12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge - Christmas Decorations

Dagens tema är Christmas decorations och ni kanske tycker att jag skulle gjort julgranskulor och allt vad det nu kan vara man hänger i granen, men se ni det är nästan precis det jag gjort fast givetvis på mitt eget lilla vis!

Jo, för ni förstår att jag är lite av en juldiktator i min familj. Det vill säga att min gran, jo, för jag betraktar det som min gran och inte familjens är det strikt röd/silvrig kod som gäller. Röda och silvriga kulor och silverglitter ska det vara och inget annat. Jag hade jobbigt varenda år när barnen var mindre och kom hem med allt möjligt pynt dom gjort som skulle upp i granen. Visst sa jag och så fick dom hänga det på insidan mot väggen. Fy vilken elak mor jag är!

Så därför har jag valt att göra en väldigt enkel manikyr för att symbolisera det här. Enkel, men å så fin ändå. Det röda lacket är China Glaze Cranberry Splash som ni får se på egen hand en annan dag och så har jag använt nailart färg till silverränderna.

Today's theme is Christmas decorations, and you might think that I 'd made ​​baubles or whatever it may be that it is that you are hanging in the tree, but you see that's almost exactly what I have done but of course in my own little way!

Well, you understand that I 'm a bit crazy when it comes to what is alowed in to my tree. Because it's my tree, not the familys, mine! And all that goes in that is red and silver. Red and silver ornaments and silver glitter, nothing else. It was hard every year when the kids were small and came home with things they had done and wanted to hang in the tree. Sure I said and then instructed them to hang them at the back of the tree that faced the wall. I'm such a evil mother!

So therefore I have chosen to do a very simple manicure to symbolize this. Simple, but one that I really like and think looks very nice. The red polish is China Glaze Cranberry Splash, and that you will get to see on it's own another day. And then I've used a nailart color to do the silvers stripes.

Coco Allure - Oh Christmas Tree

Oh, Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree har jag gått runt och sjungit på när det här lacket från Coco Allure har suttit på mina naglar.

Och vilket lack det är!

Jag funderade på vad jag skulle ha för färg under det här glitterlacket, men kom fram till att mitt vanliga val skulle bli absolut bäst. Det vill säga jag har lagt det över ett svart lack. Jag tror att det kan göra sig riktigt bra över guld eller rött också. Eller grönt för den delen.

Oh Christmas Tre är ett glitterlack som till största delen består av grönt glitter i olika storlekar, men även en del andra glitter i olika färger som representerar julgranskulorna. Det var jättelätt att applicera och spred sig bra över nageln.

Jag har lagt två lager över Zoya Raven och sen är det ett lager Seche över detta. Jag måste säga att jag är helt kär i det här! Jag tror att det skulle kunna bli täckande på typ fyra lager, men jag älskar hur det ser ut över det svarta lacket.  Det gnistrar absolut lika fint som julgranen som kommer kläs lagom till jul i vårt hus.

Ok, jag är grymt traditionsbunden när det gäller jultraditioner och i vårt hus har granen alltid klätts den 23:e och troligtvis så blir det så även i år!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, that is what I have gone around and sang when this polish from Coco Allure has been sitting on my fingernails.

And what a polish it is!

I thought about what I would use as a base for this glitter polish, but found that my usual choice would be the absolute best. That is, I put it over a black lacquer. I think it could do really well over gold or red as well. Or green of course.

Oh Christmas Three is a glitter polish that mostly consists of green glitter in different sizes, but also some other glitter in different colors representing Christmas tree decorations. It was really easy to apply and spread well over the nail.

I added two coats of OCT over Zoya Raven and then it's a coat of Seche over as well. I must say that I am completely in love with this! I think it could become opaque on it's own in three or four layers, but I love how it looks over the black polish. The sparkle is absolutely as nice as the Christmas tree that will be decorated in time for Christmas in our house.

Ok, I'm cruelly bound by tradition when it comes to Christmas traditions, and in our house we always have decorated the tree on the 23rd and most probably it will be so again this year!

Shimmer Polish - Candace

Idag ska jag visa er ett alldeles fantastiskt vackert lack! Faktiskt också det första som jag testar från Shimmer Polish.

Candace består av glitter i guld, svart och även lite prismatiskt. Det skulle nog kunna täcka på egen hand, men jag såg ju direkt framför mig hur himlans fint det här skulle bli att använda till en gradient över svart.

Så det gjorde jag så klart också! På med Zoya Raven och sen blev det en omvänd gradient med Candace som jag gjorde enbart med hjälp av borsten som redan sitter i flaskan. Jag la först ett lager och sen bättrade jag på med lite extra längst ner för att det skulle bli större kontrast i gradienten. Över detta la jag Seche.

Lacket var mycket lätt att jobba med och det här får mig att bli nyfiken på mer Shimmer lack. Marilyn står högt på min önskelista och någon gång så ska det införskaffas.

Det här var verkligen något för mig. Guldiga lack och jag brukar inte vara några stora kompisar, men i den här kombinationen blir det en riktigt hit.

Today I'll show you an amazingly beautiful polish! Actually also the first that I'm testing from Shimmer Polish.

Candace consists of glitter in gold , black, and even a little prismatic ones. You could probably get it to cover on it's own, but when I first got the bottle I instantly got an vision of how amazing this would look as a gradient over black.

So of course that is what I did! On with Zoya Raven and then I made an inverse gradient with Candace that I made using only the brush that is already sitting in the bottle. First one layer and then I improved it with a little extra polish at the bottom so it would be more contrast in the gradient. Over this I added Seche.

The polish was very easy to work with and this makes me curious about more Shimmer polishes. Marilyn is on my wish list and at some point it will be mine.

This was really something for me. Golden polishes and I tend not to be any big buddies, but in this combination it becomes a real hit.

The favorite Creme polish was China Glaze Man Hunt and I would pick this again and yes I have used it more than one time.

A really beautiful Duochrome is Nubar Moon Eclipse but that didn't help because I haven't used it since the first time. 

I don't own many Flakies and to be honest Kleancolor Chunky Holo Black is not in my stash anymore either.

I choosed China Glaze Blue Bells Ring as my favoirte Foil/Metallic last year and I love this polish and have used it again and will use it more times as well. 

Frost/ Pearl is not my thing so no I haven't used it and I don't own it anymore.

Ah, the first Indiepolish I bought! Darling Diva Polish A Christmas Story my Glitter favorite that I love and have used several times. 

No, I don't like Jellies and this is not a favorite but I think it was the only one I used last year that wasn't already on the list in some way. It stand's sadly unused in the drawer and will probably do so for a long time. 

Shame on me! This is Depend 2032 Denim Blue of all holos I wore last year this was the one on topp and I just have to use it soon again, but I haven't done that since I showed it to you.

Neon is fun and China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard is used many times after this first one. 

And again we will end the list with a polish that I have used many times. Best Glassfleck/Shimmer was China Glaze Riveting. Love, love, love it!

Next time you'll get a list from me is when I list my favorites of 2013. And actually it's 50% of these polishes that was used again. Not too bad.
