Vivid Lacquers stamping plattor har jag varit nyfiken på ganska länge faktiskt och när Katarina på Edgy Polish fick in dom i lager och dessutom frågade om jag ville testa någon så tackade jag självklart ja med ett stort leende.
Allt jag använt i den här manikyren går faktiskt att hitta på Edgy Polish. Basen är lacket jag visade igår Polish TBH Pathos. Mönstret kommer från Vivid Lacquer platta nr 14 och lacket jag gjort mönstret med är Mentality Emily.
Vad tycker jag nu om den här plattan då? Mönstren är mycket bra etsade och följer fint med upp på stämpeln.
Det är riktigt stora mönster på plattan om ni kollar bilden på själva plattan och sen jämför med vad jag har på nageln så ser ni att det kanske är en tredje del av mönstret. Jag ser ju dock inte detta som en nackdel. Dels är det bra om man har mycket bredare naglar än vad jag har och dels så ger det ju faktiskt en ganska mycket valmöjlighet till hur man vill utforma sin manikyr. Mönstret var inte heller så djupt etsat att det var svårt att rengör plattan vilket alltid är en fördel tycker jag.
Man skulle också mycket väl kunna välja att ta ljusare underlag och stämpla med vitt för att sen fylla i med så kallad leadlight i det här mönstret.
Jag gillar hur färgerna funkade ihop mellan Pathos och Emily och jag gillar mönstret även om jag erkänner att jag den här gången kanske inte fick till det hundraprocentigt, men det skyller jag på min förkylning!

Stamping plate sent out for review
Vivid Lacquers stamping plates is something I've been curious about for quite some time actually and when Katarina on Edgy Polish got them in stock and additionally asked if I wanted to try one I obvious said yes with a big smile.
Everything I used in this manicure is actually things you can find at Edgy Polish. The base is the polish I showed yesterday Polish TBH Pathos. The pattern comes from Vivid Lacquer plate 14 and the polish I made the pattern with is Mentality Emily.
What do I think about this plate then? The patterns are very well etched and follows nicely on to the stamp.
The patterns are really big. If you look at the picture with the plate and then compare with what I have on the nail you will see that it is perhaps a third part of the pattern. I however sees that as an advantage. Not only is it good if you have much wider nails than I have but also it gives you more than just one choice of manicure from one image. The pattern was not so deeply etched that it was difficult to clean the plate which is always an advantage, I think.
I can also see this one used over a much brighter color stamped with white and then filled in with so called leadlight technique.
I like how the colors worked together between Pathos and Emily and I like the pattern, although I admit that I maybe this time did not get to it one hundred percent perfect, but I blame my cold for that!
