November 8 for No H8 med Depend 313

Jag fick syn på Llarowes facebook sida att just idag den 8:e november uppmanas vi att visa lila lack för att visa vårt avståndstagande till viss mobbning som förekommit sista tiden inom lackbloggarna.

Innan jag fortsätter detta vill jag starkt poängtera att jag inte sett något av detta bland mina svenska medbloggare.

Det som har hänt är att vissa har gått ut med att dom ogillar bloggar där man lagt upp foton där man inte har perfekta manikyrer eller nagelband. Jag blir så heligt förbannad på sånt här trams så jag bestämde mig direkt för att ändra min bloggplaner och istället lägga upp en helt oredigerad och ostädad manikyr med ett lila lack för att klarlägga min synpunkt i det hela!

Jag struntar fullständigt i om manikyren eller fotona är perfekta. Jag vill läsa roliga texter och se hur lacken ser ut när dom sitter på naglarna. Vem av oss har inte kladdat utanför eller har lite taskiga nagleband? Ska man inte få ägna sig åt det roligaste man vet på grund av det? Nej, sånt skitsnack vill jag hålla mig utanför.

En av anledningarna till att jag bloggar är att jag älskar stämningen som är mellan oss lacknördar. Jag vill i och med detta inlägget säga: JAG ÄLSKAR ER ALLIHOPA NI ÄR UNDERBARA MÄNNISKOR SOM DELAR EN PASSION FÖR LACK MED MIG! FORTSÄTT MED DET OCH VAR STOLTA ÖVER ERA NAGLAR, FOTON OCH BLOGGAR!

Den här manifestationen har inte startas av Llarowe själva, men dom kommer den 8-9 November skänka en summa pengar till en organisation som motarbetar mobbing för varje lila lack dom säljer. Så har ni tänkt att köpa lila lack därifrån gör det nu!

Det finns en hemsida och en organisation som heter Eridicate hate in the nail polish blogger community som dragit igång det här.  Dom vill att man lägger in följande text i dagens inlägg:

Bullying is not funny. It is not cool. It is not right. And more importantly, it is not okay.
Most of us are, thankfully, residents of countries that support tolerance and many of our families have settled in these places simply for that reason. Generations later, it is our responsibility to perpetuate that message of tolerance across our new social platforms, including the internet.

As members of the nail polish blogging community, we all share a love of beauty, color, and lacquer. Other than that, we are remarkably different: from our race to our religion to our hair color...even to our polish application techniques. To marginalize anyone because of those differences is completely unacceptable and today I take a stand against that. I refuse to allow other people's view of "normal" dictate how I behave, believe, and blog.

In solidarity with a multitude of bloggers linked below, my purple manicure represents my proud commitment to the No H8 movement. Today, November 8, I dedicate my post to ending bullying of any kind and to encouraging diversity and imperfection among our colorful community.

Längst ner på sidan hittar ni även en lång lista på vilka mer som deltar idag.Om ni själva är deltar men inte är med på listan är det bara att trycka på add link och följa instruktionerna. 

 Men nu över till dagens lack! Depend 313 är ett helt underbart lila lack med massa turkos glitter i. Lätt att applicera, men lite skirt. 

Gissa hur många lager jag har? Jajamen, visst är det tre! Torkar ganska snabbt. Jag gillar Depends penslar och det här lacket som kom med deras sommarkollektion är verkligen ett fynd!

Jag ber om ursäkt för ett lång textinlägg idag eller varför i hela friden ska jag be om ursäkt! Hoppas ni orkade läsa igenom allt för det här är viktiga grejer!

I saw Llarowes Facebook page that just today, November 8th we are asked to show purple paint to show our rejection to some bullying that occurred recently in the polish blogger community.

Before I continue I would like to strongly emphasize that I have not seen any of that from any Swedish Nailblog.

What has happened is that some have gone out with that they do not like blogs where you uploaded photos where you do not have perfect manicures or cuticles. I get so pissed off at things like this nonsense so I decided immediately to change my blog plans and instead put up a completely unedited and untidy manicure with a purple polish to clarify my point of it all!

I could not care less about if manicure or photos are perfect. I want to read funny lyrics and see how the paint looks when they sit on the nails. Who among us has not scribbled out or have little dodgy cuticles? Should we not get indulge in the most fun you know because of that? No way I will lower my self to that kind of bullshit!

One of the reasons that I blog is that I love the atmosphere that is between us polish nerds. I want, with this post say: I LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU! YOU ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO SHARE A PASSION FOR POLISH WITH ME! CONTINUE WITH THAT AND BE PROUD OF YOUR NAILS, PHOTOS AND BLOGS!

This rally has not started by Llarowe themselves, but they will on 8-9 November donate a sum of money to an organization that opposes bullying from each purple paint they sell. Have you planned to buy purple polish from there do it now!

 Now on to todays polish! Depend 313 is a wonderful purple polish with lots and lots of turqoise glitter in it. 
It was released with Depends summercollection this year and I'm so happy to be the owner of one. 

I think this is beautiful and it's easy to apply. I like Depends brushes a lot. The drying time is ok also. 

 

Snart är det jul!

Så idag får ni nöja er med en hel hög med flaskbilder på lack från julkollektioner som trillat in här. Nu har jag endast ett litet lack på väg hem och det är Darling Diva Polish A Christmas story. Så nu får det vara lugnt på lackköparfronten ett tag.

Tänkte köpa lite Glitter Gal som Nailmail har som märke denna månaden, men vi får se hur det blir med det när jag fått lägga pengarna på läkarbesök och sjukskrivning istället. Är jag sur för detta?? Ni skulle bara veta..

Hela Zoya Ornate kollektionen fick flytta hem till mig. Hade inte tänkt köpa hela först, men det visade sig bli billigare på det sättet! Så går det när man ska ha saker precis när dom släppts.

Tre stycken från China Glaze Holiday Joy kollektion. Glitter all the way, Blue bells ring och Pure joy.

Live and let die och The spy who loved me är dom enda två som jag var sugen på från OPI:s Skyfall kollektion. En otroligt hypad kollektion som i alla fall jag känner inte riktigt lever upp till sitt rykte. 

Och sist men inte minst Pumpkin Delight från Jessica's Spicy Dreams kollektion.

Todays blogpost title is in Swedish but translated to english it say's : Christmas is around the corner! So todays post is about the polishes that I bought from various christmas collections that has been relased recently. The only polish that I haven't recived yet is Darling Diva Polish A christmas Story. I need to cut down on the polishshopping for a while and buy christmas presents instead :)

Nubar Moon Eclipse

Dags att ta ännu en lackoskuld! Första gången jag visar ett lack från Nubar här och även första gången jag provar ett.

Det var ju en trevlig upplevelse må jag säga. Snabbtorkat, relativt lättapplicerat. Relativt mycket därför att jag på grund av vår nya lilla familjemedlem inte kan sitta och lacka där jag brukar utan satt där det var mycket sämre lyse vilket gjorde en del upptäckte jag. Dålig syn, dålig belysning och lite feber är sällan en bra kombination när man ska lacka!

I alla fall flöt det på bra. Tre lager har jag på och det kändes som att det behövdes. Över detta har jag ett lager av Poshé.

Färgen är duokrom mellan lila, brun och bronsaktig. En mycket fin duokrom effekt som jag dessutom är nöjd över att ha lyckats fånga ganska bra på bild. Så idag blir det många bilder!

Jag gillar det här och ser absolut fram emot att prova mera Nubar.

Time to take another polish virginity! This is the first time I show a polish from Nubar here and also the first time I try one.

It was a pleasant experience I must say. Rapidly dried, relatively easily applied. Relatively much because I can't sit at my regular place to paint because of our new little family member. And the place I sat at had much worse lights than I'm used to Poor eyesight, poor lighting and little fever is rarely a good combination when to paint!

In all cases, it applied nicely. I have three layers on, and it felt like it was needed. Over this I have a layer of Poshé.

The color is duochrome between purple, brown and bronze. A very fine duochrome effect that I also am pleased to have managed to capture quite well in the picture. So today there will be a lot of pictures!

I like this polish a lot and is absolutely looking forward to try more Nubar.

Blå måndag med A-England Lady of Shalott

Måndag igen och det är dags för Mrs.Datas Blå måndag.

Efter att ha blivit besviken på A-England Ophelia har jag inte varit riktigt sugen på att testa dom andra i kollektionen som jag köpte, men nu tyckte jag ändå att det var dags.

Nästa ut blev Lady of Shalott och den här tycker jag mycket mer om även om jag fortfarande tycker det ser mer lovande ut i flaskan än vad som faktiskt syns på nageln. I flaskan syns det blåa vackra skimret mycket mer än på nageln där det behövs lite direkt ljus på för att det ska komma fram.

Formulan är bra och torktiden är också bra. Två lager räcker utan problem för täckning. Ett lager seche över för att få till lite extra glans har jag också.

Vad tycker ni om Gothic Beauties? Besvikelse eller inte?

Sen vill jag också passa på att visa upp vår lille nye familjemedlem. Tyvärr så flög lille Sickan vidare till fågelhimlen häromdagen och eftersom det är djurplågeri att ha en ensam Undulat var vi och skaffade en kompis till lille Tonks som var ensam kvar. Färskingen heter ännu så länge inte något.

After the disappointment with A-England Ophelia I wasn't to keen on trying out the others from the Gothic Beauty collection that I bought. But now the time has come to give one of them a try. 

Next one is Lady of Shalott. This one I like a lot more than Ophelia but this also looks more promising in the bottle than on the nail. In the bottle the beautiful blue shimmer is much more visible than on the nail there it actually needs direct sunlight to shown properly. 

The formula is very nice and so is also the drying time. Two layers are enough to make it cover. I also have a layer of Seche over to make it more glossy.

So what is your oppinon about Gothic Beauties? Disappointment or not?

And I will also introduce you to our new familymember. Sadly our little Sickan flew up to the bird heaven a couple of days ago and as it's against the law to have only one Budgie we have gotten a new friend to Tonks who was left all alone. The new one still hasen't got a name.

Nailart Sunday Halloween dots

Jag fortsätter på gårdagens färgschema med orange och svart.

Prickar är alltid rätt och China Glaze Riveting är nog också rätt för det mesta. Så därför fick det bli svarta prickar gjorda med Milani Black Swift över det härliga oranga Riveting. Blev lite som en prickgradient.

Nöjd? Absolut, känns väldigt mycket jag. Över det hela har jag ett lager The Shield.

I'm using the same colors today as yesterday because I really like the combination.

I love China Glaze Riveting and I love dotted manicures so a dotted one with Riveting must be the perfect match! And it turned out to be that. I used Milani Black Swift for the black dots and made it almost like a gradient. And on top I have a layer of A-England The Shield. 

Again a manicure that I'm very very pleased with!
