It's quiet here..

Då blev det ytterst ofrivilligt tyst här igen. Förra veckan gick jag igenom två akuta operationer. Allt har gått bra, jag mår dock fortfarande inge vidare så vi får se när jag orkar fixa till några inlägg. Viljan finns, men tyvärr inte orken riktigt ännu. Men jag hoppas på att vara tillbaka snart.

I'm sorry for the silence. Last week I went through two emergency surgerys. Everything went well, but I'm still recovering. That is the reason why there is no posts right now. The will the paint is there but not the energy. I really hope to be back soon.

Stamping with Models Own Chrome Indigo

Dags för lite stamping igen. I botten har jag Kiko 831 och sen bestämde sonen att Models Own Chrome Indigo skulle vara perfekt att använda som färg för mönster över det här, så det fick det bli.

Chrome lacken är bra att stämpla med, men trådar sig gärna lite grann det vill säga att ibland får man trycka till lite på själva mönstret för att det annars blir trådar som sticker upp.

Mönstret jag valt kommer från Pueen Encore SE03B och jag tycker det här blev riktigt bra. Jag var lite tveksam över färgkombon först, men det funkade ju alldeles utmärkt.

 

Time for some stamping again. As the base I have Kiko 831 and then my son decided that I should use Models Own Chrome Indigo as the color for the pattern. So that is what I used. 

The Chrome polishes is good for stamping, but you have to be a bit careful because they kind of produce threads that you have to push down a little to get a perfect pattern.

The pattern I have chosen comes from Pueen Encore SE03B and I think this turned out really good. I was a little hesitant over the color combo first, but it worked just fine after all.

Stamping with Mentality Black Opaque

Jag fick hem den väldigt omskrivna Creative Shop stämpeln häromdagen och självklart tog det inte lång tid innan jag satt och fixade med naglarna. Och vet ni vad, trots att jag varit skeptiskt så är jag nu helt övertygad om den här stämpelns storhet. Fantastisk på att plocka upp mönster och utan någon som helst priming. Härligt!

På naglarna satt Mentality Incite och jag var lite sugen på att testa hur pass bra Mentality Black Opaque var så det blev det lacket som jag gjort mönstret med. Själva mönstret kommer från MoYou London Kaleidoscope 10.

Black Opaque visade sig funka precis lika bra som sina syskon i Opaque serien. Ett kanonbra svart stämpellack. Täcker väldigt bra och lätt att jobba med. Tillsammans med Creative stämpeln blev det smidigt att få till manikyren.

Men jag ville ju även se hur Incite såg ut som stämpellack så därför har jag en accentnagel gjord med Zoya Raven i botten och Mentality Incite som färg. Och visst funkade det. Riktigt bra till och med tycker jag.

I got home the very publicized Creative Shop stamper the other day and of course it did not take long before I was sitting doing my nails. And you know what, even though I was skeptical I'm now totally convinced of this stamps greatness. Fantastic at picking up patterns and without any priming. Lovely!

I already had Mentality Incite ond the nails and I was a bit eager to test how good Mentality Black Opaque was so that is the polish that I made the pattern with. The actual pattern comes from MoYou London Kaleidoscope 10.

Black Opaque proved to work out just as well as it's siblings in the Opaque series. A really good black stamping polish. Covers very good and easy to work with. Together with the Creative stamp it became easy to make this manicure.

But I wanted also to see how Incite looked like when used as stamping polish so therefore I have an accent nail made with Zoya Raven as the base and Mentality Incite for stamping color. And of course it worked. Really good for sure. 

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Inspired By Fashion - Dolce & Gabbana dress

Till inlägg nummer två inspirerat av mode har jag tagit inspiration från en Dolce & Gabbana klänning som vad jag förstår tillhör årets sommarkollektion.

En enkel klänning både till snitt och mönster, men fin tycker jag.

Jag har Zoya Purity som bas och prickarna är gjorda med dottingtools och Zoya Raven.

En enkel klänning och en enkel manikyr, men ibland behöver det inte vara mer än så.

For post number two that is inspired by fashion I have taken inspiration from a Dolce & Gabbana dress that I understand belongs to this year's summer collection.

A simple dress in both cuts and patterns, but nice I think.

I have Zoya Purity as the base and the dots are made with a dottingtool and Zoya Raven.

A simple dress and a simple manicure, but sometimes there no need for more than that.

ABC Challenge - K = Kiko 831

Till att representera bokstaven K har jag valt ut ett av mina Berlin fynd som jag köpte i Oktober när jag var där.

Det här är Kiko 831 ett fantastiskt fin kornblått krämlack. Det påminner en del om HM Blue My Mind och möjligen Essie Butler Please. Ett sånt där lack som man blir glad av tycker jag.

Jag gillar verkligen Kiko lacken. Oftast väldigt bra att måla med och om man kan köpa dom direkt i Kikos butiker så är det bra priser på dom också. 831 täckte utan problem på två lager och har en bra torktid. Jag har ett lager med Digital Flash över också.

 

Det är svårt att inte gilla ett lack med en sån här färg. Jag tycker verkligen det är mycket fint. 

To represent the letter K, I have chosen one of the polishes I bought when I was in Berlin in October.

This is Kiko 831 a wonderful bright blue creme polish. It reminds me of HM Blue My Mind and possibly Essie Butler. One of those polishes that makes you happy, I think.

I really like Kiko polishes. Usually very good to paint with and if you can buy them directly in the Kiko store it's good prices on them too. 831 covered without problems in two layers and have a good drying time. I have a layer of Digital Flash over too.

It's hard not to like a polish with this kind of color. I really think it is very nice
