jo självklart fixar man till någon typ av mönster på tipparna för att dölja detta faktum. Jag har gjort en väldigt enkel men effektiv uppdatering.

Med hjälp av stripingpensel har jag lagt till svarta diagonala streck och lite lite guld också faktiskt och vips så känns det helt annorlunda och mycket bättre.

I wrote that Misa Endless Keys not really was my kind of polish because it was too much VNL.

What to do? Well of course you fix this with some kind of  pattern on the tips to hide this fact. I made a very simple but effective updating.

With the help of a stripingbrush I added black diagonal stripes and a little bit of gold also actually and suddenly it feels completely different and much better.
