Gloss'n Sparkle - Passion Pop

Jo, jag vet det här är inte den färgen ni brukar se här hos mig. Det här lacket har Katarina på Edgy Polish skickat till mig för att recensera och jag måste säga att det är så kul att få lack att testa som man normalt sett inte skulle köpt eller testat. Det finns ju en hel värld av lack därute som man förmodligen missar på grund av att man själv tror sig veta vad man tycker om!

Gloss'n Sparkle är ett nytt märke för mig, men av det jag sett så finns det massor av fina färger. Just den här heter Passion Pop. Gillar namnet förresten. Det är liksom glatt. Färgen beskrivs som skarp korall/rosa och jag tycker det är en lysande beskrivning på det. I lacket finns också glitter i vitt, guld och rött plus microglitter som verkar lite prismatiskt.

Och nu till det något chockerande. Jag tycker om det! Hade det varit en blekare färg hade jag nog inte gjort det, men det här är en så glad sommarfärg att jag bara inte kan låta bli att gilla det. Känner mig superglad att jag fått prova det och kan tänka mig att det är mycket snyggt på en lite solbränd hand. vilket mina förhoppningsvis är om ett par veckor.

Formulan är väldigt trevlig. Lagom tjock och lätt att få med glittren upp ur flaskan. Känns som en crelly tycker jag. Skulle nog kunna vara täckande på två lager, men ni vet ju hur jag är. Bättre ett lager för mycket än för lite så självklart har jag tre på. Penslen var trevlig bredd på, men jag hade nog föredragit om den varit lite hårdare. Inte så att det var svårt att måla med den, men lite sladdrig.

Gloss'n Sparkle finns att köpa hos Edgy Polish för 125 SEK per flaska. Själv kan jag mycket väl tänka mig att köpa fler. Och som tur är så har jag ett fint till att prova, men det får ni se en annan dag.  Jag visar er lacket i lite olika ljusförhållanden och så blir det en bild på den superfina glasfilen som jag också fick med och som också finns att köpa.

Yes, I know this is not the color you usually see on my nails. This polish has Katarina on Edgy Polish sent to me for review and I must say it's so fun to try out polishes in colors that you normaly wouldn't hav bought or tried. There's a whole world of polishes out there that you probably miss because you think that you don't like them!

Gloss'n Sparkle is a new brand for me, but from what I have seen, there are lots of nice colors. This particular is called Passion Pop. I like the name by the way. The color is described as bright coral / pink and I think it is a brilliant description of it. The polish is contains glitter in white, gold and red plus micro glitter that seems a little prismatic.

And now for something shocking. I like it! Had it been a paler color, I probably would not have done it, but this is such a great summer color that I just can not help but like it. I feel super happy that I got to try it and can imagine how nice it would look on hands that have gotten some tanning which my hopefully have in a few weeks.

The formula is very nice. Perfect thickness and easily to get the gitter up from the bottle and even on the nails. I think you can say that this is a crelly. Would probably be opaque in two coats, but you know how I am. Better a layer too much than too little, so of course I have three. The brush has a nice width, but I probably would have preferred it if it had been a bit stiffer than it is. Not that it was difficult to paint with it, but a little flabby.

Gloss'n Sparkle is available from Edgy Polish for 125 SEK (18 USD) per bottle.  I can very well imagine buying more from the brand. And luckily, I have one more to try, but you will see that another day. I show you the polish in a little different light conditions and also a picture of the super fine glass file which I also got and which is also available for purchase.

Mentality - Meeny Stamping

Nu blir det stamping manikyr med Mentality igen!

Älskar verkligen dom här lacken måste jag säga, så himla lätta att jobba med. Även den här gången valde jag att ha svart i botten i form av Zoya Raven och sen blev det Mentality Meeny som jag använde till mönstret.

Ett guldgrönt skimmerlack, tror nog att det ska vara duokromt egentligen, men det är inte så tydligt. Snyggt är det i alla fall. Påminner lite om Chanel Peridot och alla dess kopior. Precis som med Moe så var det här superlätt att få att följa med upp på stämpeln och det täckte utan problem över det svarta. Jag är väl kanske inte riktigt lika nöjd med manikyren denna gången, men det beror inte på lacket eller dess färg utan på mönstervalet.

Mönstret kommer från Konad m73 plattan och det är i sig inget fel på det, men jag blev nog bortskämd med förra stampingmanikyren för den blev så grymt bra. Jag gillar i alla fall det här också och som sagt ett lack som täcker så bra på svart är guld värt.

Today you will get another stamping manicure with Mentality again!

I really love these polishes I must say, so very easy to work with. As last time I chose to have a black polish as the base in the form of Zoya Raven and then Mentality Meeny for the pattern.

A golden green shimmer paint, I think it's a bit duochrome really, but it is not so visible in this manicure. It's really nice all the same. Reminds me of Chanel Peridot and all its copies. As with Moe it was super easy to get to transfer on the stamp and it covered with no problems over the black. I'm not as pleased with the manicure this time as the last stamping I did, but it has nothing to due with the polish or the color of it but the pattern selection.

The pattern is from Konad m73 plate and there is nothing wrong with it, but I was probably spoiled with my last stamping for it was so damn good. I like it anyway and as I said a polish that covers so well over black  is gold worth.

Blå Måndag - China Glaze Electric Beat

Måndag igen och "bara" denna och två veckor till innan jag får semester.

Lacket jag visar idag visade jag för över ett år sedan. Det heter Electric Beat och är från China Glaze Electropop kollektion som kom förra våren. En kollektion med en hel del fina lack, men alla med lite knepig formula.

Dock vänjer man sig vid formulan och sista gångerna jag har testat lack därifrån har det inte alls varit så knepigt att måla med som första försöken. Det är liksom tjock och ändå lite rinnigt. Den här gången räckte det i alla fall med två lager för full täckning.

Electric Blue är ett sommarhimmelsblå krämlack. En fin blå färg tycker jag. Mjuk och trevlig nyans. Jag hade tänkt att använda det här till underlag för en stampingmanikyr, men det gick inte riktigt som jag ville så därför får ni se enbart det här lacket och färgen passar ju även bra till Lindas Blåa Måndag.

Monday again and "just" this and two weeks before I get to my summer vacation.

The polish I'm showing today, I showed once before but that is over one year ago. It's called Electric Beat and is from the China Glaze Electropop collection that came last spring. A collection with a lot of nice colors, but most of them with a bit tricky formula.

However, you get used to the formula and the last few times I've tested polishes from the collection, it has not been that bad to paint with the time as the first times I used them. The formula is both thick and runny at the same time. This time I didn't think it was a problem and two coats was enough for coverage.

Electric Blue is a blue color that reminds you of a summersky and it's a creme polish. A nice blue color, I think. Soft and pleasant shade. I was going to use this as the basis for a stamping manicure, but it didn't turn out quite the way I wanted too, so therefore you will see only the polish and this color fits perfect today since it's Linda's Blue Monday.

Nailart Sunday - Dotticure

Jag får börja med att be lite om ursäkt för mina torra tråkiga nagelband. Har inte hunnit smörja ordentligt än idag. Lite trött efter en heldag på Bodaborg igår. Sjukt roligt, men dom där grannarna dom ska få igen nästa år!

Jag hade ju tänkt att bjuda på en fin stamping manikyr idag, men jag orkade faktiskt inte fixa till det utan tog den enkla vägen ut och la först en fransk manikyr på Picture Polish Monroe som redan sitter på och sen lite fallande prickar från den.

För att vara en akutmanikyr och snabbt gjord så tycker jag att det blev riktigt bra. Ska sätta mig och fixa lite nytt och snyggt till imorgon senare idag, men först ska jag sortera lite bland lacken och flytta över en del till min nyinköpta Helmer.

I wanna start with an apology for my very dry and not so nice cuticles on the pictures. Have not had time to properly lubricate today. A bit tired after a full day at Bodaborg yesterday. We had so much fun and next year is our year. We will beat our neighbours then!

I had planned to show you another awesome stamping manicure today, but really didn't feel like it or had the time so instead I took the easy way out and freshened up Picture Polish Monroe that I still have on with a funky french and then added som dotts that almost looks like the are falling out of the french one.

To be an emergency manicure and quickly made​​, I think it turned out really good. Will sit down and get some new and fresh manicure for tomorrow later today, but first I'll sort among my polishes and move over some to my newly purchased Helmer.

Läsarnas Val! / Readers Choice - Picture Polish Monroe

Idag är den dagen då den stora grannfejden äger rum! Låter det dramatiskt? Det är det också. Vi och våra grannar och tillika barndomskompis till mig har vår årliga resa till Bodaborg för att kämpa om vem som får mest stämplar. För er som inte känner till Bodaborg så är det som ett slags Fångarna på fortet fast man kämpar om stämplar istället för nycklar. Löjligt roligt och vi brukar sannerligen ha kul när vi gör det här. Dagen avslutas med en pizza tillsammans.

Idag är det ju också Läsarnas val som det varit nästan hela året på lördagar och jag fortsätter ett tag till. Förra veckan hade ni China Glaze Lubu Heels, A-England Dragon och Picture Polish Monroe att välja på. Den här gången så var det Monroe som gick vinnande ur striden.

Picture Polish Monroe var för ungefär ett år sedan en av mina största lemmings. När Nailmail sen hade det som månadens märke förra hösten slog jag till och sen har det stått där i min låda! Så återigen får jag tacka er mina läsare för att ni ser till att mina vackra vänner inte bara står där i lådan och ser ledsna ut utan får komma ut och pryda mina naglar.

Monroe är ett vinrött jelly/glitterlack i en sån där färgton som jag bara älskar. Att det sen faktiskt finns lite holo i det hela gör ju inte saken sämre. Det var inte det bästa jag lackat med, men egentligen så var det bara första lagret som var lite bråkigt och man fick gärna med sig färgen om man drog mer än en gång på samma ställe. De följande två lagren flöt på fint. Torktiden var bra. Över det här har jag ett lager av China Glaze Fast Forward.

Uppfyller det mina lemmings förväntningar? Jo, det gör det väl, men jag hade nog älskat det här ännu mer om jag provat innan jag fick hem både Zoya Blaze och mitt L.A Girl 3D effrcts i ungefär samma färg.

Today we and our neighbours are going away to have som fun together and end the day with a pizza!

Today it's also Reader's Choice as it has been almost all year round on Saturdays and I will continue for a while. Last week, you had China Glaze Lubu Heels, A England Dragon and Picture Polish Monroe to choose from. This time, it was Monroe who won the battle.

Picture Polish Monroe was about a year ago one of my largest lemmings. When Nailmail had Picture Polish as the brand of the month last fall I finally got a bottle of my own. And since then it has been standing there in my drawer! So again, I thank my readers for letting me take my beautiful friends from there and let it decorate my nails!

Monroe is a burgundy jelly / glitter polish in one of colors that I just love. And the fact that it's actually a little holo in it does not make things worse. It was not the best polish I painted with, but really it was just the first layer that was a bit rowdy and if you tried to correct you took the polish with you. The next two layers flowed nicely. Drying time was good. Over this, I have a coat of China Glaze Fast Forward.

Did this lemming reach up to my expectations? Well, it does very well,  I probably would have loved this even more if I tried before I got home both Zoya Blaze and my LA Girl 3D effects in about the same color.
