Sation - Loudest Color

Sällan har ett namn på ett lack varit så passande som på just det här lacket!

Märket är Sation, en ny bekantskap för mig och namnet på lacket är alltså Loudest Color. Jag önskar nästan att ni hade sett min sons min när jag plockade upp det här från bubbelplasten. Han nästan ryggade lite grann. Hur kul som helst!

I lördags så dök solen upp och jag kunde inte låta bli att lacka om till det här och gå ut i solskenet och fota.

Det här är ett helt galet neon lack. Grönt, men så ljust att det kan misstas för att vara gult. Som en byggarbetarklädsel ungefär. Att försöka lägga det här på egen hand är inte att rekommendera, jag försökte, men gav upp. Istället blev det över Milani White On The Spot. Jag har tre lager, men det sista var riktigt onödigt. Jag ville bara testa vad som hände med färgen om jag la ett lager till. Inte mycket är svaret. Det räcker gott med två lager.

Jag gillade formulan på det här lacket. Mycket lättarbetat och torktiden var väldigt bra den också. Över allt har jag ett lager av Poshé.

Så mina vänner sätt på solglasögonen och dröm om en härlig varm dag på stranden.

It's not many polishes that has a name that is so fitting as this polish has!

The brand is Sation, a new acquaintance for me and the name of the polish is Loudest Color. I almost wish you had seen my son's face when I picked this up from package. He almost flinched a little. How fun is that!

This Saturday, the sun suddenly decided to show and I could not help myself. I had to repaint with this and go out in the sunshine to take pictures.

This is a crazy neon polish. Green, but so bright that it can be mistaken for yellow. As the cloth of a construction worker. To try to use this on it's own is not recommended, I tried, but gave up. Instead I put a coat of Milani White On The Spot underneath this. I have three layers, but the last was really unnecessary. I just wanted to try out what happened to the color if I added another layer. Not much is the answer. It is good enough with two layers.

I liked the formula on this polish. Very easy to work with and the drying time was very good as well. And a coat of Poshé over it all made it all look great.

So my friends put on your sunglasses and dream of a lovely warm day at the beach.

Nailart Sunday - Frukt / Fruit

Denna söndagens tema är Frukt, tack för det Lelack! Eller i alla fall så var min första tanke att Yes, nu ska jag göra mina jordgubbsnaglar! Ändå tills jag tre sekunder eller kanske fyra sekunder senare konstaterade att jordgubbar det är ju ett bär.

Jaha, då fick det ju bli något annat och varför inte en av mina favoritfrukter som intas varje dag på förmiddagsrasten. Nämligen Banan!

Fast en väldig massa bananer på naglarna kände jag skulle bli alldeles för rörigt så det fick bli en accentnagel istället. Lacken jag har använt mig av är: Zoya Raven till dom svarta naglarna och Color Club Almost Famous till accentnageln.

Bananerna dom har jag gjort med hjälp av Cheeky plattan CH42 där jag hittade lämpligt mönster som jag la på med Konad svart speciallack. Tyvärr så drog topplacket med sig den svarta färgen lite, men inte så mycket så jag kände att jag var tvungen att göra om.

Riktigt kul att stämpla lite grann, är rätt länge sedan jag gjorde det.

Jag måste nog säga att jag tyckte det här blev en riktigt kul manikyr. Vacker, nja, det kan väl diskuteras men rolig och helt klart inte något som någon annan på jobbet hade likadan.

This Sunday Lelack gave us Fruit as the theme! And my first thought was: Yes, I can do my strawberry nails that I had been thinking about. Well at least until three seconds or maybe even four seconds later when I realized that strawberrys are not a fruit it's a berry.

Ok, then it was time to change the plan. Instead it became a manicure with my favorite fruit. Bananas. Something that I eat every day at my work. 

But I felt that having bananas on every nail was going to be too much so it became a banan accent nail. And I must say that I like this manicure. It might not be beautiful, but fun. And I can asure you that no other at my office had the same on their nails.

I used Zoya Raven for the black nails and Color Club Almost Famous for the accent nail. The Banana pattern is found on Cheeky plate no. 42.

Ert val / Readers Choice - OPI Austin Tatious Turquoise

Andra gången den här veckan som jag visar ett OPI lack som jag inte riktigt gillar namnet på! Och dessutom har jag liksom kopplat ihop dom två lacken.

Ni läsare röstade fram OPI Austin Tatious Turquoise som veckans lack och efter att ha läst en del  om det här lacket insåg jag att jag inte skulle testa att lacka med detta själv utan att det var läge att ha något under. Vad passade då inte bättre än Can't Find My Czechbook som jag visade häromdagen. Färgskalan passade finfint ihop så det fick agera underkläder till Austin...

Skirt är inte precis att överdriva för att beskriva det här lacket. Jag har tre lager över CFMC och det är banne mig nästan ett måste för att det ska vara Austin lacket som tar överhanden och inte det som jag har under.

Alltså kan vi konstatera att jag inte är nöjd med formulan, färgen då? Jo, den är fin. Härligt turkosskimmrande. Mycket fin, men ändå ingen färg som jag går omkring och småler fånigt för över att jag har den på naglarna. Kontentan av detta är alltså att jag gillar den, men älskar den inte. Skulle jag rekommendera någon att köpa det här lacket? Nej, det finns andra liknande som troligen har bättre formula som man kan köpa istället.

Second time this week that I show an OPI polish that I don't really like the name of! 

You readers voted OPI Austin Tatious Turquoise for the readers choice polish this week and after reading some about of this polish, I realized that I would not try to paint with this without having some kind of basecolor underneath. Why not use the one that I already had painted with? And that is how Can't Find My Czechbook became the color underneath. The color scheme fit together just fine so it seemed to be a good idea to use it as an underwear to Austin ...

Sheer is not just exaggeration to describe this polish. I have three layers of ATT over CFMC and it's damn near a must so that the basepolish doesn't take the upper hand and that is not what meaning of it. 

As you understand I'm not a big fan of the formula of this polish. What about the color then? Well, it's nice. Wonderfully turquoise with shimmer. Very nice, but still no color that  I go around and smiles silly because I have it on my nails. I think I can say that I like it but I don't love it. Would I recommend anyone to buy this polish? No, there are others similar that probably has a better formula that you can buy instead.

Holofredag - Nubar Reclaim

Så blev det då fredag igen. Ser fram emot en ganska lugn helg. Får nog försöka få med gubben och titta ut kakel till badrummet som är i stort behov av renovering.

Kerstins holofredag firas denna veckan med hjälp av ett lack som var ett av mina första holo lemmings faktiskt. En så härligt grön färg och fina om än inte superstarka regnbågar är svårt för mig att motstå.

Vad pratar jag om för lack då? Jo, självklart är det Nubar Reclaim, kan man kalla ett lack för en holoklassiker? Jag tänker i alla fall göra det och jag tycker att det här lacket är en klassiker i sammanhanget. Många har det, många vill ha det och jag tror faktiskt att de flesta som redan är ägare av ett är nöjda att det finns i samlingen.

Lätt att måla med, torkar utan problem och täcker på två lager. Ett lager Fast Forward över så är det klart!

Är det någon som förresten har erfarenhet av Nubars Ridgefiller eller topcoat? Är nyfiken på att testa dom.

What polish am I talking about then? Well, of course it's Nubar Reclaim, can you call a polish a holoclassic? I will do that in any case and I think this polish is a classic in the context. Many people have it, many want it and I actually think that most people who are already are owners of it is satisfied that they have it in their collecctions.

Easy to apply, dries easily and covers in two coats. A layer of Fast Forward over and you're done!

Is there anyone who by the way has experience of Nubars Ridge Filler or topcoat? I'm curious to try them.

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook

Vilket nedrans namn på ett så fint lack!

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook är det enda lacket som jag skaffat från Eurocentrale kollektionen i alla fall än så länge. Lacket är ett fantastiskt fint blåturkost krämlack. Jag säger blåturkos för att det känns som ett mellanting mellan färgerna. I vilket fall som helst så är det här ytterligare en härlig vårfärg som jag visar er. En sån där som man blir glad av att ha på naglarna.

Lacket var lätt att applicera, men det krävdes tre lager för att det skulle se helt ok ut. Efter två borde det varit täckande, men jag kände att det minsta jag försökte rätta till något så drogs färgen med så tre lager fick det bli. Dock hände det mycket bara man la på just det där tredje lagret.

Nu är det ju också så att ni kommer få se lacket precis som det ser ut efter att ha målat färdigt och utan topplack eftersom jag gammal vana trogen när jag lägger på ett krämlack har baktankar med det hela.

What a stupid name for this beautiful polish!

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook is the only polish that I got from the EuroCentrale collection so far. The polish is a fantastic blue/turquoise creme. I say blue/turquoise because it feels like a cross between the two colors. In any case, this is yet another lovely springcolor that I show you. One of those that makes you happy when you have it on your nails.

The polish was fairly easy to apply, but it took three coats to make it look ok. I think that two should have been enough but I felt that if I tried to correct anything the brush also took the polish already applied with it. So it had to be three layers, but the third one corrected everything.

The pictures I show you is the polish without topcoat because as usuall when I get a cremé polish on I do have som thoughts on what to do more with it.
