China Glaze Under the boardwalk

Ännu ett av Summer Neons lacken som gör mig riktigt glad och nöjd.

Under the boardwalk är ett magenta färgat lack, det torkar inte halvmatt så neon är det kanske inte till 100% snarare creme, men ack så fint! Formulan var lite tunn, men jag tyckte ändå inte att den var allt för knepig att måla med. Lite sämre täckning än med dom som är "riktiga" neoner. Tre lager la jag på. Jag valde att inte lägga något topplack på när jag tog bilderna för att ni skulle få se hur den ser ut som den är. Torktiden var för övrigt normal.

Återigen så blir jag fundersam över vad det är som gör att jag gillar det här så skarpt men har dissat både Ahoy och Kimber som är starka rosa lack? Jag vet ärligt talat inte vad det är som gör skillnaden, kan det vara det lilla extra färgstänket som gör att det här inte alls är rosa utan magenta vilket egentligen kan tyckas ganska lika.

Titta väldigt gärna in till mig imorgon igen för då väntar en liten överraskning ;)

Jag vill dessutom passa på att flagga lite för en nystartad Facebook grupp som är till för oss som gillar nagellack och vill byta lack med andra. Sök på Lacka - Byt. Gruppen är sluten så man får skicka en medlemsansökan. Än så länge är den öppen för oss som bor i Europa.

Another one of the China Glaze Summer Neons that makes me really happy and satisfied.

Under the boardwalk is a magenta colored polish,  it will not dry matte so it may not be 100%, neon more like a creme,  but oh so nice! The formula was a bit thin, but I still don't think it was too tricky to paint with. A little less coverage than with those who are "real" neons. I have three layers on. I chose not to put any top coat on when I took the pictures because I wanted you to see how it looks on it's own. The drying time was also normal.

Again, I am puzzled about what that makes me like this so sharply but not China Glaze Ahoy or Zoya Kimber who are strong pink polish? I honestly do not know what it is that makes the difference, it may be that little extra color in this that makes it magenta in stead of pink.

OPI Don't touch my tutu!

OPI Don't touch my tutu är också ett av lacken ur New York City Ballet kollektionen som kom i våras. Ett skirt vitt lack som jag fullkomligt älskar!

Man känner sig väldigt fräsch när man har det här på tycker jag. Appliceringen är ganska ok, kan bli lite strimmigt. Torktiden bra. Precis som när jag visade Care to danse ur samma serie så fick jag göra en fransk manikyr först för att inte mina gula fula naglar skulle lysa igenom alltför mycket.

Jag har tre lager och har toppat med Seche Vite för att jämna ut eventuella ojämnheter i lacket.

 OPI Don't touch my tutu is also one of the polishes from the New York City Ballet collection that came this spring. A sheer white polish that I absolutely love!

You feel very fresh when you have this on in my opinion. The application is pretty ok, can get a little streaky. Drying time is good. Just like when I showed Care to danse from the same series, I had to do a French manicure first so my ugly yellow nails wouldn't show through too much.

I have three layers and is topped with Seche to smooth out any irregularities in the lacquer.

Nailart Sunday: Unlock the worms!

Det här inlägget mina vänner visar er hur det kan gå om man låter yngste familjemedlemmen välja mönster för sin nailart!

Jag satt och velade om vad jag skulle använda för mönster (min hög med plattor börjar bli stor och beslutsångesten lika så!) Grabben ber att få kolla och får mig på något sätt att lova att använda det som väljs....

Enchanted Polish Gummy Worm var ju en väldigt trevlig bekantskap och den kändes intressant att använda som bas till lite stamping. Unge herrns val blev ett mönster som han hittade på Mash M32 nämligen en nyckel! Fråga mig inte varför, men den skulle det vara.

Sen blev det diskussion om vilken färg nyckeln skulle ha, men eftersom det nu faktiskt är jag som skulle fixa dit den så struntade jag i att han insisterade på svart och använde mig istället av Barielles Date Night som stampingfärg.

Kanske inte klassiskt vackert, men bra mycket bättre än vad jag förväntat mig av mönstret, sen är det lite knepigt att få bra bilder på själva mönstret när man använt ett hololack som bas, basen vill gärna sticka ut lite för mycket.

Nailart Sunday är ju Lelacks förtjänst och vanligtvis så brukar hon framåt kvällen lägga en länklista på vilka andra bloggar som också hängt på.

This my friends will show you what can happen if you let the youngest family member choose the pattern for the nail art!

I hesitated about what pattern I was going to use for my nailart (my stack of plates is getting big and the decision anxiety as well!) The youngest son asks if he can take a look and before I know it something weird has happened and I had told him that he could pick the pattern and I promised to use whatever he picked!


Enchanted Polish Gummy Worm was a very pleasant acquaintance, and it seemed interesting to use as a base for a little stamping. Young gentleman's choice was a pattern that he found on the mash M32 plate Do not ask me why, but it was a key!

Then there was discussion about what color the key would be in, but as it's actually me that would place the key on the nail, I made a mutiny and took a green polish Bariells Date Night instead of the black that he insisted upon.

Maybe not classically beautiful, but far better than what I expected of the pattern, then it's a little tricky to get good pictures of the pattern itself after using a holol as a base, the base would like to stand out a bit too much.

China Glaze I'm with the lifeguard

Jag kan inte annat än att härma Gert Fylking när det gäller det här lacket. Nämligen utbrista: Äntligen!

Det här mina vänner är kärlek vid första ögonkastet. Om jag tyckte gårdagens Gummy Worm var giftgrönt så vet jag inte vad jag ska kalla det här. Supergiftgrönt, nä givetvis är det neongrönt det heter. Med skimmer i. I min värld kan det faktiskt inte bli bättre.

Sen att äldste sonen såg lagom förskräckt ut när hans mamma med ett löjligt leende visade färgen är ju en helt annan historia.

Jag hade inga problem med appliceringen. Gick smärtfritt tycker jag. Tre lager krävdes och visst finns det en antydan till VNL, men absolut inte störande. Torktiden var helt ok och precis som andra neoner så torkar det lite halvmatt. Jag la på CG:s Fast Forward som jag för övrigt är sådär imponerad av. Kommer nog att hålla mig till Poshé och Seche i fortsättningen också. Är för bortskämd med torktiden på dom två.

Nu ska jag sluta babbla och istället visa er min käresta. Ni som nu trodde att jag här skulle visa en bild på min man hade fel! Inte den kärestan utan China Glaze I'm with the lifeguard.

Frågan är om något av de andra Summer Neons lacken jag har kan slå det här? Tror inte det!


All I could do when I had put this color on was to sit and stare at my nails!

This my friends is love at first sight. If I thought yesterday's Gummy Worm was poison green I don't know what to call this. Super Poison Green, nah, of course, it's neon green it's called. And it has shimmer in it to. In my world, things may actually not get better. And to be honest.. I had a really bad day yesterday so I deserved this color.

Then the fact that the eldest son watched with horror in his eyes when his mother showed him this with a silly smile on her face.

I had no problems with the application. Went smoothly, I think. Three coats were needed and there are a hint of VNL, but certainly not distracting. The drying time was ok, and like other neons it dries a little matte. I put on the CG's Fast Forward that I also like to state that I'm not super impressed with. Will probably stick to Poshé and Seche in the future also. Is too spoiled with the drying time on those two.

Now I'll stop babbling and instead show you my sweetheart. And for those of you who now thought that  I would show a picture of my husband was wrong! Not that sweetheart but China Glaze I'm with the lifeguard.

Holofredag Enchanted Polish Gummy Worm

Jag funderade på vad jag skulle välja att visa er denna Skimmerskuggans holofredag,  jag har fått hem flera fina Ozotic, jag har en hel del Depend kvar och även en Nfu Oh, men nä, istället blev det ett Enchated Polish som jag föll för.

Häromdagen fick jag hem en beställning från Llarowe, vid det tillfället när jag beställde fanns det vad som kallades för Schratch n' dent bag. Det vill säga 3 hemliga lack där flaskan eller etiketten blivit lite skadade eller kladdiga så man inte kan sälja dom för fullpris. Kul grej tänkte jag och klickade ner den i min shoppingcart.

Bland dom lacken låg till min stora förtjusning Enchanted Polish Gummy Worm inte en utan till och med två flaskor. Det här är ett märke som jag haft mina ögon på och varit riktigt sugen på att prova och ett av dom lacken jag var mest sugen på var just det här!

Det är ett ljust giftgrönt hololack med helt underbar formula. Två lager behövdes för täckning. Formulan var alldeles lagom tjock och följsam. Torkade snabbt gjorde det också. Det är väl kanske ingen superholo effekt i det här, men det gör ingenting för jag älskar färgen!

Etiketten är som ni ser på bilden lite nerkladdad, men det gör ju heller ingenting! På bilderna är det alltså två lager av Gummy Worm och ett lager Seche Vite över. Dessutom tittade morgonsolen fram alldeles lagom till jag skulle ut och fota :)

I was thinking about what I wanted to show you this holofriday. I got several fine Ozotic, I have a lot Depend left, but no, instead it became a Enchated Polish that I fell for.

The other day I got an order from Llarowe, at the time when I ordered there was what was called Schratch n 'dent bag. That is 3 secret varnish in which the bottle or the label has become a bit damaged or sticky so you can't sell them for full price. A bit fun with surprises, I thought and clicked it into my shopping cart.

Among the polishes was to my great delight Enchanted Polish Gummy Worm. This is a brand that I've had my eye on and was really tempted to try one of their polishes and the one that I was most keen on was Gummy worm!

 It is a bright poison green holo with wonderful formula. Two coats were needed for coverage. The formula was perfectly thick and smooth. And it also dried quickly. It is perhaps no superholo effect of this, but it does not matter because I love the color!

The label is what you see in the picture a little smudgy, but it doesn't matter! In the pictures, it is two layers of Gummy Worm and a coat of Seche Vite over.  The morning sun showed  just in time for me to go out and take these pictures :)
