Grön Onsdag - L.A Girl 3D Effects Teal Dimension

Det är tur att veckorna går så snabbt som dom gör. Jag längtar verkligen till semester just nu. Det är helt galet inne på jobbet. Jag jobbar i en kundtjänst och normalt sett om vi har 5 i kö så är det mycket senaste veckorna så har man tyckt det var lite om det var 15. Det har legat på mellan 25-40 hela tiden. Så lite trött och sliten är man allt.

Nu är det i alla fall onsdag och det är Karins Gröna onsdag som jag smiter in i och hoppas att jag blir godkänd. Till mitt försvar kan jag säga att lacket är grönare i verkligheten än vad jag lyckades  fånga på bild. 

Det jag har lackat med är ett av dom lacken som jag verkligen velat ha mest av allt på senaste tiden nämligen L.A Girl 3D Effect Teal Dimensions. Ett Übervackert teal/petrol färgat lack med prismatiskt glitter i. För att kalla det för holo kanske är att överdriva lite grann, men glittrar det gör det så man blir salig. 

Som de flesta andra L.A Girl lacken så är det här smidigt att lacka med. Jag har två lager på, men kanske skulle tagit 3 eller lite flödigare på första (hört det förrut?). Jag kan nu också proklamera att jag inte tänker köpa Nubars Ridgefiller mer gånger. Jo, den slätar ut suveränt bra, men vilket skitlack att lacka på.

Levde det här lacket upp till mina förväntningar då? Oh ja! Det gjorde det absolut och jag fick mycket positiva kommentarer om det också. Det är så fint både i färgen och i finishen. Och jag är så glad att jag har 5 stycken till ur samma serie att lacka med. Mina bilder gör det inte helt rättvisa kan jag säga. 

It's fortunate that the weeks go as fast as they do. I really long to my summer vacation right now. It's totally crazy at my work at the moment. I work as a Customer Care Advisor and what I do is talk with customers on the phone the whole day long. Usually if we have 5 calls in queue that is a lot. but the last weeks if there has been 15 it has felt like a small amount. It has been between 25-40 most of the time. So I think you can understand if I'm a bit tired and worn out at the moment.

Well it's already Wednesday and that means Karin's Green Wednesday among us Swedes. I hope that Karin approaves of my entry this week but in my defense, I can say that the polish I show you today is greener in real life than what I managed to catch on camera.

What is it that you get to see here today then. Well one of the polishes that has been on the top of my wishlist lately. Namely LA Girl 3D Effect Teal Dimensions. A Über Beautiful teal / petrol colored polish with prismatic glitter in. To call it holo might perhaps be a bit exaggerating, but the glitter and shine in this makes you so happy!

Like most LA Girl polishes this is easy to paint with. I have two coats on, but perhaps should have taken three or maybe a bit more fluid one on the first layer (heard that before?). I can now proclaim that I do not intend to buy Nubars Ridge Filler more times. Well, it flattens the surface of the nail supremely good, but what a crappy basecoat to apply polish on.

Did this polish live up to my expectations then? Oh yes! It absolutely did and I got a lot of positive comments about it too. It's so nice both in color and finish. And I'm so glad I have 5 more of these to paint with. My photos do not do it much justice I can say.

Darling Diva Polish - Cherubic

Äntligen blev jag sugen på att testa Darling Divas Cherubic lack. Jag köpte det lagom till Alla Hjärtans Dag, men då visade alla andra det här så jag väntade. Sen har det stått där i otestat lådan och jag har helt enkelt inte känt alls för att prova.

Men nu riktigt ropade det efter mig! Jag har haft ganska mycket färg senaste veckan så jag var sugen på något mer nertonat och då passar det här bra.

Basen på det här är en mjölkig vit jelly/crelly eller kanske något lite lite svagt rosatonad jelly/crelly. I det här så finns det sen glitter i olika former och storlekar både i rosa och magenta + rosa hjärtan. Lacket i sig är smidigt att applicera, dom vanliga glittrena kommer upp utan problem, men dom små hjärtanen dom får man jaga lite för att få runt.

Och det är också den enda anledningen till att jag har fyra lager istället för tre. För tre hade funkat alldeles utmärkt och kanske till och med varit snyggare än fyra, men jag ville ju så gärna ha några hjärtan i alla fall. Och det fick jag till slut också. Torktiden är bra. Jag la på ett lager med Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food. Ett överlack som ska jämna ut och mjuka till glitterlack så att dom inte äter upp topplacket. Jag har testat det förut och måste säga att jag tycker att det funkar förvånansvärt bra. Över det har jag också ett lager med China Glaze Fast Forward. Så det blev väldigt många lager, men det känns faktiskt inte speciellt klumpigt.

Vad tycker jag då om det här? Jag tycker att dom där hjärtan glittren kunde man varit utan. Visst är dom lite kul och gulliga, men jag gillar ju lacket så mycket som det är utan dom. Det lite mjölkiga med dom fina färgerna. För jag tycker även det här är fint och trivs i det även om det är åt det rosa hållet. Vad håller egentligen på att hända med mig!! Som sagt det är faktiskt så mycket finare på än vad jag hade förväntat mig.

Vill man ha en flaska av det här så finns det vanligtvis att finna hos både Carrie som gör Darling Diva lackens Etsy shop där det med frakt kostar ca 61 SEK plus frakt och hos Edgy Polish där det faktiskt inte kostar mer än 95 kronor för en flaska + frakt. Det intressanta i det här är att med frakten om man nu skulle köpa enbart en flaska så blir det 120 SEK från USA och 134 SEK om man köper det från Edgy. Inte stor skillnad alls.

Finally, I felt like trying Darling Divas Cherubic polish. I bought it just in time for Valentine's Day, but then it was showed all over the blogs around the world so I kind of lost interest in it and waited to use instead. So it has been standing in my untested drawer since then.

But now it felt like that bottle really told me that it was time. I've had quite a lot of color on last week so I was hungry for something more toned-down and this is perfect for that.

The basis of this is a milky white jelly / crelly or maybe a bit pink jelly / crelly. In this, there is glitter in different shapes and sizes, both in pink, silver,and magenta + pink hearts. The polish itself is easy to apply, the usual glitters comes up without any problems, but the little hearts you may have to hunt a bit to get up from the bottle.

And it's also the only reason I have four layers instead of three. For three would have worked just fine, and maybe even looked better than four, but I wanted so badly to have some hearts on as well. And I finally got some too.. The drying time is good. I added a layer of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food. A top coat to smooth and soften the glitter varnish so they don't eat up the topcoat. I've tried it before and must say that I think it works surprisingly well. Over that, I also have a layer of China Glaze Fast Forward. So it was very many layers, but it feels actually not very clumsily.

What do I think about this then? I think I could have lived without the heartshaped glitters. Sure, they are fun and cute, but I do like the polish so much as it is without them. The little milky with the nice colors. For I also think this is fine and beautiful even if it is on the pink side. What is actually happening to me! That said it is actually so much nicer on than what I had expected.

Blå Måndag - Cactus Boron

Även om min svenska vecka är slut så blir det ändå ett svenskt lack idag på Lindas Blå Måndag.

Det sista av lacken som Cactus skickade till mig är det blåa Boron också det en ny version av ett av lacken från den tidigare kollektionen.

Hur hållbarheten är på det här vågar jag faktiskt inte riktigt uttala mig om. Jag bar det inte så superlänge vilket jag i och för sig inte förstår varför, men jag var inne i en ha ett lack på en stund och sen vill jag byta vända nu i helgen.

Det jag kan säga om det är att formulan är bra, något lite tunnare än vad den var på Astatine. Det här behövde tre lager för täckning. Däremot var det bra att måla med och torktiden var superb.

Sen kommer vi till färgen. Åh vilken färg! Jag är helt kär i det här lacket en härligt klarblå färg som även den är mycket fin när när inte man har direkt solljus på naglarna. Holoeffekten är inte slående, men det struntar jag fullständigt i för med den här underbara nyansen så spelar det ingen roll!

Jag kommer absolut att bära det här igen och förmodligen ganska så snart. Tyvärr så lyste solen med sin frånvaro när jag skulle fota, men bilderna blev ändå rätt ok.

Although my Swedish week has ended it will still be a Swedish polish that I will show you today on Linda's Blue Monday.

The last of the polishes that Cactus sent to me to try is the blue Boron that also is a new version of one of the polishes from her previous collection.

How the sustainability is at this I actually cant really tell you because I didn't wear it long enough to know. And I can't honestly dont understand why, because this is so amazingly beautiful. But I was in that kind of mood were I change polish every second hour or soo this weekend.

What I can say about it is that the formula is good, a little thinner than it was on Astatine. This needed three coats for coverage. However, it was good to paint with and drying time was superb.

And on to the color. Oh what a color! I'm totally in love with this polish a beautiful bright blue color which is also very nice when you don't have direct sunlight on the nails. The holo is not striking, but I don't care because of the color of it. It's such a wonderful shade that it totally makes up for not being super holographic.

I will definitely wear this again and probably quite soon. Unfortunately, the sun didn't shine when I had this on and was about to take the pictuers, but the images were still quite ok.

Tema Svenskt & Nailart Sunday / A Swedish Theme & Nailart Sunday - Grodor

En av de absolut töntigaste traditionerna vi har här i landet måste väl ändå vara att dansa Små Grodorna! Och det är ju det första jag kom att tänka på när Angelica presenterade veckans tema för Nailart Sunday. Just det, Grodor.

Det andra jag kom att tänka på var faktiskt våra Salamandrar som vi hade. Dom har fått flytta till en som har med tid för dom, men tvärtemot vad många tror så är ju inte det en ödla utan ett groddjur.

I alla fall så är ju det här också sista dagen på mitt svenska tema och jag vill passa på att tacka alla för all positiv respons jag fått på ämnet under veckan. Inte omöjligt att det blir en repris på det någon gång i framtiden.

Nu tillbaka till grodorna. Temat är ju svenskt och jag gjorde en variant tidigare i veckan med 2 stycken Depend lack som jag inte var så värst nöjd med. Idag hade jag Isadora Sheer Amethyst på naglarna och det är ju absolut svenskt. Sen fick jag för mig att göra en typ av holonailart av det hela så det gröna i grodorna är gjort med Nubar Reclaim. Njae, det är ju inte svenskt förstås, men jag tycker att grodorna ser rätt svenska ut så det får liksom duga med det!

One of the absolutely most dorky traditions we have in this country must surely be dancing Små Grodorna around the Maypole. Search on You Tube and you will se for yourself! And that's the first thing that came to mind when Angelica presented the theme of the week for Nailart Sunday, Frogs.

The second thing that came to mind was actually our Salamanders we had. They've had to move to one who had more time for them, but contrary to what many think, they are not lizards but amphibians.

In any case, this is also the last day of my Swedish theme and I want to thank everyone for all the positive feedback I received on the topic of the week. It might return sometime in the future.

Now back to the frogs. As I said my Swedish theme is still on and I did a version earlier in the week with 2 Depend polishes that I was not very happy with. Today I had Isadora Sheer Amethyst on my nails and that's definitely Swedish. Then I got an idea to do a type of holonailart of it so the green frogs are done with Nubar Reclaim. Nah, that's not Swedish of course, but I think that frogs look kind of Swedish and that has to be ok. Right?

Tema Svenskt & Läsarnas Val / A Swedish Theme & Readers Choice! - Isadora Sheer Amethyst

Det var ju egentligen det här lacket som fick mig att komma på idén med en svensk vecka. Ja och att det är midsommarveckan också förstås.

För det stod ju klart väldigt snabbt vilket lack det var som skulle vinna förra veckans omröstning och det var Isadora Sheer Amethyst. Dom övriga lacken i omröstningen var: Color Club Almost Famous och Essie Da Bush. Någon frågade mig om jag inte kunde ha med bilden från förra omröstningen i inlägget, men jag väljer att i fortsättningen skriva vilka de andra lacken var också. Hoppas ni tycker det funkar.

Isadora är ett svenskt märke som håller hög kvalité och går att hitta nästan överallt. Både i mer "special" affärer och även i matvarubutikerna. Jag älskar deras pensel, men den är också anledningen till att det finns delade läger angående det här märket. Antingen älskar du den eller hatar du den.

Sheer Amethyst är nog ett de vackraste lacken som ett svenskt "mainstream" märke gett ut. Ett bedårande holo i rosalila. Och ja, jag tycker det är vackert för det drar mer åt lila än åt rosa så det är ett lack som jag faller för helt och hållet.

Sen att det är mycket lättlackat torkar fort som en vind och bara kräver två lager positiva egenskaper som givetvis inte gör saken sämre.

Jag hade hoppats på lite sol ute när jag skulle fota det här, men så tätt molntäcke har jag inte sett på länge! Som vanligt finns det en ny omröstning under fotona.

It was really this polish that made me think of the idea of ​​a Swedish week. Yes and the fact that it's midsummer week too of course.

For it was very qucikly obvious what polish that would win i last weeks poll and it was Isadora Sheer Amethyst. The other ones that you could vote for was: Color Club Almost Famous and Essie Da Bush. Someone asked me if I could have the picture from the last vote in the post, but I choose to continue to write what the other polishes was as well. Hope you think that will work.

Isadora is a Swedish brand with high quality and also a brand that is really easy to get hold of. It's sold in both clothes and supermarkets. That I think is great. I love the brush in these bottles, but the brush is also what makes people not like the brand. It's wide and I love it but either you do that or you hate it. 

Sheer Amethyst is probably the most beautiful polish a Swedish "mainstream" label given out. An adorable puple/pink holo. And yes, I think it is beautiful even though it is kind of pink. But the purple in it takes over and makes me love it.

Then it's the fact that it's very easy to apply and dries quickly like a breeze and only requires two coats for full coverage. That does not make things worse. 

I was hoping for some sun when I should take the pictures of this, but there is such a dense cover of clouds so there is no way that the sun would shine through it. As usual, there is a new vote under the photos.
