Holofredag - Chirality Cu2+

Chirality är ett märke som jag varit nyfiken på ganska länge och när jag fick det här i ett utskick från Katarina på Edgy Polish blev jag överlycklig.

Att det sen råkade vara väldigt nära till Skimmerskuggans holofredag gjorde ju inget heller :)

När jag provar hololack från märken jag aldrig testat förut brukar jag alltid börjar med att prova med ett vanligt baslack för att se om dom lider av holosjuka eller inte. Jag äger ett Aqua Fix, men jag tycker spontant att det är lite tråkigt att behöva använda speciella baslack för att kunna använda vissa lack.

Jag kan härmed lugna eller fullkomligt när det gäller Chirality här behövs minsann inte något Aqua Fix för att få det att flyta lätt på nageln. Formulan var ganska tjock, men det gillar ju jag så alltså passande den mig utmärkt. Det var absolut inga problem att få det att täcka på två lager. Torktiden var också bra och lacket torkade väldigt glansigt för att vara ett holo.

Ibland märker man att holoeffekten blir mindre när man lagt på topplack, det var inte heller ett problem här. Precis lika fint med topplack som utan.

Färgen då? Alltså det är sällan jag nästan blir lite ledsen när jag ska ta bort ett lack, men jag kände nästan så om det här. Helt fantastiskt mörkblått lack med en väldigt tydlig holo i sig. Och det bästa är att det var minst lika snyggt i skugga. Vilket jag tycker är nästan nödvändigt för ett bra holo.

Så är det ju namnet också. Jag googlade runt lite och vad jag förstår så är det någon typ av kemisk beteckning för en kopparjon eller något liknande. Kemi var inte mitt bästa ämne!

Jag har köpt två andra lack från Chirality och jag ser verkligen fram emot att prova dom också. Är dom lika bra som det här så blir det mer inköpta.

Chirality kan man alltså köpa via Edgy Polish där finns det många andra fina färger utöver det jag visar här idag.

Chirality is a brand that I have been curious about for quite some time and when I got this from Katarina at Edgy Polish for a review, I was overjoyed.

When I try holopolishes from brands I've never tried before, I usually always start by trying with a regular base coat to see if they suffer from holosicknes or not. I own an Aqua Fix, but I do spontaneously think that it's a bit sad to have to use special base coat to use some polishes.

I can completely calm you down about this when it comes to Chirality because this certainly does not need any Aqua Fix to get it to flow easily on the nail. The formula was pretty thick, but I like that for me it was excellent. There was absolutely no problem getting it to cover in two layers. The drying time was also good and the polish dried very glossy to be a holo.

Sometimes you find that the effect of the holo becomes less when you put the topcoat on, it was not a problem here. Just as nice with topcoat as without.

The color then? So it's rare that I almost get a little sad when I remove a polish, but I almost felt like that with this one. Absolutely amazing dark blue coat with a very clear holo itself. And the best part is that it was at least as good in shade. Which I think is almost necessary for a good holo.

And then there is the name.. I googled around a bit and as I understand it is some type of chemical term for a copper ionization or something like that.. Chemistry was not my best subject!

I have bought two other polishes from Chirality and I'm really looking forward to trying them too. If they are  as good as this I will definitly buy more.

Darling Diva Polish - Dirty Deeds

Dags att visa ännu ett av lacken från Darling Diva Polish Back In Black kollektion.

Dirty Deeds är ett jellylack med svart/grå bas och sen massa lila och magentafärgade glitter i olika former. Jag är ju normalt sett inte en fan av jellys och har när jag visat dom andra AC/DC lacken haft underkläder under, men den här gången tänkte jag testa utan och se där ja! Det gick ju hur bra som helst med det här lacket.

Fyra lager sen har det täckt riktigt bra. Torktiden var ok tyckte jag. Lite pillande för att få det jämt och för att få glittren att hamna lite spritt på nageln var det.

Jag gillar det här lacket väldigt mycket, men inte lika mycket som dom andra två jag visat tidigare faktiskt. Jag hade nog förväntat mig att det här skulle bli favoriten, men det blir ju inte alltid som man tänkt sig.

Time to show another of the polishes from Darling Diva Polish Back In Black collection.

Dirty Deeds is a jelly-coat with black / gray base and then lots of purple and magenta glitter in various forms. I'm not normally a fan of jellys and when I showed the other AC / DC polishes I had underwears to them, but this time I thought I would test without and I think it went really well.

I have four layers onf for acceptable coverage. The drying time was ok I thought. It's a little tricky to get it even on the nails and you also have to work with it a bit to make the glitter spread ok over the nail.

I like this color very much, but not as much as the other two I have shown earlier in fact. I guess I was expecting that this would be the favorite, but things dont always turn out the way you thought it would. 

Depend 2059 Starry Blue

Ska ni ut och demonstrera idag? Jag stannar faktiskt hemma och swatchar lite istället. Dessutom är det så svårt att hitta några demonstrationer i vår monsterstora by på 300 personer!

Idag tänkte jag i alla fall visa er ännu ett suveränt lack från vårt svenska Depend. Det här lacket släpptes i en kollektion som heter Mirage och om jag förstått saken rätt så är det en Limited Edition kollektion så passa på att köp medans ni kan. För jag tycker verkligen att det här lacket är värt att köpa.

För mig känns det här som ett foil lack, men jag är inte riktigt säker på vad Depend menar att det ska vara för något och helt ärligt så spelar det inte någon roll. 2059 Starry Blue är ett mycket vackert mörkblått lack med silver i. Lättapplicerat och täcker helt på två lager. Torktiden var också bra.

Jo, jag vet att många tycker att det är jobbigt med den pyttelilla flaskan och det kan jag väl hålla med om, men samtidigt är borsten så himla bra så jag förlåter Depend för det.

Today I thought I would let you see another great polish from our Swedish brand Depend.  This polish was released in a collection called Mirage and if I understand correctly, it is a limited edition collection so make sure you buy while you can. Because I really think this polish is worth buying.

For me, this feels like a foil, but I'm not really sure that is what Depend is marketing it as, and quite honestly, it dosen't matter. 2059 Starry Blue is a very beautiful dark blue polish with silver in. Easy Applied and completely covers with two layers. The drying time was also good.

Yes, I know that many find it difficult with the tiny bottle that Depend has and I can agree with that, but the brush is so damn good so I forgive Depend for it.

Zoya Valerie

Ok, jag tar tillbaka det där med att grönt nog är min favoritfärg på nagellack. Om man tänker på att 3 av 5 lack som jag beställde från Edgy Polish var lila i tonen och att dagens lack är ett übersnyggt lila så känner jag mig nöjd med att återigen tycka bäst om lila lack :)

Idag ska jag visa er en riktig skönhet och återigen ett lack som jag har sprungit runt både hus, trädgård och testat min lightbox för att få bilder som verkligen speglar hur det här lacket ser ut på riktigt.

Jag pratar om Zoya Valerie som jag inte för mitt liv kan förstå varför jag har haft stående i min låda nästan ett helt år!

Valerie är ett mörklila lack med skimmer i både guld, rött och rosa. Som de flesta Zoya lacken var det en trevlig bekantskap när det gäller formulan. Jag har tre lager på, men det beror enbart på att jag la för tunt lager på första. Torktiden var kanonbra.

Det här är verkligen skönhet i en liten flaska en sån där färg som man känner sig elegant i liksom.

Jag vill ju givetvis passa på att önska alla en riktigt trevlig Valborgsmässoafton! Elda lugnt hörrni.

Ok, I will now deny all the things I said last week about green being my favorite color on nailpolish and not purple. I placed an order from Edgy Polish and 3 of 5 bottles were kind of purple and the polish I'm showing you today is an amazing purple one as well. So I'm back on the right track again and in love with purple polishes. 

Today I'll show you a real beauty, and again a polish that I have been running around both the house, garden and tested my lightbox for images that truly reflect how this polish looks for real.

I'm talking about Zoya Valerie that I can't understand why I had standing in my drawer for almost a year without using it!

Valerie is a dark purple polish with shimmer in both gold, red and pink. Like most Zoya lacquer this was a pleasant acquaintance in terms of formula. I have three layers on, but that is only because I did use to little on my first layer. To would be enough. The drying time was super.

This really is beauty in a small bottle and one of those colors that you feel elegant in as well.

Darling Diva Polish - Leprechaun's Gold

Då var det slut på temaveckan och dags för mig att hitta nya favoriter istället.

En av kandidaterna till detta är ett lack från Darling Diva som heter Leprechaun's Gold ett lack som är sprängfyllt av microglitter i grönt och guld. Helt galet glittrigt faktiskt och även helt galet vackert.

Jag är ju som ni troligen redan märkt en ganska stor fan av Darling Diva lacken och det här är inget undantag. Jag valde att måla det över Orly Fresh, men det hade jag absolut inte behövt för det täcker alldeles utmärkt på egen hand och på tre lager. Jag testade faktiskt att plocka bort på ena nageln och lägga det för sig självt och det var absolut ingen skillnad.

Tycker att det gick lätt att applicera och torkade ovanligt bra för att vara ett glitterlack, däremot så är det ju som med andra liknande lack att det äter lite överlack så två lager Poshé har jag på bilderna och det behövs.

En annan sak som är väldigt bra med just det här lacket är att det nu går att få tag på här i Sverige via det helt nyöppnade Edgy Polish. En helsvensk webshop som ägs av Katarina. Jag hoppas att ni får upp ögonen för den här butiken för något likande finns inte sen tidigare här i Sverige. Ett fantastiskt sortiment av Indielack  i en lättförståelig och snygg butik.

Och idag blir det bildspam för jag tror aldrig jag har tagit så mycket foton på ett och samma lack innan jag var nöjd.

A new week is here and my little Favorite Theme is over. It's time for to find new favorites instead.

One of the candidates for this is a polish from Darling Diva called Leprechaun's Gold a coating that is bursting with micro glitter in green and gold. Completely crazy glittery actually and also crazy beautiful.

I am, as you probably already noticed a pretty big fan of Darling Diva polishes and this is no exception. I chose to apply it over Orly Fresh, but there is absolutely no need for that because it covers just fine on it's own and in three layers. I actually did remove this from my thumbnail and did apply it on it's own and there was absolutely no difference.

It was was easy to apply and dried unusually fast to be a glitter polish however as with other similar polishes it eats topcoat. I have two layers of Poshe on top and that is necessary.

Another thing that is very good with exactly this polish is that it is now possible to get hold of here in Sweden via the newly opened Edgy Polish. A Swedish web shop owned by Katarina. I hope that you take your time to visit the shop for something similar does not exist before here in Sweden. An amazing assortment of Indie Brands and  a comprehensive and stylish store.
