Zoya Zuza

Idag blir det ytterligare ett lack som lätt skulle kunna hamna i min favoritlista!

Zoya Zuza är ett underbart turkost lack med silverskimmer som ingår i Surf kollektionen som kom nu i våras.  Trots att det enligt Zoya ska vara ett Metallic lack så tycker jag inte det blir några borstmärken. Det är enkelt att applicera, torkar snabbt och är helt enkelt underbart! Det enda man ska vara lite försiktig med och det är just för att det torkar snabbt är att försöka rätta till lacket vid applicering. Blir lätt kala fläckar då.

På bilderna så har jag tre lager av Zuza och inget mer.

Jag har nog gått och blivit en riktigt stor Zoya fan. Synd att dom är så dyra att köpa här. På tal om att köpa saker så damp det ner 25 nya Stamping plattor från Mash i lådan igår. Är riktigt bra, jag kunde ju inte låta bli att prova lite igår kväll :)

 

Den här färgen gör mig glad och känns väldigt somrig!

Today's post is about a polish that could easily end up in my list of favorites!

Zoya Zuza is a wonderful turquoise lacquer with silver shimmer that is part of Surf Collection that came this spring. Despite the fact that Zoya describes it as a metallic paint I don't think it was any problem with brushstrokes as is common with metallic polish. It is easy to apply, dries quickly and is simply wonderful! All you have to be careful about with this is not to try to adjust anything when you paint because that can cause it to leave naked spots. But I guess this has to do with the fact that it dryes quickly.

In the pictures I have three layers of Zuza and nothing more.

I guess I've gone and become a big fan of Zoya polishes. Too bad they are so expensive to buy here in Sweden. One bottle is almost 20 USD.

Speaking of buying things. Yesterday my new stamping plates from Mash arrived. And they are great! Had to try one of time last night even though I should have gone to bed!

Orly Faint Of Heart

Om lacket jag visade igår var galet, glittrande vackert så är det här minst lika vackert fast på ett helt annat sätt.

Orly Faint Of Heart är ett ljust grå/brunt cremelack. Lite rinnig i konsistensen och torkar inte riktigt så fort som jag kunde önskat så jag la på ett lager av Poshé för att snabba på det hela lite. Jag har lagt tre lager och som sagt ett lager Poshé och det var inte enbart för torktidens skull utan även för att jämna ut lacket lite grann. Sen kan jag ju inte låta bli att återigen hylla Orly's korkar. Älskar dom!

På bilderna ser det ut som att det är små svarta partiklar i lacket. I verkligheten är detta inget jag märker något av.

Det här är ett lugnt och skönt lack i mitt tycke. Ett lack som jag är mycket glad att jag beställde.

If the polish I showed yesterday were crazy, sparkling beautifully, this is just as beautiful but in a completely different way.

Orly Faint Of Heart is a light gray / brown creme. A little runny in consistency and does not dry quite as fast as I would want to so I added a layer of Poshé to speed up things a bit. I have three layers and as I said a stock Poshé and it was not only for drying sake but also to smooth the polish a little. Then of course I can not help but once again pay tribute to Orly's corks. I love them!

In the pictures it looks like there are tiny black particles in the lacquer. In reality, this is not something I notice any of the.

This is a quiet and nice paint in my opinion. A polish that I am very happy that I ordered.

China Glaze Harvest Moon

Lacket jag tänker visa er idag är ett av dom som ingår i China Glaze Colors from the Capitol eller Hunger Games kollektion, nämligen Harvest Moon.

Det har redan visats på många andra bloggar, men är absolut värt att visas igen. Färgen är bronsig med guldiga undertoner. Så himla fin är den, jag förstår inte varför jag väntade så länge med att använda den!

Formulan är helt ok. Jag använde två ganska tjocka lager för full täckning. Torktiden är bra och glansigheten är också bra. På bilderna är det inget topplack.

Harvest Moon är i mitt tycke ett av de vackraste lacken i den här kollektionen. Vilket tycker ni toppar listan av Hunger Games kollektionen?


The polish I'll show you today is one of those who are part of China Glaze Colors from the Capitol or the Hunger Games collection: Harvest Moon.

It has already been shown at many other blogs, but it's well worth showing again. The color is bronze with golden undertones. So very beautiful, I don't know why I waited so long to use it!

The formula is quite ok. I used two thick coats for full coverage. The drying time is good and the glossiness is also good. In the pictures, there is no topcoat.

To me Harvest Moon is one of the top polishes from this collection. What is your favorite from the Hunger Games collection?

Nailart Sunday: Stripes!

Igår visade jag China Glaze Ahoy!

Jag var ju inte helt nöjd med min egen reaktion över lacket, så något måste göras!

Helt sonika tog jag fram lite nailartfärger och la till lila och pärlemorvita streck. Skepp o'hoy vad trevligt jag helt plötsligt tyckte det här blev.

I was not completely happy with my own reaction of the lacquer, so something must be done!

Quite simply , I took out a little nailartcolorsr and added purple and pearly white lines. Ship o'hoy and suddenly I  thought this was really nice :)

Ahoy! på er allihopa..

China Glaze Ahoy! var det mina vänner Annelene och Mathilda som valde ut åt mig vid en Beautyjoint beställning. Bra med kompisar som får en att köpa lite annat än dom färger och märken man alltid tittar på annars :)

Lacket är mörkt rosa med glasflakes som jag inte riktigt kan avgöra om dom är guldiga eller en annan rosa färg. Lite rinnigt i formulan tyckte nog jag, men bra täckning. Två lager tyckte jag räckte. Torktiden är bra, men trotts att jag tycker det här är så härligt i färgen så var min första tanke: Nej, det här kan jag inte ha!

Jag kände mig helt enkelt inte riktigt hemma med färgen. Vilket är väldigt synd. Fast vem vet när det suttit på lite så kan man ju ofta ändra uppfattning om hur man tycker att det känns på. Det jag tycker är konstigt är att jag trivs bra i Kicks Pink Flamingo och CG:S Purple Panic. Pink Flamingo är ju också ett ganska skarpt mörkt rosa och Purple Panic ett riktigt Neonrosa, vad är det då som gör att det här inte säger klick?

Jag valde att lägga ett lager Seche över för att få upp glansen lite.

Har ni varit med om det här också. Att man lackar med en färg som man tidigare gillat och trivts i och helt plötsligt inte känner sig hemma i?

Ahoy! all of you ..

China Glaze Ahoy! was a polish that my friends Annelene and Mathilda, chose for me at a Beautyjoint order. It's always good when somebody else make you open your eyes and make you look at other colors and brands than you usually do.

The polish is dark pink with glasflakes that I can not really determine whether they are golden or another pink. A bit runny formula,  but the coverage is good. Two layers of it was enough. The drying time is good, Despite of all this my first thought when seeing it on my nails was: No, this is so not me!

I was just not quite at home with the color. Which is a pity. But who knows when it has been on the nail for a while maybe I will change my mind. That has happende before. What I find strange is that I really enjoy Kicks Pink Flamingo and CG'S Purple Panic. Pink Flamingo's also a fairly sharp dark pink and Purple Panic properly Neon Pink, what is it that makes this not work out for me?

I chose to add a layer of Seche over to bring up the gloss a bit.
